Great, honest and humble review Neevesy. Thank you. As someone who has a very similar racing experience and about the same age and dimensions. I’ve heard several “riders” talking about how much this slide control will help them on the streets. I’ve simply added that only 0.00001% of riders would be getting close to using it on track days, let alone street riding. I raced against both Troy’s (Corser and Bayliss) and in a race being out breaker into a corner and seeing the first of the two back it in corner after corner was something above my level of abilities. Keep up the great work. 👍😎🇦🇺
Don't spoil the fantasy. For 99.9% of riders (myself included) It's about believing that you could, if you wanted. BMW couldn't sell the bike without dreamers.
So is slide control all about “backing it in” to corners? I thought it was meant for “controlling the slide” under acceleration out of corners? Zack from Revzillas Daily Rider channel tests “backing it in” on everything from scooters to V4 Panigale’s 🤔
Just rode one of these at the California Superbike School. I'm getting old and far from the world's best rider, but this thing made me feel like a hero. I was nervous for the first few laps, but this is so easy to ride.

I'd rather have lectronics than highside or lowside. It also saves your bike from wasting power tearing up your tires on road and on track. Once Im upgrading from my 600, I think the beemer will be first choice.

Great video. Neevesy is just the best. As much as I applaud, appreciate and am in awe of the engineering, I just don't understand the obsession with this class of motorcycles. You mean heated seat is not an option? Great info. Thank you. Quick question: Any "Panigale like" heat issues with the S1000RR? A bit about me: Had a Panigale 959 and Monster 1200R simultaneously. Seams like the S1000RR is a more suitable choice for predominantly street riding than a Pani V4S and better value, even with all the bells and whistles added to the M package. Your opinion?
I went from a 1200R to a S1000RR 2022, and the heat is an issue since there are less fairings and no exhaust under the seat. the pick was between pani v4s or s1krr and I don't regret my decision :) perhaps sometimes I wish there was more exhaust sound in the lower rev range. But the smoothness, price and cruise control was the dealbreaker.

Any BMW owners have problems with the current generation with buziness? My Gen 5 ZX10 didn’t buzz at all but I rode a friends previous Gen S1K and my whole right side was numb.
Lovely looking bike and I'm sure it pulls like a jet - but is there still that vibration? The current bike is good for about 40 minutes then you have to get off...even with weighted bar ends! If so....I'll buy a Harley...ha! The Blade is butter compared to it....and yes I own a RR! But won't buy another one again unless the vibration issue is fixed.....
I bought a 2020 model and completely agree that the bike makes you a better rider. It is so smooth and seemingly easy to ride that it naturally instills rider confidence. Hey Neevsy!…was that your elbow I saw touching the tarmac?!?!
My main thing is the BMW is an awesome track bike but the fact of the matter is is that BMW wasn't trying to build the ultimate track bike it was kind of a mix between the two to make the ultimate street bike for the average man to use so people that say it's docile or it's a dad's bike well yeah I'm like 50 years old I'm all for it
How long does it take a guy to figure out all those electronic settings? I'm currently on a 2000 ZX-9R, and that's about as analog as a proper sport bike gets....
I went into local BMW. It’s the same if you go online to view/order a new BMW BIKE. LOTS OF BITS ARENOW OPTIONAL EXTRAS. Unfortunetly this vid didn’t make that clear. Heated grips, Cruise control, etc etc are extras for 2023
Now the S1000RR 2015 is becoming cheaper. I want MCN to review older models as wel. Definitely comparison between 2015 model and 2023. I don't want to waste 23k while i could use a fraction of it capabilities.
The question is; why can’t this brand win in WSBK? Yes, some parts get changed out, bored down and on and on. Will things be different this year? Can Redding and Gerloff make a change?
As I watch this I can’t help but think, all the power and wizzbang tech, but I would still much rather ride my KTM SMC690R. I’m 45, been riding for 20+ and I gave up on the endless power for endless fun
Where in the UK road network can you use this machine anywhere near it's potential? Any bike with "wings" is only going to assist on a track, therefore all it will do for most riders is increase the cost of repairs when you chuck it down the road(& insurance is already prohibative for a sports bike unless you're old enough to have a bus pass, in which case you collect your pension via bus) That said, I'd love to own this bike & see how it's electronics assist me in avoiding the potholes/speed cushions that litter the UK's roads.:D
there are highways in the UK. plenty of places in the UK to actually ride it hard. and the winglets help everyone as they help you accelerate in the straights to

The best bike in the world after experience
Been the best 1000 sport bike since it cam out.
Good review 👍👍👍
Great review as usual 👍🇮🇪🇮🇪
BMW should be sending Neevesy on an "All expenses paid" trip to Hawaii as thanks for this glowing review.....
My main thing is the BMW is an awesome track bike but the fact of the matter is is that BMW wasn't trying to build the ultimate track bike it was kind of a mix between the two to make the ultimate street bike for the average man to use so people that say it's docile or it's a dad's bike well yeah I'm like 50 years old I'm all for it
Good review.
Heated grips, Cruise control, etc etc are extras for 2023
Biggest question I have is can I use race pro and link my phone? My 2020 won’t let me
the nissin calipers aren`t new tho. the 2022 has them. as does the m1000rr. carbon wheels are standard?
Neevsey should have been our prime minister - what a guy! Mash Allah
Neevesy is the GOAT🐐
if Mike could not get that thing to drift, no chance, I'll be able to do it.. that'll tear my head right off!
Words of wisdom on the RR 👍
Wait, has this just done in my SP2? 😮🙈😂 Great review as always. 👍 Can’t wait to see the M review…
this video is making me want to upgrade already hahaha
Will catalytic converters get bigger and bigger until they cook a rear tyre?
the cat is just there for looks. you are suppose to remove it when you get home
Even the original was easy to ride. Still wickedly fast.
AWESOME AMAZING VIDEO GREAT ! ! ! ! ! ! !
Did he take a dig at Baron on 44teeth @ 2:00 ?😉😉
Hello can you deliver motorcycle to kenya
The paintwork looks much cheaper!? Is it??
If you brake with front, where does downforce comes from? You loose spped not get more of it...
Iimiting the torque in lower gears is traction control ...
Again I'll reiterate that it is the ultimate street bike / race track bike after the fact
How long does a 1000cc motorcycle last? When we are talking about this bike here (s1000rr 2023) can we make 60k or 90k km with this bikes ?
Yes definitely
As I watch this I can’t help but think, all the power and wizzbang tech, but I would still much rather ride my KTM SMC690R. I’m 45, been riding for 20+ and I gave up on the endless power for endless fun
Why not have both
I see BMW and I scroll on
All I heard was, "In conclusion, this is almost as good as an R1" 😜.
Ah yes, if only I had the "extra" $20,000 or so to spend on a new bike..... 😃👍❤️🏍
You liked it then.
Bmw did it finally 🙌
My Word
Sounds like a bike to last a lifetime.
Why do BMW purposely incorporate flex into the frame while everyone else makes their frame X % stiffer with each iteration?
Where in the UK road network can you use this machine anywhere near it's potential? Any bike with "wings" is only going to assist on a track, therefore all it will do for most riders is increase the cost of repairs when you chuck it down the road(& insurance is already prohibative for a sports bike unless you're old enough to have a bus pass, in which case you collect your pension via bus) That said, I'd love to own this bike & see how it's electronics assist me in avoiding the potholes/speed cushions that litter the UK's roads.:D
there are highways in the UK. plenty of places in the UK to actually ride it hard. and the winglets help everyone as they help you accelerate in the straights to
This is basically the case for any sporty bike with >100hp that can push 130+ mph. Buy what you like.
yep, superb machine, but of course mainly dedicated to track riding... totally inedequate for road riding unless one wants to prepare for the TT...🤣
Its more versatile than an r1 for commuting
I really would like to thank you for your review....I have a 22 s 1000 rr m carbon with a pipe, air filter, thru rod ktech... on and on... The bike is the biggest pain in the ass ever!!! I will NEVER buy a bmw again... bmw hates people that buy their bikes....I'm serious.
Not reliable? Bad customer service?
Keen to known your experience.
@@whitevador8875 I would be happy to explain my bike and my experience with it to you, but with one caveat. And that is, how does someone like yourself having been on TH-cam for almost three years have no content in your profile? I'm so curious to know what the benefit of this is?
@@davidciesielski8251 I’m just a dude who has an r6 and wants to upgrade. Tested the S1000RR for a weekend during a bmw event organized by the dealer close to my town, I liked the bike. Thing is that I don’t come across people having problems. Everyone says the bike is amazing. I want to hear the other story.
If you want to reply I’ll be glad. If you care more about my profile then I don’t know what to reply.
I mainly use mine to get burgers for lunch 🤣
If Neevsey say its good then take my money. 😊
Time to change your mic settings
I already splashed out big bucks on a 2021 S1000RR m pack so im out on this one. I know its great an all but could they not have put a bit more livery on it - its too white and that RR on the left side of the nose makes it lack symmetry from the front. Then there's that horrible chin. Well I knew it would be hard to improve the looks from the K67 so anything new was bound to be a bit of a disappointment.
