Hey! Game dev here, i enjoyed a lot watching you play! Very fun and entertaining video.
So close, too.. just 3 Hp and you would have got him, or the bleed!
Very interesting bleeding build going on, loved it.
Thank you for the feedback, I am really glad you enjoyed it!
Ps: You can move cramps that are given to you from enemy stuns! Sprinting locks them in place but anything before that is fair play!
Awesome stuff you’ve got here, excited to see where it goes next
After seeing many runs now, this was the most unique.❤
The visuals of this game look so good! How many people on your dev team and is there somewhere I can follow progress?
You’re only 24? Thought you were older than me 😅.
I’m 25 but yup haha
We're getting old... 😆

Seeing the skipped free healing hurt my soul
One of the core mechanics of Rock Paper Scissors, Draws.
Olexa: Time to use a cramp since I'm not winning
You do have to balance not keeping only cramps in your hand though. That just makes your future turns even worse
A friend and I made a demo of a Tic Tac Toe deckbuilding roguelite (it isn't a roguelike, the game gets easier every time you die and you keep your deck between runs. It IS intended to be "beaten", but you can always delete the file from the menu as well). It's called Trick Stack Attack and is on itch if anyone is interested, but you should know that the game is HORRIBLY unbalanced and doesn't have a very good tutorial due to being made for a 14 day game jam, but if you want to give it a shot then I'd recommend playing further than at least the first few deaths, and make sure to organize your deck, it IS a deckbuilder after all, not all cards are useful.
Could've survived if you oucked the free 5 hp heal at the loot
I've been imagining a rock paper scissors card game ever since I played Slay the Spire when it came out.
You might notice this later but the dots in the shop show how many of your reward tokens it costs, and there is at least one point that the health potion was free which would help a lot 😊
Not only do the dots on the reward screen show you how much each reward costs. Also the item you said you needed help understanding, the one that debuffed you, had an empty circle as the cost because accepting the debuff lets you pick another reward.
I was wondering when you were being hit by the Cramps inflicted by enemies: Can you move the generated Cramps? Before Sprinting, of course. Maybe that would've saved you in that last turn, but then again I don't know.
Looks good, though! A bit too much movement on the screen for me, but if there's something in the option to ease them a little I might give it a shot in the future :)
You can, the dev left a comment on here talking about it
tried this out took a few trys but i beat the second boss semi by accident I ended up stacking a lot of giving weakness and gaining courage as well as some stuff that did damage (that can't be fucking reflected) when I did one of the two getting it to chain and slowly wittle him away while mostly trying to parry
I feel like at this point there is a rougelike for absolutely everything
were with low HP, also: free 10 HP and he didnt get it 🫠
olexa has some troubles with reading, but we love him anyway
Missed opportunity to call the characters R(h?)o, Sham(m), and Bo (for the character you played)
what does that mean

Its official weve officialy seenit all for real this time in terms of roguelikes
What about tic tac toe
@@ryanbaker2762
I am actually making one 😊
@@ryanbaker2762 no man not everything needs to be a roguelike 😭
Especially when a lot of them don't even evolve the original concept
@@StarchieHalo lol I was just saying that cuz rock paper scissors is already an idea that seems far fetched
@@ryanbaker2762some dev in the comments just dropped their free game which is a rogue-lite tic tac toe so close enough
“Wholesome” three naked peopleat the intro lol
Another way to have read the "Sweet Protein salad" would have been:
+2 scissors
+2 paper
+1 Rock
Idk if u tried it at any point but I'm pretty sure you can move that stun inherited cramp from the first position and it might have saved u in the corrupted king frog fight. You just happened to sprint immediately and that is what locked it. Also the runes that only have negative effects, judging by the symbol below it (one at 22:32) , I think they would give you an extra loot slot without consuming one. Allowing you to take 4 loot instead of 3 at the cost of a negative effect.
that cramps give regen hard countering the warlock because you could just constantly get 2 Regen every turn only taking 3 damage until they naturally scale if even because it doesn’t seem like that boss scales
i live for your videos they always make me smile and find lil hidden gems
I was programming one of these (but with 5 elements to fight with instead of 3 like RPS) a year ago, but focused too much on school to finish it. Glad someone else made it instead
Nice video, hey did you try zet zillions?
Not yet, still in my backlog to check out
olexa not looking at the costs of items in shop pains me
This looks goofy af but maybe it's good
Fufu the Bandit has someone hand in his hand its good you won or you would be gone
have you ever heard of cogmind ?
Finally Something to Watch : )
Man the devs are ui blind putting the sprint button there 😂 it should be the bottom left of your current hand. The current layout story, is pick cards, place cards then right after you placed them you are confronted with sprint, when it should be confirm
Anyone seen Animal World? It's like proto-Squid Game but they only play Rock, Paper, Scissors. It has deck building mechanics, game theory and permadeath... in the film.
There's a mobile roguelite called endless wave survival. It's pretty neat, has no tutorial, but kinda easy to pick up.
'-'👍lol
You’re 24 !!
I’m 24 in July on the 19th
25*
Although its not a roguelike, I would like to see you play the Big Boy Boxing demo
Play the deck building rouge like. And no, it has nothing to do with cards
1 loot point is not even remotely close to "lose 2 damage on everything"
You should re-read the tutorial after playing a match or two, you missed a trick in parrying(playing the same as the opponent so it's a draw).
There were a few times you chose to lose when parrying was a much better choice, especially against the thief(who would have stolen the useless cramp card).
I mean we definitely played for draws this entire video? It’s just that half the enemies still won on draws
@@OlexaYT bruh if you matched the color you would take no damage. you read it in the beginning.
Again, there were multiple enemies that have extra text that says “if you draw, they treat it as a win”. Please… I’m begging… just watch the video
@@OlexaYT2 out of the 7 enemies you fought had it.
And we used draws against 5 of the 7 enemies we fought
Did the dude really spend so much time on first fight just elaborating how this scissors card is cool but wouldn't win against the rock and how the paper is the way to go? Legit feels like for 5 years old content :D I'm not a hater I just got frustrated how dumbed down it felt
I mean it’s more complex than you made it sound. We gain benefit from playing the scissors card, a lot of benefit, but it depends on what you value more
16:56 - I did, with my brother. Core memory unlocked!
Yooo! Shrek SuperSlam was such a goated game
kinda wanna see you try hades 2
We did a two episode series, I don’t really like the game and it performed horribly for views haha
@OlexaYT oh ooft that's kinda sad to hear it's like one of my favorites haha and I should probably deep dive to see what ya already did
Clearly stone is way too overpowered.
paper ran wild my first and only run
