Just seemed so extra special tonight after such a tough game for both sides. What a way to take this song back to Tennessee where it belongs.
I always look forward to hearing this at the Alabama football games. Its crazy to hear a packed out stadium singing this song with the Alabama added lyrics. LOL ROLL TIDE!!
Driving down the road the other day, I started singing this song even though I haven't heard it in years. I could still remember most of the words. When I was a late teenager, my friends and I would listen to Alabama, Oakridge Boys, Hank Williams Jr..... you get the idea. I drove a pickup truck of coarse. Still do. Then life got more complicated and confusing and I got into listening to heavy metal music which was never upbeat, more angry like I was I guess. But now 35 years later, my life is just about as fine as I could want it to be. So I looked up this song and have listened to it numerous times thinking about my younger days. The good days. Now I have to look up Green River!
I may be from Texas and I ain’t a Bama fan but i must say i visited Mobile and it’s one of the prettiest places i’ve been and gives a good welcoming home feeling
@@merykpropst8926 You'll want to stay in all the well lit areas in Mobile. Mobile ain't no place for a Texan to be. It is pretty though. It's not like it is here, in the SW. They've got some issues we don't have to contend with. We don't see these issues in Texas 'till about Dallas and then East. Texas was blessed, no doubt about it.
Even though I'm a suburban northerner born and raised, I belong in a small town in the south. I love the culture, the way of life, the people, the values, everything. I dream of listening to this song while driving down a southern country road in my Silverado with my girlfriend beside me, enjoying life without a care in the world, my definition of true happiness
I love the vocal harmonies. Music today needs progressions and harmonies like this. Particularly, country. It sickens me what mainstream country sounds like today. This song is a soothing balm.

Hello there Theresa nice meeting you here
My 3 year old daughter’s favorite song. Especially when that fiddle part hits.
Imma be blasting this tomorrow during the vols game
Bet you was surprised when they played it after the game. Sounded GREAT!!!
One of the best songs ever 😊
Hello how are you doing
I feel like a child, when I hear Alabama songs from the early eighties. It's such a nice feeling because time was still whole there.
I always look forward to hearing this at the Alabama football games. Its crazy to hear a packed out stadium singing this song with the Alabama added lyrics. LOL ROLL TIDE!!
If you know you know. If not go check out the videos on TH-cam of dixieland delight at Alabama Bryant Denny stadium
Nothing like Alabama fans singing a song about Tennessee 🍊
@@x7w6nothing like a team with 0 sec championships in the last 20 years trying to troll a team with the most sec championships. Roll tide
Didn't grow up in Tennessee, but this song makes me wanna live there every time I hear it! Boy this song brings back some memories!
One of my choices to retire. I need a place with old time, traditional values. This song takes me back to a good, safe place in America.
Maybe you felt the Vols were about to go hypersonic
I was born in 61. Around 76 or 77 went from rock & roll to country. To this day I still LOVE ALABAMA.
Their guitarist was super talented. 😎
Alabama Forever!!!
This makes me SO PROUD to be from "the south" of Alabama!!!

I may be from Texas and I ain’t a Bama fan but i must say i visited Mobile and it’s one of the prettiest places i’ve been and gives a good welcoming home feeling
Makes proud to a TENNESSEAN!!!!🧡
@@merykpropst8926 You'll want to stay in all the well lit areas in Mobile. Mobile ain't no place for a Texan to be. It is pretty though. It's not like it is here, in the SW. They've got some issues we don't have to contend with. We don't see these issues in Texas 'till about Dallas and then East. Texas was blessed, no doubt about it.

Hello from Oregon USA
Hello from North Florida!!!
You’re always welcome down here. Remember, people don’t work and save their whole life to retire and move up North. 😄
Sideways with my hand on her hooch
Plenty of us northerners drive our full size Chevy down a dirt backroad blasting Alabama and spitting chaw at the liberal cucks too hoss

@@chestrockwell1794 Idaho: Hey, I am from the south.... South of Canada that is!
I love the vocal harmonies. Music today needs progressions and harmonies like this. Particularly, country. It sickens me what mainstream country sounds like today. This song is a soothing balm.
Alabama was the shit growing up in 80s in KY. Thanks gents. Love you guys.
I followed this band in the 70’s growing up! They were the ‘BEST COUNTRY MUSIC BAND’ EVER!
Luv’d them ❤!
Thank you for the love and support you've been showing us the Alabama band over the years cheers🥂
Miss this type of Country Music! These were the ‘Good Ole Days’!
Country Music is not the same music anymore! Many of the new artist have lost their way!
