Happy almost Friday guys! For a vehicle that traces its lineage to a fancy version of the Ford Edge, the all-new Lincoln Nautilus has morphed into a world class midsize luxury SUV! We managed to snag both the Hybrid and Gas versions to test out in this video and both powertrains are well matched to this chassis, so there isn’t a wrong choice. But for just $1500 bucks, the Hybrid is an easy decision that will pay for itself in fuel savings pretty quickly. Expect us to get one of these together with the latest Lexus RX hybrid soon for a detailed comparison test! 🙌
Can u guys make case for improving security of these vehicles? It takes less than a minute to hack, unlock and steal these vehicles which is not fair considering the amount of money customers are paying. Great review though , keep it up.
@@joelcleare The version shown in the video looked to be the Black Label trim series, which gets up there in price. Lower trim series start around $50k and go up from there.
This is a gorgeous vehicle but not 80k gorgeous. My opinion this vehicle should be 65k black label tops! It's not only this vehicle but cars in general. Depreciation on these cars are a testimony that the cost is absolutely ridiculous. I have only bought one used car while in college. But watching prices go up since the pandemic I just can't do no matter how beautiful.
Agree. WAY too expensive. The Nautilus should top out at $65 - $70,000. I bought a '20 CPO Aviator Black Label 6 months ago. It had 31,000 on the odo and I paid $50,500. The MSRP was $82,000 (which Lincoln incredibly raised to $87,000 for 2024 just to put some distance between the Aviator and the Nautilus!).
Exactly...but I see a correction on new car price model coming down in the months to come. If you have the time...wait this and all others out. Dealers are in a over supply position. In the end, you have to have a much stronger powertrain for an 80k+ sticker.
Really nice review Sofyan; you always do such a great job with your reviews. Lincoln is really on a roll lately. This Nautilus is an elegant and beautiful SUV that I’ll include on my shopping list. Love it!
I bought a hybrid Reserve 3 about a month ago. My first impression is that Lincoln is offering a relatively low price for the value in order to gain market share. I am a long time Honda fan who traded in a 2019 Acura RDX for this car. I am commenting on this video because I REALLY like Sofyan's honest reviews. My neighbor said the styling is futuristic; I think it will age very well. I especially like the the door handle integration; I see cars that have door handles that pop out and this solution is is way more "organic". The steering wheel shape is completely fine; different but comfortable. The display is very useful. I thought I had to have a heads up display in any future vehicle but this is actually better. The map so high in the display is brilliant. I am an old guy who plays in a band and the cargo capacity is great. The fact that the rear seats can slide back and forth is a nice touch. I am somewhat of an audio snob (full disclosure, I spent my career working for Harman as a design engineer and still own two home Revel systems) and the sound system is quite excellent. All is not perfect. The mechanical brakes get noisy in the last five feet of stops (I'll mention that in my first dealer visit). I am looking forward to my road trip from Utah to the Austin MotoGP race in a couple of weeks.
The Aviation design language flows throughout really well! The cabin has a private jet or personal craft intention to it; From the driver”s seat, it has the feel/ look of a flight cockpit . Well done Lincoln!
That is a nice looking SUV . . front and rear . . and recently, I usually haven't been saying that. I'm never going to be a fan of the large, oddly shaped grills ( Lexus-Toyota especially ) that these manufacturers are giving us these days. Also . . Rob is really getting good at making the videos, smooth movements and zooming in and out in perfect timing is VERY rare in these vehicle review TH-cam videos - you two are the best, by far !!! ( . . and I should know - I watch them almost every day )👍
Wow! Finally!! An SUV that can compete with the Germans and the Japanese when it comes to interior, exterior design. You can see the Chinese influence in the design language. Definitely by far the nicest interior on an American vehicle ever put on the road. Has Cadillac beat by miles with their cheap plastic Chevrolet interiors.
Did Soyan really just complain that the center sceeen is too small, when there is a frickin' IMAX screen underneath the windshield!?!? That is beyond ridiculous. No wonder our insurance premiums keep skyrocketing every year.
Nothing to do with insurance premiums... There are far more expensive parts on this car versus the center infotainment screen. But as a reminder the old 2023 Nautilus had a 13.2" touch screen that you interacted with. Not surprised it’s made in China. I was in China couple of months ago and they do love their screens. If the car has no screen then a phone is mounted. I bet this vehicle is quite popular there
For the 3 spots to put info, I'm a little disappointed with the choices. I don't see any reason to constantly display either trip info or the fuel economy or the tire pressure. That purple 💜. New Union contracts (Ford)= increased prices. The New Rivian R2 will out sell if they dont get crazy with the sticker price.
Would really help if you stopped saying "OK Google" or "Alexa" out loud in your videos lol 😂
That center screen looks outdated as the bezels are too big. Takes away from the great big screen under the dashboard.
I have an idea let’s copy Mazda since they’re so popular..lol
I hope they make a higher horsepower “special edition” of this vehicle. That’s all it needs. More power.
Fort is woke. If they get an unwed CEO the eco-boost will be in this thing in a second.
Love the exterior and mpg specs...but the horizontal LED light "movement" on the front-end overwhelms the vehicle's thin amber turn-signal.
I would deactivate that feature OR slow it down...Failing that, I would not by a Nautilus.
What a sweet ride to drive off the gorgeous cliff of horrible resale value.
