    I have these pair of hands, and I have some notes about them to look out for:
    1. They work best as a replacement hands for those kits that uses those Emotion Manipulators used in some MG kits such as the MG Nu Gundam Ver. Ka., albeit they're smaller in size.
    2. I've observed that they're much more durable compared to the Emotion Manipulator hands, due to the wrist joint being a simple bar hinge joint as opposed to the awkward ball joint connection in the Emotion Manipulator hands. Plus, the fact you have to assemble the hands yourself adds to the durability, instead of having it pre-built on the runner.
    3. You don't need to add the tab on the palm of these hands for those accesories compatible with Emotion Manipulators. The slot is already enough. You just have to shave the tab for the weapons so that it doesn't fit too tight on the slot of the palm for the DL hands.
    4. Only the palm parts can be painted. The fingers are made with a mix of ABS and Polypropylene plastics and the latter type of plastic doesn't hold paint well. The palm parts are made of ABS plastic.
    4. You really have to squeeze tight and hard on the two halves of the palm parts to keep the fingers from falling off. Do note that once done, they're hard to separated without the risk of the pegs from breaking off.
    5. Use a hobby knife to remove the nubs and flashes on the fingers. Do not sand them off because they will look unpresentable if you sand them off

    I found these at an online shop and they do have different variations some of which are specific for the astrays, banshee, and (?) unicorn. Not entirely sure how these will fit in smaller scale MG kits like the seed or 00 line though.

      So it seems online stores are getting these in stock finally. I wonder if a lot of people will be getting them.
      I think they'd look okay, they're a bit petit compared to hands of 18m MSes like the GM, so they'd be slightly big on OO, but I imagine they'd still look good

    what these hands can do is alot of expresive poses.
    lets face it, we all made them give the finger.

    Mysterious! I wonder if the person who ordered these for your local shop might be able to source them. They're definitely an interesting thing to play around with!

      The store has lots of their waterslide decals too, so I think they do get their things from the company directly. Maybe I'll ask the store owner the next time I visit

    Can we use the original palms of the old trigger finger, three finger split hands? I imagine that it could. Ordered a set of the astray red hands.

    • @HobbyClubhouse
      @HobbyClubhouse  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hm, I'd test them out for you but I've lent my GM out to someone. I'll let you know when I can try that out -- though I suspect they won't fit

    • @ameerrusydanirfan1054
      @ameerrusydanirfan1054 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@HobbyClubhouse I think the GM's hand really don't fit because of the bigger hands. There's the red and white one made for the Astray, and this led me to think that it's gonna be the same size. Astray hands are the usual ball jointed trigger finger three finger split hands. Hopefully the ball joint size on the fingers are the same as the palms making them interchangeable. Surely that'll solve the problem of the narrower pegs for weapon holding. Mine will be in the mail today or tomorrow and I'll try it out as soon as I get my hands on them. Pun intended.

  • @DoctorWhyDesigns

    This may sound like a strange question, but do you think they could work with a Full Mechanics kit?

    • @HobbyClubhouse
      @HobbyClubhouse  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I imagine that they do, since those use ball joints too for the hands. From the videos I can find, they don't look like unusual sizes or anything. I sadly don't have any of the kits from the line so I can't test that out...

    I have been NEEEEEEDING hands like these I recently built my first master grade, the origin rx-78-02, and the hands just kept falling apart on me. It was really discouraging when I heard they are the standard for more recent MG's but if i ever see these ill have to make sure I order a few extra's!

    • @shinigamikira9469
      @shinigamikira9469 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol I just started the origin rx78 and ran into the same problem hence why I'm here. Yea it's disappointing to hear how much the hands suck.

    I have the Red and Blue variants of these for my Red and Blue Astrays. I tried to use the fingers to replace the ones on the Astray kits themselves because I like the hand armor plate on those better but sadly the ball joints on these are too small. The Astray hand armor plates can't go on the palm piece on these too because the hole placements are different lol
    Anyway, hopefully you can also come across the King Sword Dragon addons made by this company too. They're functionally pretty much the Caletwvlch but with the designs taken from the Astray's Tactical Arms, and they come in 4 colors.

    • @HobbyClubhouse
      @HobbyClubhouse  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I wonder if the back plate's sizes are close enough that you could cut off the pegs and glue them directly for a brute-force solution

    is it legal or illegal to use this part for our custom gunpla that we submitted for GBWC? The same case goes for kotobukiya custom hands too...

    • @HobbyClubhouse
      @HobbyClubhouse  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      That's a good question. I know they don't like Kotobukiya parts for sure, but more so for things like weapons and wings and such but I don't know about hands.
      Technically, they're not okay for sure on paper. Whether they'd do anything about it for just hands... you'd have to roll the dice for that:)

    • @HobbyClubhouse
      @HobbyClubhouse  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think these would be a bit small for Sazabi. They match better with 18-meter 'standard' MSes like the GM in the video. The ball joint options would probably work though, so I imagine they would physically fit at least...
