Heak yeah that's a good saw I have the same one and you got a good deal in it and it's a go getter also and my dad has an old 048 AV electric we trying to fine a handle and tank for to get it running again. I haven't heard that saw run since I was little and would love to get it going again. But enjoyed this video of the 036 pro. God bless 🙏
Congrats on the 036!! Great saw and well bought at that price. I'd like to see how the Royal Purple performs too. Remember, it takes a touch over twelve 1 gallon premix bottles to equal a quart. Ultra at my local Ace Hardware is $2.99 each for the 1 gallon premeasured and the 2 gallon is $4.89 making it $36.80 and $30.09 a qt. Regardless of what oil you choose it's still cheaper to buy a Ratio cup and oil by the quart.

We need to have a chainsaw day. I have two 620s but they are not stock. Looks like it started up well and is running good. Let’s just say I know what you mean about pecan. I was told about 5 trees and was given permission. Well the sheriff showed up, person leasing land showed up, then I found it was someone else property. It was a mess. Basically in-laws, neighbors and the law. I was just there scoping it out and had no saws with me. 😉
not a bad saw I almost bought one in the spring at an auction I think it sold for $105 I threw a couple bids at it but I didn't really need it, someone got a good deal on it. I run Briggs and Stratton two stroke oil at 32:1 it burns clean and leaves a great oil film (which it should at 32:1) I get it at Menards it's $8 a pint for the measuring bottle or $2.99 for 8oz bottles which is what I buy and measure it my self, I also like mystik lawn and garden semi synthetic it's dirt cheap at $6 a quart.
Do you run 40:1 in your weed eaters? Mine it seemed to take a tank or 2 for them to start running good, they were a little smoky at first. The saws have done great on 40:1

I've been using the honda HP2 and Schaeffers TC-W3. Both seem to be working well.
Both seem like excellent options, it is annoying getting hoodwinked so long with the stihl ultra

40:1 echo red armor non ethanol. You will notice not problems at 40:1
