New handgun owner. Bought this model at a gun show and wanted to know how to safely shoot, tear down, and clean this gun. Thanks for the info and I’m very impressed at how Hi Point handled the problem!! Couldn’t ask for better service!!!! Keep up the good work!!
My brother is in love with his HP 9mm He SWEARS by it ... I swear AT it, as when I shoot it I can't hit the broad side of a barn from 1 foot away. ;) So to each his own I say. Would "I" trust my life to a HP? Not a chance! You get what you pay for is a saying, and is mostly true I believe. I think I'll stick to my S&W Shield, and both my Glocks (used to hate those too). Having said all that you buy what you feel you can afford, and are comfortable with shooting so good luck and stay safe all my shooting friends out there. Good luck with your channel, I subbed.
I bought my 380 used to shoot my ammo that the gun I owned back them that malfunctioned with 4 out of 5 brands of ammo. The Hi-Point has never disappointed me
I had trouble with my JXP10. Sent it back, came back in 3 weeks and its perfect now, no malfunctions. I'm a fan for life. I did not get a new mag with mine, but not upset. Its FIXED
The difference in ammo can also be the brand. Not all ammunition is created equal. Many guns can be picky about the brand of ammo used in it. Just my 60 years of experience telling me you haven't considered all the possibilities. Did enjoy the videos even though I would never buy a highpoint .
After a good break in these Hi Point's are fantastic except for the weight and the takedown. I personally carry the C9 because it's fun to clown the the Glock boy's. I own 5 C9's, gen2 JHP45, JXP10, and the 9mm carbine. Fun guns
I've bought 2 pawnshop Hi-Point models. C9 and JHP45. I found is since i don't have its history i have Hi-Point send me new firing pin springs and recoil spring. My C9 get shot a lot and it breaks the secondary firing pin spring and causes light primer strikes or no fire at all. I get new springs before i even shoot it. Because of the heavy slide these springs take a beating if used a lot

Another great video. Glad Hi-Point made it right on a second hand gun.

I haven't subscribed yet but I have been keeping an eye on your channel for a while. Glad to see an update on your hi point cf380
Oh and the new slide has different serrations than the one you sent in for warranty work, the safety lever is also a slightly different design.

Hi Point is a great company. With these heavy blowback pistols U must use the heaviest ammo for each caliber to minimize malfunctions.

My friend put a gun sleeve on,... balances the top heaviness.....
The rattle is the counterweight for the drop safety
Oh great to know! Thank you!
This gentleman is interesting to watch and sounds very knowledgeable. Interesting concept
Watch J Dalton videos he explains fixes for hipoints.
Good review. Not reliable. Get rid of it.
A high point will kill you
Wym not reliable 🤨
Good video the ammo is the problem most are not aware of !! The higher grain ammo is what that gun needs for a more reliable performance..

I'm definitely learning some brands are more reliable than others, regardless of grain!

Good advice for new owners! Take advantage of that warranty!
