The original Crash was in London late 60s / early 70s; those are very rare…also, they are larger - 42mm long, I think

May I ask for some assistance from you and your learned community
My daughter in law has inherited her late grandfathers watch
He was a wartime pilot
And was gifted a solid gold Omega De Ville by his parents on his 21st birthday
In 1939
The watch and bracelet are both hallmarked and there is a box , papers dont think so.
She has no intentions of parting with it but would dearly like to find out more
It was recently serviced
In Glasgow
Any help would be appreciated

50:20 "unfortunately people only want to buy the name today." Don't generalize that brother. The watch world always was divided in status seekers and aesthetics-admirers. The IDcrowd is the latter for what I can see.
