So true. The whole diabetes anti-sugar thing has put so much misinformation out there about the supposed “dangers” of sugar and because of that, people think they need to stay away from sugar. And so they choose low carb / high fat instead. They think a bag of jelly beans is just as bad for you as a packet of potato chips. Nothing could be further from the truth. It’s very difficult to try and convince people that carbs are ok.
Always love your content Durian! I dig sugar and the higher carbohydrates, and my BMI has been 19-20 for the past 30 years. Additional secret: only eat 3 times a day (6am, 12noon, 6pm) and no snacking in between. If you feel “hungry” eat an apple!
I don't I used to be 441lbs and over a 20 month period I'm down to 160lbs and relatively fit. I didn't go to a gym, I couldn't go jogging as my knees are knackered due to the weight I carried around so I rode a bike and did a diet. I did start on a hybrid then a carbon road bike and then I got a MTB because I always felt stressed out on the UK roads. Merry Christmas 😊👍👍👍
Simple reason is...for most that do not have a fitness lifestyle, its easier to be fat. PS. even when I was a little boy, I was always grossed out by fat people.
