Nice and easy to follow no bull s-- who make the plummets nu fish keep the information coming you never stop learning I’m 78 but still there’s something new thanks Joe
What a great video!! Can i ask though how you determine how far out to start fishing? You say too kit plus 2 so is that were you always fish and then look for a flat spot? Many thanks
Good info. The only thing that you missed out was lash length - particularly with a new rig - it would probably need shortening before starting fishing.
Great video and very well explained. Can I ask as a newbie. How did you shot up the float when using the pellet on a band and also how to play big fish on an elastic? Thanks
As a newcomer, stick to a nice simple shotting. A bulk and two droppers will always work no matter what bait you select. Leave about 15mm of bristle showing and you will be on the way to success.
I notice you mark the float position on topkit at the bottom of float. Is that right way or personal preference? I mark mine at top of bristle so questioning if I been doing it wrong. Also if you setting float at fixed depth from depth marker on top kit at ie 18inch do you set it from bottom of float body. Again I been using top of bristle so technically I am fishing more that 18inch. Doh! it makes sense now. Love the videos and you're very relatable keep them coming. Been using your tatics and tips. Had bumper day at sessay last week
I mark the depth to where I plumbed. so in this instance I want to fish at the base of the float body and I mark the depth at the same spot if that makes sense.
Hi Alan, on some venues it just isn't possible. If you are fishing for carp in silty areas, try lighter plummets and bigger target hook baits such as worms and paste. on the short pole I always look for where the hard bottom stops and the silt starts, you can usually feel the plummet plugging in slightly. Then come back toward you back onto the harder lake bed.
Great reminder to spend time at the front end of your day to manage results…thanks Joe 🙌🏼🙌🏼🎣🎣

@@NuFishThanks for the reply. How far down the line should the bulk of shot be please?

Sorry forgot also to ask. Should you avoid areas where it’s silty or is that impossible on some venues?

What make and where can i buy the plummets?
They are NuFish Cyclops plummets, usually found in little boxes somewhere in your local shop :)
