just got this case today, got a 3090 ti, 32 gig of ram and a 10900k cpu which in vr produces a ton of heat, today has been the first day where ive not been sweating hot while in vr, its a blessing really
The only thing that put me off getting the Y60/70 is being forced into a vertical GPU mount, leaving only half size PCIe card support. This fixes that problem for me. Also seems like the angled fans is better for thermals anyway.
I just bought this case for my new build, and i am cool as hell now. Love this case. I put be-quiet fans all through it. Silent and beautiful and my temps are the coolest! Can't beat the price either...
what about dust accumulation?
@@danielzambranocapecci1116 not much if you have on desk. It also depends of air positive pressure. Jayztwocents has a video about it.

@danielzambranocapecci1116 surely you can just buy some nylon mesh filters for the front 3 and 2 for the bottom and one for the psu. Probably cost around £20 for all of them

Just built in this tonight, everything went smooth. Lots of cables in the back tho😮. Waiting on my 140 fans to come in to complete the build.
To be honest I'll pick this case over Y70 plus its 200 dollars cheaper
Hyte is so overrated. And that touchscreen is such a gimmick. I highly doubt that anyone will actually give two shits about the touchscreen once your pc is built and you start using it. It only looks cool for content creators and people who are trying to show off the case itself.
In my country...only price of Y60 Lcd its 2/3 from price of Y60 itself

i thought the same until i found out theres major fan clearance and AIO clearance issues in this case that they dont really go into in this video. forget about it if you want to use lian li or any other chunkier fans.
Y70 no touch is TOP case. Nothing can beat that case.

since this looks like it's optimized for air cooling, would it worth it to look at something else if I'm planning on going water cooled for this next build?
I would like the bottom and top to have larger more open mesh for greater air flow in to out and have real fine mesh filter screen. The white case needs white I/O wires.
What about a vertical mount GPU? Would it still be so cool?
Just need to measure the audio noise. Although likely to be quite low, just by not having to crank up the cpu and gpu fans.

When using an aircooler, what would be the best fan configuration for this case? Heard from another reviewer that adding 2x140mm bottom fans and 2x120mm top fans actually results in worst temps.

Update: Got the case for a couple of months already. Tested it out, and yes it is true, on an aircooler (Deepcool AK620) it results in around 5° worse with 2x140mm fans in the bottom. I ended up using an AIO instead (Nzxt Kraken Elite) and temps are the best in any case I've used thus far. CPU is around 29-30 in idle and GPU is around 45°. So if you plan on using an air cooling with this case, don't populate the 2x140mm fans at the bottom.
What about the h9 flow? How Does it compare? I currently have H7 Flow and thought about moving everything into a H9 Flow. Main reason for this is 3 fans mounted on bottom to blow extra cool air onto my 4080 OC GPU.
Does the top mount AIO allow for a push/pull config?

Would have been nice to see the air cooled thermals vs the NV5, which is a direct competitor.
Thermals are worse in the NV5. Bottom fan doesn't push air up directly under the GPU. It's too far to the right. One far right bottom 120mm fan where the air flow also has to make a 90 degree angle over the PSU shroud to even reach the GPU (if it even does, it's more so just aesthetic and likely goes directly up and out the top of the case, not really cooling any components) vs 2 140mm fans directly under the GPU, I think that's pretty obvious where the better thermals are coming from. Phanteks has 90 degree side intake. H6 Flow is angled so the air doesn't have to work as hard. I haven't owned the NV5 but i've owned the NV7. And the Hyte Y40. (AWFUL thermals in the Y40 with a 4090/13900ks) and a 0-11d dynamic Evo. Between those cases the H6 flow I recently switched to has the best themals out of all of them. And it's the most compact. Even shorter then the Y40. Way wider though because it's a real dual chamber, not fake. You are correct about them being direct competitors, While the NV5 looks great the H6 flow is the bette case. Aesthetically too though that's an opinion.
H6 flow is definitely cooler but then again you get that angled part which depending on the person makes or breaks this case
The bottom fans make basically no difference 1 degree or so

This was worrying me also, but after i received it. I can tell you it is not too dark, you can see everything as long you have rgb Fans. In my old Corsair 5000d, i couldnt see anything, even with rgb fans
A smoke visualization would've helped. Fractal Design Torrent is the king of thermals and Lian Li Lancool 216 comes in second.

30bucks worth it for RGB? Get the base version and a 3 pack of thermalright argb fans plus 2 140s and you are looking at almost the same price as the RGB version with all your intakes full and some backup fans.

NZXT F140 140mm RGB DUO Case Fan , should be these
ive heard its a nightmare spacewise to build in. it looks really cool at first glance, but what got me interested in the first place was another creator stating that you could put an eatx board in here although it isnt "officially" supported. i spoke with an NZXT expert on their website chat and they confirmed it wasnt supported officially but that my board "could" still fit the case. It has me a little intrigued BUT with more looking it just seems too small and too little you can really do in it. those side fans are almost hidden from the "main" build view unless your just trading that off for the RGB shining through the corner panel from a different perspective/far off outside view.....and THAT is kinda what ruins it for me. That and complaints of it not being "modular" compatible with other brand fans and radiators like the Lian Li fans having fitting troubles and radiators on the top having a hard time fitting when it comes to motherboards with heat sinks around the CPU. Also another BIG turnoff is the MUST CHOOSE 140mm fans for the bottom which again, Lian Li fans dont fit well inside of and that the mounting is too deep within the case to even see the side design of the fans.....in the end its just too many L's, too many no-no boxes to be checked. Which is so unfortunate becuase its the first fishtank NZXT case that doesnt have that dumb cable bar in the way for bigger motherboards. NZXT really needs to step it MORE imo!
The cable bar is detachable. I hope they add that cable shroud. The only problem I see is the limited radiator and fans size on top(maximum 30mm rad and 25mm fan combo).

I just built in this case. I added 2 140mm Cooler Master Master Fans and they fit seamlessly. Building was a breeze with this case. The only two issues I had are the cable velcro ties at the top are too small too hold 2 CPU power cables together if your running 2 CPU power on the board. The other gripe is the cable cut outs on the side for PCIe, 24 pin power etc. There is no shroud to hide cabling in the back.
That's shocking since the air blows in diagonally from the front and not straight into the case.
Pretty good case, great air flow, not too expensive, Robey nailed it on all points with this case.
Once the H6 case is fully filled out (namely the bottom fans) it looks great, especially with matching RGB fans. You can't side mount an AIO/radiator and I don't think you can push/pull on top (?) (Never tried it TBH). I found the wiring experience to be the worst of the non-ITX NZXT cases, noticeably so, but if you don't care about how the wiring looks in the back then it's not a big deal. The bottom only fits 140mm fans which might be a concern for some. But at the end of the day the H6 can cost as little as 1/3rd the cost of the more expensive case options out there.
For a frame of reference I've built in the H5, H6, H7 and H9, as well as the aforementioned Hyte cases in the intro including the Y40, Y60 and Y70; along with Corsair, Phanteks, Fractal, Antec, InWin and Lian Li cases.
so can i use the nzxt kraken 360 aio cooler for this? on pcpartpicker it says i cant.

Yes, but they make basically no difference temperature wise. I even saw them make the cpu 2-3 degrees more

The problem with the case is that you have to choose Nzxt fans to have two fans at the bottom otherwise you can only have one if you decide to go with other makes … Otherwise yes it’s a nice case
That is not true thermalrite 140mm fits x2 also arctic p14 140mm fit if they fit I guess many other brands will 💁♂️
There’s some that fit, but they make no difference in temperature 1-2 degrees
Corsair Qls also fit fine

only issue with it is these things are dust magnets and so if you live in a mall apartment you'll find your pc is dusty as fuck and since mine has 9 fans the dust is even worse had mine a week and already clearing out dust

It's only the best thermals " they " tested, dont be fooled a few case like the Fractal Torrent do get even better in that department

@@jacekmakes Funny kid! Depends on the shop but in my region it is more like 130-150€ but what ever, that was not what I'd like to say. In my opinion the looking/price/performance is just not there. If it would be cheaper, maybe. Buying overpriced stuff doesn't mean you're rich, means more like you're a little bittle silly.

just starting the video and i already know that you build wayyyyy too basic to make this case pop in any way at all. i really liked this case at first glance but t he more i look the worse it gets. if people are obsessed with airflow than thats ok but it doesnt even hold a candle to any other "fishtank" cases
If you're complaining about no dust filter at the top well you don't need a dust filter on an exhaust.
