Great reactions! That shot with the HEAD SWALLOW is insane. Like, for a film with such a slow buildup, that's a hell of a climactic image to burn into our retinas. And props to that little girl for her EXPERT creep face in the final shot. :)
Yes! I love that they got a child actress who could communicate that she was possessed with just a facial expression, so they didn't have to do something corny like use effects to turn her eyes red.
I used to work as an in-home caregiver, and had quite a few clients with Alzheimer’s and yeah it’s a really monstrous disease. This movie really captures that horror in a way I’ve never quite seen done before, like the movie is clearly very sympathetic towards Deb’s deterioration as well as Sarah’s exhaustion with her caregiver status. Don’t get me wrong, most people with Alzheimer’s are not violent but they will sometimes lash out towards people or themselves and this movie does get a little silly but I love it regardless

My dad's grandmother had Alzheimer's disease and my mom's grandmother had Dementia. Both have died. I love both of them. But, I was able to watch and enjoy this horror film without being triggered.
It’s so extremely relatable; so many of us have seen mental deterioration up close and it is as horrific a thing as any imagined horror a person can go through. And very hard on the family/caregivers! And it’s all so well captured here, with the revelation of the demon almost offering catharsis. Like “oh good all we have to do is burn some remains to be free of this torture”. That’s why Deborah’s condition post exorcism is so devastating even while being true to the spirit of the film 😭

LOVE this movie because it features 3 strong female protagonists from different generations and I think thats rare, it just makes me love horror even more because of the stories we get to see
For me this movie hits a bit different. My grandma passed away from Alzheimer’s and by the end she was pretty much where Deborah was after being exorcised, meaning she was pretty much nonverbal and mentally distant. My grandma had the kindest most beautiful soul and heart and the sickness slowly extinguished her light. Seeing this movie, in a strange way, was therapeutic for me. The possession, for me, became almost symbolic for the disease (minus the supernaturally aspects), much like how the Babadook is symbolic of grief. I’ve seen this movie once and it was enough. It is extremely well made and I recognise my grandma in Deborah a lot, in several ways. I’ve seen many reviews/reaction videos of this movie since but I have no plans of actually rewatching it in any near future. what do you mean they don't shed their skin like a snake, spit venom and unhinge their jaw to swallow a child whole
I love this movie but I would have left a long time ago. The minute little Debbie started getting aggressive I would have my bags packed.
I swear your videos give me the serotonin I need to get through the upcoming week 😩😂💕
Not "speak Parcell Tongue" I am cracking up! An amazing reaction as always! Love you Girl.
Long time viewer first time commenter. I absolutely loved your reaction to this movie. You were terrified! Deborah Logan is such an underrated movie and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I love everything about, all the joy you bring to the world, and re-watch all the videos you upload multiple times. Like, A LOT!! My husband loves you too, but it usually takes him a minute to release I'm watching the same reaction for the 17th time. (This is part one for a reason...)
You are so funny and a lot of fun to watch, I love your content 😂
Another fantastic reaction, Alanda!! Every time I get to watch a new reaction from you, especially when it’s a horror reaction, I get such a high spike of serotonin & dopamine!! I hope you didn’t have severe nightmares because of this movie 😬 this movie was wild af & honestly so scary. It’s like the movie just kept getting more & more intense as time went on. Just when you think it can’t get any more stressful, it does lol. But thank you for reacting to this! I’m sorry it scared you so bad but I’m happy that you were able to appreciate what a well done movie it was! 😉☺️
Yes!!!! SO excited to watch your reaction! Much love 💜💜💜
Omfgggg I love you 😭😂😂😂 it’s always “y’all have to have to kill her, you have to there’s no other way” for meeeeee 😩😂 every time it starts getting way too chaotic you be ready for the ultimate way out & as you should 😭
It’s crucial to know one’s limits 😭🙏🏾
This film is so devastating and it rules so hard.
"I'm about to watch one bitch *suffer*" Love it, love everything about it.
You are Not alone on that reaction. i was gagging and screaming at like midnight. i was drinking with lil debbie too. much love stay safe
Your horror reactions are unparalleled, the best🙌👌👏, the commentary 🤣 I would never have thought that I could laugh so much watching anything to do with this this movie 😂
Poor Deb really went through it. 😅 The reactions in this are too good lmao.
Love your descriptive reactions....as a truck driver I really enjoy your videos because it makes me smile and laugh. Also, you're so attractive and that counts too. Love the natural girl girl. So glad I subscribed cause you reacted to so many good movies from my youth. The Last Dragon was CLASSIC. Thank you for your time
Omg, omg, yes! Thank you! Deborah really out here on a sunday.
This movie freaked the SHIT out of me!!!!!
Another great and hilarious reaction and always looking GORGEOUS!!!
Happy Pride 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈❤
The 13 minute mark had me like 🤣🤣🤣🤣. I look forward to Sundays with your videos!!
"don't let it drip into your eyeballs, it could be infectious!" 😂 I'm dead
I only recently stumbled on your channel. This is one of my favorite reactions you have done on a film that is HIGHLY underrated. I just want to say that your laugh is so contagious, and I can't wait for your next reaction video!
I have never seen this movie before and your reaction was the same as mine and I have had enough! Watching cartoons for the duration of my night lol
Love you Alanda, always going to plug an Evil Dead 2013 remake reaction.
Woke up at 5am to watch this!! 😳😳😳☠️☠️☠️😥😥😥 I could watch every movie with you 💕
When I tell you I'm cackling! You are wonderful!
1. The Martian
2. Clue
3. Taking of Deborah..movies that I haven't seen that Landi reacted to that made me go and watch on my own. Not a big fan of possession films but the subtlety of it was on point. This was a great film. Disturbing but great
omg this movie was so scary yet incredible and I literally couldn't have watched it without you! thank you!
LMAO the way you freak out before you even see the gore gurl😭 literally crying😭 sigh, love your videos, always making my day that much better💖
Never heard of this. Possession movies aren't usually my jam but I'll give it a shot. Surprised we aren't powering through the Fear Street trilogy since you watched the first one last week.
One of your best reactions yet. Possession movies aren't my cup of tea but I enjoyed it quite a bit, I think the ending could have been better, but I did laugh quite a few times, especially when homie left the house. 🤣
Your reviews are everything. You are such a light.
This is by far my favorite review that you have done so far I wish you would do saw two or dead silence I wonder if they made it to this one
