I drove a 18 wheeler with my husband back in the 80’s & 90’s. Needless to say we pulled over several times because of Alabama songs!!!! Great memories! He passed away in Feb of this year but we had 50 years together & we made them count!
Brings back memories of my wife and I swaying back and forth on the dance floor to this song. Together now 40+ years and nearly 38 married, so many memories…
Oh how many wonderful memories this brings back. I found the love of my life back in 1981. This exactly how he made me feel. That love we found only grew stronger through the years. I had to let him go to go be with Jesus in 2022. Oh how miss his sweet gentle kind touch. I have a precious promise though that we will reunite when Jesus calls me home to be with him. Once again we will be together but this time throughout eternity. Even so COME LORD JESUS!
I lost my husband at 47 in December 1999. It’s now 2024 and I’m still crying at 72 years old. He would always say I may not love you all your life but I’ll love you for the rest of mine. I love you Freddie

Alabama is my favorite Country Band of all time. I was a teenager in the early 1980s and I played their greatest hits album over and over. Old Flame and She's Close Enough To Perfect are 2 of my favorite songs. I love all of their songs though. They will always be my favorite. They bring back precious memories. I wish I could go back, those were some fun and awesome times to be a teenager. Of course,I had a crush on Randy Owen what teenage girl didn't lol 🤣🤣 he is so darn handsome. But so are Teddy and Jeff. I will always love them. Thank you Alabama for years of great and authentic entertainment, what a talented and awesome band. 💞💞💜💜

He said it's a new country group called Alabama. I asked him where I could find the album and he pointed me in the direction of the display with the album & cassette featured prominently. I play this song every night for my baby and think of her. Marcie and I had "Feels So Right by Alabama" for our wedding song and was one of our all time favorites to play while milling around the house. She went on to Eternity with our King Savior this past June of 2024. Through the grieving process I've learned and feel our soul's became as one the moment we met to became husband and wife. Marcie is very much apart of me, we're one in spirit together for Eternity. Intra Muros - Chapter 16-17 // Rebecca Ruter Springer (Audiobook) fast forward to time stamp 13:30 and listen from there. The full audio book is really good take time and listen to a chapter each day. Upload to your phone plug in the earbuds and enjoy. I can picture my parents slow dancing to this song in our living room when I was a kid. They are both deceased now, so it makes me smile, but I am smiling through tears.
I've posted this on other videos. I've loved alot of music and love a lot of artists. But no one comes close to Alabama. I've seen them like 6 or 7 years in a row at The Wisconsin State Fair. My wish is to make to a June Jam, visit their museum. But most of all, I'd like to be sitting on the banks of the Tennessee River, fishing, and Randy come on stolling buy. With rod and takle in hand. Come sit down, and just talk life. I miss Jeff!!!💔 We shared Birthdays. These guys will forever be in my heart. I've played acoustic, love playing their songs. Alabama forever.
Today is mine & my husband's 38th wedding anniversary. This was our first dance song. It has always been our song. When we DJ a wedding, he always plays this song as his sound check : )
I just learned this was my mom and dad’s song they danced to at their wedding. A love so strong... I admire them so much. And I appreciate this song more than ever ❤️
I first saw these guys at Holiday Beach in Douglas Ga as a teenager in ?1980 or 81? Then in San Diego while serving in USN in 89. Cannot wait to see them again on April 1 with 7 great friends! I am not that crazy teenager any longer who stole a kiss from Randy Owens but their music took me around the world and back home to the true love of my life.
this was one of me and my beautiful wifes song. Sadly she passed yesterday 56 years young from demintia a battle we went thru together here at home for seven years. i will see her again someday. 35 years together ,never will be another like her. this song brings back great memories.
Alabama, my favorite band of all time. WOW! It's been a great and precious journey following this amazing band for at least 40 years. I appreciate the sacrifice that Alabama did to provide me with this magnificent music for all of these years. GOD BLESS ALABAMA AND THEIR FAMILIES. YOU ARE SO LOVED!!
Hello 👋 Connie. How are you doing? Hope you’re fine. I am Mark Clifford and am from Denver Colorado. Where are you from? You seem like a real country girl.
I have loved this band the very first time I heard them. They were the first concert I went to. He has the sexiest controlled voice of any male vocalist imo. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ also best harmony’s!!!
I'm so deeply in love with the man on my dreams and now in my life. I can't wait to start our lives together. Thank you God for this beautiful union. Perfectly gentle with just the right amount of passion. I'm so in love with Him. Peace and Joy throughout this union. 🙏🏻♥️
Me too my parents use to always have pinochle games every weekend. And of course the record player would be on. I must of been 5 or 6. But I remember I felt so grown up because they would let me be in charge of changing records. It was Alabama, Sawyer Brown, George strait, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson , Randy Travis. I'm sure I'm forgetting some. But I think the only rock they would play is Meatloaf and Elvis. LOL. I seen a bunch of country bands live back in the 80's and 90's. I saw Alabama twice. And they're as good live as on record. Seen Sawyer Brown. Randy Travis. My mom had MS. And she was a huge Randy Travis fan. Well he seen her at the end of the show up by the stage in her wheelchair. And next thing we know a security guard comes over and says Mr Travis would like you all to come back stage. He wants to meet you. I never seen my mom so Happy as that day. I couldn't believe he took the time to do that. He signed a bunch of pictures for her and some CDs. And left us take pictures. Sadly she died in 98 she was only 38 years old I was 18. But we buried most of the stuff he gave her with her. All I know is that country music today doesn't come anywhere close to what it was then. That was the greatest generation of country artist. And I don't think there will ever be anyone close again.
Hi there! I fell n slipped on my deck! I have just gotten out of the hospital n recuperating..alittle dizzy right now from pain meds, etc.. Yeah love the music....just love it passionately..hope to hear from ya, again.

This was our wedding song 35 yrs ago. I lost the love of my life valentines day 2024. This will forever be my favorite song.
My husband would sing this to me I lost him 11 years ago and I'll see him again in Heaven
This is a audio book I've listened to and has given great Insight on what awaits us and perhaps you may find assurance as well.
Intra Muros - Chapter 16-17 // Rebecca Ruter Springer (Audiobook) fast forward to time stamp 13:30 and listen from there. The full audio book is really good take time and listen to a chapter each day. Upload to your phone plug in the earbuds and enjoy. You'll see what I'm talking about, it's truly Amazing!

@@Christopher-yd2uy we are now 50 and going strong.
I can picture my parents slow dancing to this song in our living room when I was a kid. They are both deceased now, so it makes me smile, but I am smiling through tears.
Hello 🖐️
Wow!! I remember mine doing the same!! I have such great memories of them listening to Alabama together and dancing
@@fredhonest1652 ciao Fred!🙋😍😘💘🍀
Such a great memory to have
Yeah and now I am to after reading your comment.
Karen Pagenkopf, Debbie Normandin
My favorite country music band to this day. This is how country music should sound.
ME TOO mmafIGHTER
MMAFighter38 my favorite band 2
Yes i agree with you sir
Today's so called Country artists need to take a few lessons from these guys.... Keep it simple.
Love the OAKS as well...
Today is mine & my husband's 38th wedding anniversary. This was our first dance song. It has always been our song. When we DJ a wedding, he always plays this song as his sound check : )
What happen to music like this? Forever gone!
there is a scarcely few with this talent.....but only a few
Yep
Yes it has , just sad!
The good ole country music is gone just like the best time of our lives 70s, 80s, and 90s gone like the wind.
🦋My favorite song back in the day. Gave me chills. Still Does🤘🦋
They surely don’t make music like this anymore, but I think they will again very soon. Maybe an album between Restless Heart and Alabama…
Hands down- best country love song ever written. Gets me in the feels every single time.

That's so sweet
I love my husband so much
I first saw these guys at Holiday Beach in Douglas Ga as a teenager in ?1980 or 81? Then in San Diego while serving in USN in 89. Cannot wait to see them again on April 1 with 7 great friends! I am not that crazy teenager any longer who stole a kiss from Randy Owens but their music took me around the world and back home to the true love of my life.
Hello there Debra nice meeting you here
New generation does not know how to make music like these guys did.
AMEN to that!

this was one of me and my beautiful wifes song. Sadly she passed yesterday 56 years young from demintia a battle we went thru together here at home for seven years. i will see her again someday. 35 years together ,never will be another like her. this song brings back great memories.
Alabama is one of the greatest groups of all time, in any kind of music, and Randy Owens is up there with George strait and Ronnie Dunn
What’s your favorite country music?
I was signing this yesterday and today it pops up on my iPad. Are you listening Google? One of my favorites forever. Missing you💕
Hey how are you doing..?😊
Their hair looks so clean and soft.

December 2023. Who wishes this is what country music still sounded like?
Amen March 24
Yes!! ❤
Amen!
Yes!
This is country music and still sounds as good . I don't wish for modern styles to sound like my boys I still honor the fact they'll always be country
I have loved this band the very first time I heard them. They were the first concert I went to. He has the sexiest controlled voice of any male vocalist imo. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ also best harmony’s!!!
Thank you so much for your love and support dearest.❤😊
I'm so deeply in love with the man on my dreams and now in my life. I can't wait to start our lives together. Thank you God for this beautiful union. Perfectly gentle with just the right amount of passion. I'm so in love with Him. Peace and Joy throughout this union. 🙏🏻♥️
Reminds me of being a child. My dad absolutely loved Alabama and Oakridge Boys. Two of the best harmonizing country groups of all time.
Who is listening 2024?

Perfect song
That is undoubtedly the truth your speaking they were red hot back in the day and still damn hot!
Before they got big, they used to come up to Champaign Illinois to play.
AMEN!! GOD BLESS!
Why can't country music still be this good in 2024?
You don't have decent people anymore in the music business, these young men were the best,. Let's go back way back....love y'all.....
Country pop is such trash…Nashville has lost its way and the poison of hip hop trying to infiltrate country music is a shame!!!
Too much technology
I agree with you
💛🖤💛🖤💚 chills down your spine
Going home from the Philippines soon.. moving to the bluegrass state.. home of mountain music, white lightni, and the heartbeat of America
THIS WAS MY HUSBANDS SONG TO ME HE PLAYED THE NIGHT WE WERE ON OUR HONEYMOON. HE HAS RECENTLY PASSED, 32 YEARS OF A WONDERFUL AND BLISSFUL MARRIAGE, WAS NOT ENOUGH FOR ME, BUT IT WAS NOT IN GOD'S PLAN. I MISS YOU MY BABE.😢
I thank God that I found me a God fearing woman. Every time this song comes on she sings it to me and I see the love in her eyes and all the fear just melts away her name is stella OMG I get chills just saying her name
Congratulations brother. Happy for you.
