As a newcomer to pole fishing (new as in, just bought the gear but havent used it yet) I've found these videos brilliant. Especially this one which has answered loads of questions.
Many many thanks. Got a pole for Chrimbo but been frightened to use it through ignorance. You've given me the confidence now to give it ago amongst the other anglers. Stay sfe. 😉
I'm just getting into pole fishing with a margin pole. These videos have answered pretty much every question Ive had thank you. With the feeding cup thing at the top of the top kit should it be used to feed then remove? If you get a but and a good bend on your pole will the cup not fall off?
Hi, is there any reason why you can't. Tie a pole rig to a waggler float road. I like the pole float, when fishing for skimmers. As nice and light, less resistance when the fish bite.
marking the float alone is not good des.i do the dacron to.pull the elastic out and see then your float is not at the same mark as in the begiinin.wy the elastic stresches out.greets jp

A good cup should stay on
What happens if the waters deeper than the rig?
Using pink elastic what strength is recommended on 8pound _ 14pound fish?

Yes you can attach it to a rod, the only issue you'd face is casting and keeping the float in the correct position.
@@UKprestoninnovations thanks for the reply.
Thanks this has helped
Hi
Are those electric overhead cables right over the lake 😳, Poles are a massive conductor of electricity.
Not just poles, but carbon in general. Its why F1 stop racing during lightning strikes.
Yogi Johnson poles are made out of carbon
