You’ve mastered the art of the simple fix. It would be real nice to bore and bush everything back to spec but it’s practical to make the extent of the repair line up with the value of the repaired. You’ll probably get 10 years out of her now so good job. 🤠👍👀✅
Since you went thru all the trouble to replace the zerk, why didn't you place the new zerk toward the top of the tube and another zerk toward the bottom of the tube? That is where all the wear is.
Never gave it much thought I just have it raised up in the air when I grease it and give it a spin... You can only polish a turd so much the tired old girl was probably not worth the TLC I gave her...

Mowers cut best down slightly in the front. The front part of blade circle cuts and rear recuts. Less hp needed.
