The original Crash was in London late 60s / early 70s; those are very rare…also, they are larger - 42mm long, I think
Lot 808 - also particularly interesting because was commissioned for HW by Max Busser , founder of MB&F
Great video Federico for Gentlemans gazzette. Agree with you in everything but mostly on tissot prx and breguet watches as I use to sell the later one!
lot 968, the "Newman-Daytona" disappeared! no explanation at all
Frankenwatch, most likely
Sorry to hijack the thread
May I ask for some assistance from you and your learned community
My daughter in law has inherited her late grandfathers watch
He was a wartime pilot
And was gifted a solid gold Omega De Ville by his parents on his 21st birthday
In 1939
The watch and bracelet are both hallmarked and there is a box , papers dont think so.
She has no intentions of parting with it but would dearly like to find out more
It was recently serviced
In Glasgow
Any help would be appreciated
PS he was 96 when he passed
I’m pretty sure Artisans de Geneve offer a service to artificially age dials under the sun in the Caribbean 😂 seriously!
That's the Opus designed by Max Busser and Tbe people from uwerk.
Lot 885; I own one, it wears very, very small. But who cares?
guys pls dont forget the fees and taxes, somewhere ard 30%+
Lot 832 - it actually is a monopusher. One pusher for start, stop, reset. The crown mounted button runs the split seconds complication
Great show as always.
Shorthand to gross up from hammer price in HKD to USD is to increase by 50%
Hello
9:05 look at that piece. So fun.
50:20 "unfortunately people only want to buy the name today." Don't generalize that brother. The watch world always was divided in status seekers and aesthetics-admirers. The IDcrowd is the latter for what I can see.
Great show as always. Missed it live but rewatched most of it. Have a good weekend, my man!
