Just wondering what's the difference between this online class and the videos u have uploaded? Would that be the same technique but just comes with patterns?
Wendy Yang This class covers some of the same information - but it's specific to the pattern that's included in the class. For example - I show how to layer all the pieces for each block. Plus I include some things that I haven't done videos for before - like how to applique with fusible adhesive on knits, how to do decorative stitching, a bunch of alternative methods for doing those tiny eyes, etc. Also - the class shows me making one quilt from start to finish - from rotary cutting the blocks to binding the finished quilt. I've had a lot of requests for that kind of systematic approach and the Craftsy platform is more suited to it than individual TH-cam videos.
Yes! I am so glad I will see Wendi Gratz in Craftsy! I am looking forward to taking Fusible Applique Made Easy !
Lourdes JOHNSON Yay! I can't wait to see what you make! :-)
Really glad for you to be sharing your techniques on the Craftsy platform! Will be signing up for the class! How cool is this?!
Just signed up. I'm really looking forward to learning applique. I am a big fan of Wendy's Shiny Happy World blog.
Lynn McClelland Thanks so much! And welcome to the class! :-)
Love your applique videos!!! Can you please do a tutorial on the Carpenters Star quilt block please? ??
Tressie Carter Sorry - that kind of intricate piecing isn't my thing. :-)
Ok thank you.
