I mean, I was one of the few people that enjoyed the back and forth plot with desmond in the present rebelling against a abstergo. Made the collectibles like the apples of eden a lot cooler and made it feel more worth it to seek out all the hidden extras. Additionally, AC2 and Brotherhood&Revelations come together as a very nice arc for Ezio as a character since he goes through so much and you get to see him grow older. To a lot of people that I've seen discussing older AC, it's a toss-up between Brotherhood and Black Flag for the best. I might be just nostalgic for it but the original 2 has such a nice charm to it, I especially enjoy that you don't *immediately* unlock the place that serves as your *hub* (the villa) and it takes a little while to be introduced to all the extra stuff that you can do as side content. I feel like after 2, the series was always in a rush to give you the place where you have to gather all your collectibles and take care of everything and what not. One of the main reasons I bounced off AC3 so hard was because right after getting to where you play as Connor you unlock the Homestead and it was just so overwhelming all at once. I'm rambling a ton here but, I guess my main point is that AC2 is paced incredibly well and that's why it's my favorite and the one I like replaying the most.

I'm sorry, a $50 AAA title? Interesting. I somehow don't have much hopes for this game, but Ubisoft somehow manages to surprise me. Let's hope they'll do it again
After watching the previous sponsored video about some magic FPS game (I don't even remember the name...) I kinda get skeptical each time some game shows up as sponsored, since more often than not it turns out to be boring and bland... Then again, we are talking about the future Assassin's Creed games here.
graphically seems a bit washed, no much lighting effects, reflections and the vibrant colours of the trailer, seems to me even a downgrade from Valhalla
This is going to be the first video of yours I absolutely don't want to watch - but it's not at all because of you. I love Assassins Creed, and want to go into this game as blindly as I can manage! BUT, I wanted to leave this comment anyway, both so the TH-cam gods are happy, and to let you know I still like this style of video.
yeah so not playing any of the recent titles seems to have kind of shot you in the foot here honestly, since this seems to start somewhat in the early-middle of the game that means you likely didn't get all of the movement tutorials, like how when basim is climbing and he seems to not exactly be going the direction you want him to go, which was a significant portion of the video, it's because you weren't telling him to go up or down so he's just going to the nearest, though ttypically it's Y/triangle for up i believe and B/circle for down, which makes problems like you're having disappear completely, would HIGHLY suggest trying the game again later with these in mind
So when they said "They are returning to their roots" they completely lied? No surprise. It's copy and paste Origins. You can even see a load of models, textures, maps, MLOs etc that are straight from Origins. Gameplay mechanics are the exact same. Boring. Not so much about free running. More about Darksouls combat which is cringe. They are just doing what COD are doing. Selling the same game with a few tweaks.
It looks like a perfectly passable Assassin's Creed game. Unfortunately, like the recent Saint's Row reboot, we're all tapped out of 2006/2007 nostalgia, and we want NEW games instead of OLD games.
the assanin's creed games had pretty standalone stories for a while with no prerequisite catching up to do on the player's part, but from how i understand it its different this time? the ones that come to mind are the few i played: unity syndicate and odyssey
Pretty sure the ancient story is stand alone given it's the earliest in the timeline. As far as modern day story, who knows? Haven't paid attention to that since AC 3
Stoped playing AC games after Black Flag, Due to Collage eating my time. When I checked back in with Odssey, I was like 'The Hell, they killed my game'. AC games should not be open world loot-a-thons.
"you can use light and heavy attacks on any foe" as opposed to other games, where light and heavy attacks are not allowed to be performed based on the enemy??
I feel like the assassin focus is a ripoff from Talions ability from Shadow of Mordor/War... Mirage looks dope tho but yeah Lemon is right the assassin focus looks... not 'realistic' or as fancy compared to when you do those successive assassinations yourself.
Its a shame its a Ubisoft game because it looks the way I always wanted AC1 to look. Also, just me that dislikes the flashing yellow and red enemies? Just put a small symbol above them, nothing breaks immersion like an enemy lighting up like it's June all of a sudden.
I dont appreciate the floating rats and clipping through walls.... AC oddyssey may have been a more of an RPG warrior based AC game but at least it looked amazing and you have a choice of stealth. The only thing about Mirage is litteraly Baghdad. I understand getting Baghdad 9th century right, but then you let everything else go to shit? Melee combat is awful.. animations are cruddy, the story is meh.... the details are kinda of shitty other than the structure of Baghdad. They could have also brought it back to its roots without taking out the different weapons like in origins and odyssey. I loved the mercenary system as well in origins and oddyssey. Mounts are not fun to ride and horses look like midgets in this game...Enemies are stupid and oblivious to assasinations around them. Parkour seems slow qnd sticky and we are back to the problem of our character jumping off of a high place into hey bales when we are just trying to climb up. Ive only had the game a few days and im already bored of the combat system. Dont know why asking them to go back to their roots means neglecting all the other details. I also dont understand people who didnt like Origins and Oddyssey. I understand it gave you the options to be more of a warrior than a stealthy assassin but you actually uad a choice in those games compared to just assasinating everyone with the hidden blade, it gets old fast.

Wish he played unity and it’s parkour system I feel he would love it!
Lol, good video, I wasn't even aware they have a new game.
Ok, so we're playing Shadows of Mordor mixed with Assassins creed 3.
Yeah yeah, but can you OHKO every boss?
Hey, is that bush whistling?
and bleeding...?
and where did everyone go?
I'd better investigate!
Kinda looks like a step backwards from Valhalla and closer to Odyssey again
Weird
That poor poor gondola ferryman!
I'm still withholding my hope.
yeah so not playing any of the recent titles seems to have kind of shot you in the foot here honestly, since this seems to start somewhat in the early-middle of the game that means you likely didn't get all of the movement tutorials, like how when basim is climbing and he seems to not exactly be going the direction you want him to go, which was a significant portion of the video, it's because you weren't telling him to go up or down so he's just going to the nearest, though ttypically it's Y/triangle for up i believe and B/circle for down, which makes problems like you're having disappear completely, would HIGHLY suggest trying the game again later with these in mind
Poor Lemon had to play a newer Assassin's Creed game. I pity you.
Can You Beat: Assassin's Creed odyssey with only the torch?
Hey lemon... you should try baldurs gate 3 explosives only... it should be doable...
I hope this channel doesn't become a review channel, where's our Xcom 2 challenge runs you promised????
the kid jumping was hytham
the assanin's creed games had pretty standalone stories for a while with no prerequisite catching up to do on the player's part, but from how i understand it its different this time?
the ones that come to mind are the few i played: unity syndicate and odyssey
Pretty sure the ancient story is stand alone given it's the earliest in the timeline. As far as modern day story, who knows? Haven't paid attention to that since AC 3
Nah there’s a n overarching story Ac1-3 is a whole arc Ac4-syndicate is a whole arc and Ac Origins to Valhalla reconnects to the original arch
So it's the same old AssCred from yesteryear, with a somewhat new skin stretched over the old bones...
I forgot AssCree was a spiritual successor to PoP. Guess having a million games in a series will do that.
please do not preorder games, particularly from AAA developers like ubisoft
Already halfway through the video and it sounds exactly like the previous AC games...
Stoped playing AC games after Black Flag, Due to Collage eating my time. When I checked back in with Odssey, I was like 'The Hell, they killed my game'. AC games should not be open world loot-a-thons.
END Assassin's Creed without assassinating anyone
The assassinations dont have alot of impact, i hope the iron that out.
Hopefully they got hand to hand combat like ac3
The bloodborne live will become a video?
Amazing
"you can use light and heavy attacks on any foe" as opposed to other games, where light and heavy attacks are not allowed to be performed based on the enemy??
I loved Valhalla because it DIDN'T feel like an Assassin's Creed game. 😂
I feel like the assassin focus is a ripoff from Talions ability from Shadow of Mordor/War... Mirage looks dope tho but yeah Lemon is right the assassin focus looks... not 'realistic' or as fancy compared to when you do those successive assassinations yourself.
Gotta replay the two games, really fun combat
Played ODYSSEY 3000h😂😂😂...
Two minutes into the video and the locales look identical to Odyssey and Origins. That doesn’t bode well.
The chest stabbing is way too much when finishing enemies
