My favourite vids are the ones of flights on small airlines you don’t hear about often to remote small towns like the recent Canadian trip or the one trip in USA where the random gramps drove you to the airport in his pickup. Shows there’s still great people in this world instead of how the world is portrayed on the tube these days.

Always really enjoy watching your videos. I used to love to travel and fly as well, but these days im on Dialysis so youtube kind of helps fill the void. You're my favourite AV Channel, because you cover everything. I gave up on Sam Chui as it was just him showing off all the free stuff he gets, and that doesnt interest me one bit as it looks too corporate. I love all the weird and wonderful random things you cover like the one to Nebraska and it was just a small town with lovely people. You dont get to see that! Or the Ferry lockdown video where you went through the full mini bar! We've all done it! Keep up the great work. We all really appreciate it.

  • @Bearleena

Lovely vid, really appreciate the transparency. You’re my favourite aviation TH-camr because you manage to be so nice while also ruthlessly honest about a product.
About the economy versus business flights: I suppose it depends whether most viewers are after concrete info they can use for booking their own trips or are armchair travellers indulging in wishful thinking. You certainly have more economy flights than most av-geeks.
The one thing I would really appreciate: fewer lounges on the priority pass and more info about what the airport provides for the hoi polloi: is there free wi-fi access, and for how long, are there lots of phone charging facilities, plenty of seating, is ANY of it comfy, how much of a choice is there for food‘n‘drink, are ppx on budget airlines shoved off to a rubbish part of the airport that looks like a rickety shed? It’s so difficult finding honest opinions of things like that. Maybe you could do an hour in the lounge and an hour checking out the terminal as a whole. I appreciate that queuing up at a chain coffee shop and paying for an overpriced latte is less fun than making the most of an all-inclusive lounge, but I‘m sure you don‘t mind making that sacrifice :-)

Noel, you absolutely nailed this, but lets keep it simple - you're a nice guy who everyone can relate to, everyone who watches you is fine with adverts or sponsors because you're an honest and open person. I quite often watch your vids just to chill out and feel like I'm on the trip with you. Case closed, well done.

I imagine one of the other reasons you do so few economy class videos is that it's just so difficult in a cramped window seat to film properly without disturbing your seat mates or making them suspicious of your motives. I always feel so self conscious when filming my take-offs and landings with a stranger sat six inches away, pretending NOT to be watching everything I'm doing. It's a shame that top quality smart phones and go-pros came along just at the time when most people seem to have become totally desensitized to the thrill of tearing down a runway at 170kts!

q1: he pays for his own flight, rarely accepts free seats
q2: how did he get started? he worked in IT and started filming flights. now hes a full time youtuber.
q3: why never economy? he does, there are multiple economy flights, he doesnt film them all.
    q4: hes not always traveling
q5: how can he afford? hes not a millionaire, hes got companies that do money laundering that he has to maintain and he flies on the company expense. the companies make money from ads-- 80%. 20% sponsorship.

Noel , why don’t you call?😅Seriously I commented on your attempt at the US cross country train trip and relayed my experiences as a young kid and then later by bus for fun and college. Anyway , we love you and this episode was fascinating. It not only was a treat but what we adore about you is your “ authenticity “ and decency! Any video you do would never bore us and many I know would agree it’s always “ good” to see our friend Noel . Please give a shout and go on twitter. That would be cool too. My best to you ; your wife and family. If you ever need help or get to Philly coffee would be nice! How about something here the birthplace of America and the first capital. Take care💜
