Currently battling replacement of all three cables. With all new cables, I’m coming up about an inch short while trying to connect the equalizer to the front cable. This is what I get for buying a $500 truck
Wow! Great video. I snapped my cable on a 2007 Mazda b2300. I was going to take it to a shop, but I am going to take the time to do it myself. Thanks for the details
Tip, use a FISH TAPE to route your new cable, first go in through firewall to find your way down between the body and the plastic wheel well/ splash gaurd . tape a piece of insulated lamp cord or 12 gauge speaker wire to the FISH TAPE and pull this back into the cabin. Now cut the duct tape off of your wire/ lamp cord and Fish Tape. Set the fish tape aside and tape the brake cable sheath onto your wire/ lamp cord, do this after you have pulled retracted the steel cable flush with the plastic brake cable sheathing and pull this down through from beneath the truck. This guy in the video does a good job , but I found a work around , hope this helps, somebody.

My Preacher knows I'm swapping rear ends.
He suggested rolling the rear end forward!
He's a retired mechanic.
Is there a way to adjust the cable? Mine is loose after new front install.
I needed to know how to obtain slack.
As u did at the end.
I'll rewind/ not real sure how u did that
Great advice about the PIN to hold the gear in place
The cheapest & easy way to fix your brake hook a S hook on cable to frame, takes up slack.
Excellent!
Wow, I watched this whole video thinking it would show all the cables, then I realized it only said front cable 🤦
Actually this is a good video thanks . For sharing
