Man I love me the N64, collecting for it this past year was amazing to see all the games I missed out on. I got to experience Mystical Ninja and Hybrid Heaven and was shook by how unique they were. Another game I can suggest would also be Shadowgate 64, it’s a first person exploration game all about environmental puzzle elements. Great list Shinky!
Great list Shinky! You tackled this one pretty well despite the N64 struggling to have much JRPG representation. Paper Mario is such a beautiful game too!
I'm surprised you didn't mention Ogre Battle 64. Or maybe it's more strategy as opposed to RPG. Our family had the original on the SNES. But my brother got into an accident and sold it off to help pay for car repairs. The game sold for over $100 and this was in 1998 dollars. Yes, it was rare and people were willing to pay that much over the internet for it.
@@Shinky Really? I'll admit to not having played 64 but I really enjoyed the SNES one. You definitely play more of a commander role in the game, with the unit actions in battle being automatic. So it might not just be your thing. Totally understandable.
The N64 was my first time playing one of the Mega Man Legends games. I only rented the game and didn't beat it, but would eventually acquire it on the PS1 along with Legends 2. I have fond memories of that game. I need more like it.
Megaman Legends is great for what it is, but I feel it needs a remaster with modernized controls and gameplay. Needing to stand still to use weapons is frustrating. Along with no analog control, and using the shoulder buttons to look left and right. Ooof.
You're really going to ask what people's favorite farming sims are? Is there anyone out there who isn't going to say Stardew Valley? I mean, I like em. I started with the original Harvest Moon on SNES but Stardew just does everything so perfectly.
@@Shinky I have One of those Rune Factory games on the Switch. I want to say...4? Not sure. I gave it a try for a bit and just didn't click. But My friend really liked it. I've just been replaying some older as of late but I should try and see if it'll tickle my fancy this time.

All are super solid games. Hybrid Heaven blew my mind by how good it was! Collecting for the N64 is a pricey console to collect for but so worth it

There were a few I wanted to add like gauntlet legends and ogre battle but I had to pass on it for better options

It’s crazy to think that the SNES has so much JRPG’s and then the N64 is like nope lol. I agree with you we desperately need a new Custom Robo game.
Yeah, I blame the fact that they stuck with cartridges at that point. Still it got some pretty good games not found anywhere else
