I’m so sad that Kaitlyn Dever, playing Abby, needed extra security during filming because she’s already having the same treatment from "fans" as the original voice actress from the game. Get a life, folks!
It sucks that these a-holes who are acting out of pocket attacking her don't have lives and can't be normal. They truly need to get out of their mommy and daddies basements and go touch grass instead of making a game their whole personality.
Completely agree with all of you! I totally get how someone could become an obsessive fan of this story, and even become so immersed that it starts to blur into reality... But threatening violence against the person who helped create the art that you love? That doesn't sound like a fan to me at all!

Ha ha ha, that's so true! Remember the days when one season (of 20+ episodes) would end in May, and we'd be like "Oh man, I need to wait until September for the next season!" And now it's two years between seasons, and we only get 8 or 10 episodes!!! C'mon!!!
Glad to hear ellie isnt friends with abby….i havent played games but things were spoiled for me and i was concerned ellie was in cahoots with abby, bc u know why.
Yes!!! Although, playing the game from both of their perspectives was absolutely wild (and incredibly emotional!) A lot of gamers really didn't like that decision at all!!! Will be super interesting to see how that translates to the show!

Which tells people that this character who is lightly featured in the trailer is actually incredibly important. Heaven forbid people actually get to be surprised by a TV show anymore. YOU got to be surprised by Abby in the game, but now you've robbed people of that secondary protagonist twist. Good job 🙄
