I really like to thank you for your video. It shows me a lot I have a 2022 Camaro LT one completely stock. It is very fast but I want to get more horsepower so I guess I need a new throttlebody a cam and some headers once again, I want to thank you very much and I hope you keep putting out good videos. Thank you.
Where’s the throttle body from ? I have a lt2 manifold as well but I’m not to sure if the throttle body off the c7 stingray fit . I’m assuming it should since it’s also a lt1
I have a 2018 camaro ss 1le looking for a similar setup. Only mod i have on my camaro is a k&n air intake.. What would i need to get set up like this??
I was thinking about doing a twin turbo vs supercharging my 2ss 1le. I was thinking it would be great something different as most keep them NA or supercharge them. My question is it worth looking at twin turbo? Is it still reliable? I have 2 years until I do anything from stock just not touching it until my 3 year manufacture warranty is up until I touch it as anything that I will do would void it.
Can't understand why people didn't like the front end for that year it doesn't do nothing either way for me not worse not better than the current design I like the 16 and 17 year front ends the most other than the ZL1 17 and up front and Hood
I haven’t done that in a 5.3 yet. Oh for sure. Heads and ethanol will put it at/over 600. Ethanol alone picked up 30-35 on these combos. Really awesome cars
What kind/brand of headers? Do they incorporate into the factory exhaust by bolt up? Or do I need to find a lift to TIG it? This is exactly how I'd like my 2016 to sound and perform. Nice job.
Thats nice! Better than where I am, with such an old ls1, I'd have to do heads, cam, lifters, pushrods, gaskets, bolts, springs, trays, oil pump, timing chain, balancer, intake, o-rings, etc.. or just swap an ls3 in there with a few harnesses.
Not a fan of these Camaros buh I might make the switch for how capable these engines can be for modifications vs a Mustang Coyote series or Challenger 5.7 Hemi. Expensive, but for what I would WANT it to do, better than a ZL1 💯 Very impressive numbers, I just hope I can find one and put a active exhaust, dont want it loud all the time! Hope its reliable too, at least before moving onto a forced induction setup.
Only down side is now cams are not an easy swap anymore. Cam, LT's, intake, TB, and mani your looking at $12k. might as well just slap a supercharger on, mild boost and bam, 550-560 rwhp for 10k.
You may already know about it and/or you may not be interested, but I know all too well what it's like to miss a car/truck that you built by hand after you've sold it, so with that being said, I just saw where your old mandingo camaro is currently for sale out in Cali..listed on the LS1 marketplace.
What's a build like this cost? And what exhaust does this customer have front to back? I've watched a few of your videos I think I'm sold on the BTR stage 2 cam. I live 9 hours away from your shop.
@@MasterCarguy44-pk2dq here’s one we did with an $18k bill. The blower alone was $9,500. Kooks headers about $2,400. we didn’t do a camshaft. So the possibility of lifter failure is still there. Blowers are certainly less labor than can/heads etc. but with parts costs these days. It’s insane how quickly modding these things add up.
Going from LS3 to LT1 a cam swap is no longer a simple bolt-on either and expensive. Im not a fan of half the engine being removed to do a cam on LT anything newer.
Hey bud, this is my car, currently it has a BTR 225 cam, LT2 intake manifold, 95MM katech throttle body, kooks 2in longtube headers, flex fuel sensor for E85. Dynod at 535whp on pump gas and shoukd be about 560-570whp on E85

Great Video 🤙🏼amazing looking Camaro
Thumbs up for using SAE correction. Too many shops and individuals use STD to inflate their numbers.
I’ve done it on a few. But I’d rather it to be just a few more close to real life myself lol
Yup I can count only 3 shops I've found on TH-cam using SAE numbers.
Sounds pretty sweet

I have an A10 same modifications minus the cam. I'm nowhere close to these numbers. It was 102 degrees the day we put it on the dyno tho. Great vid 👍
Awesome to the chop chop .. was that a third gear … 3000rpm roll ! Sheshhh sounds good

Such a good looking car. I wonder what some heads would add to this. Would this cam be too big to make good power in a 5.3 RCSB?

They bolt in/clamp into the exhausting exhaust system.
I can’t remember but I believe we did kooks on this car
When tuning these Gen V motors N/A, do you find that they are knock limited, or just run out of power and no sense putting more timing in it?
im sure you answered your own question. when tuning a vehicle thats usually one of the limitations, hence the reason you need a higher octane fuel.
Thats nice!

So non-ported Lt2 with ported 95mm TB?
Can you give the list of mods??
Do you have ported heads and you need to upgrade the stock converters
These heads were stock.
It was a stick shift.
But yes I recommend a 3,600-3,800 for that cam.
What numbers do you think an automatic would make with the same mods?
490-500? With a locked converter they are not too bad.
