S21 for the win, I have no idea how pixel matched in the zoom quality, iPhone lost the zoom quality against them both but s21 took the win there. Personally its like bias and pushed for the win on the pixel, but hey to each there own but I prefer the S21 or pixel for zoom, as for video id prefer iPhone or S21.
I think overall, I'd choose the Samsung, but so much of what you say about the pixel, honestly, is a matter of preference. Your talking about a flattened effect might hold true on two shots and you say it as if it were every shot. The commentary on warmth and coolness making one picture superior to another is entirely a matter of personal taste. Dynamic range seems to be missing an objective take. In many pictures, the pixel had greater dynamic range- a much praised feature when the iphone used to have an edge over many other phones. Aside from this, I give you much credit for taking a variety of shots for comparison. Coming in at $200 CHEAPER, the Pixel 6 Pro's "deficits" are simply no where near justifying paying $200 more for an iphone pro max, with one huge caveat. If you're all about video, go with the iphone.
The camera is one part of the package and although in photos that $200 maybe not great value there are other features that easily make that $200 a bargain and they include software updates for twice as long,m 33% extra battery life, far superior inherent performance, and better videography. I would say that for my subjective use that $200 extra is a bargain.
@@ladrenaboc9989 I agree with the better battery ... and personally would highlight better video. But $200 is $200- which might be of some note to potential buyers.
@@andyH_England Not arguing the merits of the iphone. And personally, I'd take the samsung over both others. Just noting the $200 difference. It's a plus 20% difference. Probably for iphone users $300 or $400 more would be seen as totally justified ;)
What I find strange is that your Pixel has a yellow tint across all of the photos. I have only seen this yellow tint on yours but not on other TH-camr's Pixel 6 Pro. I wonder if it is a software setting or something else that is throwing off the color balance on your pixel?
A helpful video; thanks! I got a Pixel 6 but am trading it in for an S21 instead because I want the "Link to Windows" feature on the Samsungs which looks very useful - don't have to look at the phone so much while on the computer. It's good to know from this video that I'm not losing anything in the camera department by switching to the S21, and in fact, the S21 pics look better to me, to my surprise.
What abut the selfie??? Actually i have an iphone 11 right now but now actually i want to upgrade.. so should i go for s21 ultra ?? Or should i go for i phone 12 pro max ?? I'm so confuse right now , plz suggest me ???
The flatter images on the pixel isn't a downside its actually a huge benefit. Any photographer will prefer a flatter image because you have much more flexibility while editing. The high contrast nature of the iPhone (although looks good side by side) will give you a massive handicap when editing. The photo at 5:17 is a perfect example of this: I'd say most people will say Pixel clearly looks the worst but from a photography perspective it's the winner hands down. Firstly the temperature is WAY off but not a concern because it's a super easy fix. I'm more focused on the level of detail in the shadows and WOW google nailed it (so many options to stylize this photo). Also the balance between colors is excellent, you'd be able to change different regions without having to worry about blowing out other areas. Trying to edit the iPhone photo with its high contrast and lower dynamic range will be an absolute nightmare. Overall it looks like the pixel will offer way more flexibility to stylize photos the way you want.
It's so frustrating to watch videos that don't present things accurately. I just bought the S21 Ultra and the Pixel 6 pro. After some comparisons, I returned the Pixel. The S21ultra takes better photos. Plus, I prefer the interface of the phone. Key points on the S21 Ultra camera; 1. "108 MB" (really just 24 MB) is only on the wide angle main lense! 2. The RAW feature is only allowable on the wide angle main lense and is 23 MB. 3. The S21 Ultra takes better photos than the Pixel 6 Pro except for when 4x zoom. The S21Ultra doesn't have 4x zoom, so...but, the S21Ultra takes a better image at ultra wide, wide, 3x zoom, and 10x zoom.
From a video perspective, it would have been nice to have engaged Google's noise suppression which would make the rest of the sound on the beach much more manageable. Additionally, the pixel supports natively a Bluetooth microphone, so you could use earbuds, a smartwatch, or if you really wanted to get fancy, a dedicated microphone in order to get far, far better sound quality in a noisy environment.
@@jessiebirax9152 He just said that the iPhone makes the best pictures and videos, and it ALWAYS did for that matter, unlike ANY OTHER phone. Not to mention the overall feel of the phone, second to none. Furthermore, it is also the toughest phone today with that ceramic coating and you can also put it underwater at over 6 meters. It is definetly not mediocre at all. Keep buying those kitsch Samsungs or whatever, they pollute this world like shit, having so many models badly built.
Is amazing how smart phones cameras are getting more capable this days. You can’t go wrong with either of the three but as always, people have preferences. Great review ❤️
So s21 ultra can match it but with more color lol the s21 ultra has a better display still and is still a bit faster in benchmarks and also normal everyday use slightly yep I'm happy with the s21 ultra lol
I'm using 4XL and I can shoot good photos at night and even daylight. I think the way the user tweaks the camera is the problem if he/she doesn't even know how to take better Photos. And I like the Pixel results not too warm, therefore I can enhance well in GPhotos accdg to my preference.😀
people keep saying they'll improve the pixel 6's camera with software updates, but does that actually happen? I heard they never really did that for the previous Pixel phones.
Just reading the script. It's always funny when techies say "we". Remember when samsung had the macro mode or portrait mode and it's wasn't a thing? Also Tensor and android 12 is just like 4 days old now. Let them optimize that camera like the other 2 have had numerous software updates then do this test again.
So you’re pretty much paying for beta software and hardware. The more reason to buy any other phone that has had software updates already, meaning they’ll always be ahead. By the time google hopefully releases some bug fixes, the s22 ultra will be out and you better believe that it will be twice the phone the pixel 6 pro is.
The 13 Pro is out for just a month, so Apple has time you know. However, i dont believe Apple pushes updates to improve camera quality. Google does. So lets see how they compare in a month or two. As a 13 Pro owner i AM glad its quiet even in photos, despite a small nudge to the Pixel. Shows how much Apple improved from the Xs on.
Great review, thank you. They all have their pros and cons. There's no clear winner for me. I've always been an Android user and have had Samsung and Google phones and have always liked them and the cameras. I'm finally considering an iPhone though because I want a phone with optical zoom and macro capabilities (even if it's using the telephoto as a work around) that isn't a giant brick with an awkward curved screen. The 6 pro and the s21 ultra are just massive. The size of the 13 pro and the great battery life might finally pull me over to the iPhone world.
I'm in the same boat. I was ready to upgrade from my old pixel 3a but the size of the 6 is just a no-go for me, especially considering that for all the supposed improvements the Pixel is still basically at par with the competition. Sort of let down after all the hype. Maybe if they bring back a smaller and lighter model again for the 6a I'd consider but for now the iPhone is looking more and more tempting.
Battery life? Lol, iPhone has the worst ba3 of the 3, and talking size it also has the most blunt design.. Just say u want to try an iPhone.. I will advice u to try Old models coz new ones are outright waste of your money..
Yeah. If you just simply said. For $900 you can have this camera. Now, pay another $100 you get this other one. Or pay $200 extra and you get this one. Most will be content with the first
Yeah I thought the same thing. At first I was like "did he mix up the photos?"...I feel like the iPhone didn't switch to the telephoto and instead did digital zoom from the main camera. I know that happens from time to time on a lot of phones with telephoto cameras...because the iPhone photo on that one is horrible, and has all the classic tell-tale signs of digital zoom (IE: looks like a watercolor painting). The 3x photos from the iPhone on all the other shots looked fine.
I am not particularly impressed with my 6 pro's cameras. The wide is fully useless. The main sensor is pretty good but the zoom always gives me over processed looking images. Honestly super hit or miss.
Have you ever tried to make a Whatsapp video call with Pixel 6 Pro? The picture quality in video calls is incredibly low/bad, even the old phones have better than this.
I used an iPhone 12 for the last year…I end up having to enter my pin to unlock the phone, about 75 times a day. This mask wearing has ruined the convenience of facial recognition. Add to that I work in healthcare and typically I’m wearing a mask at work as well. Anyhow, I waited to see if apple would include Touch ID on the 13 models and they didn’t. Would have been great if they put one in the power button as they did on the new iPad Air. Anyhow, ordered a pixel 6 waiting for delivery. Won’t be buying the iPhone 13. Used to have a Samsung many years ago and never liked the duplicate apps and Samsung store…etc etc. Pixel is just right.
Do you not wear gloves in the medical profession? So for you fingerprint scanner is just as bad? I use an Apple Watch and have no problems with unlocking my iPhone and that watch is now over three years old!
When I hear this rubbish about how cheaper the pixel 6 pro is still not learnt anything? The pixel had only one software update and there will be plenty more to come the s21 ultra was not that great at the start so chill . It will get better I time the iPhone had 10 years of practice with the same sensors .only now started to be a top notch camera . So give the pixel a chance its new hardware that needs to be refined some more
Samsung has always been over saturated for colours in their cameras. IPhone just isn't quite up to scratch when it comes to flagship cameras. For me Google has the best, it's natural colours, pretty much as the eye sees. No over saturation
Best front camera was of the GOOGLE PIXEL 6 PRO and back camera king was obviously the IPHONE 13 PRO MAX. Voice cutting from the mic is the best on IPHONE 13 PRO MAX as well. Well, due to the less price, GOOGLE PIXEL 6 PRO will be a more better and value for money device.
Paused at 2:25 but so far to me G.P.6 works with the lighting around you. The closer you are to a light bulb the better the camera adjusts to the persons features
The iphone 13 pro max, is just incorporating functions that the Galaxy S21 already had at the beginning of the year. For the lower price and the same features, I choose the S21. In innovation the S21 is one step ahead of the Iphone

Well I think all the phones have their disadvantages especially in the camera department, the iPhone and the Galaxy may be consistent in some shots but consistency does not mean great, while the Pixel tries to give you an overall shift from that and tried to adapt to the environment you are in instead of keeping things the same and like the other does and mess up the image. In videos both the Galaxy and Pixel still have a long way to go especially with noise reduction and stabilization, and well as the white balance, and the iPhone still needs to improve on its zoom range in videos and skin colors, well I think they all have to improve on that.
Watching on my s21u and I ordered the 6 because I didn't want to wait until Jan for the pro... I really want to try that stock Android experience... But I'll prob be returning it.

Some of us appreciate the efforts made by Sony and google to keep the tones real and the scenes exactly as they are in pics
True but I wish it gave the option to make it looks more scenic.
Sorry but only Sony does that. Pixel don't, they drastically change the tone and colours. Totally not near to real tone
NICE COMPAIR , GOOD JOB BROTHER , ALWAYS LOVE
Pixel has the hardware and with time and updates I think it will only get better. Pure Google is amazing, I've been waiting for years to replace my Pixel 2XL, can't wait to buy this phone!
The Pixel used night sight for the low light selfie because you didn't turn screen illumination on.
I got the Pixel 6 Pro and to be honest the colors are more true to life. And I don't know about your device, but mines shoot some amazing photos and videos are a lot better. Used it for vlogging!
more true to life? how do you know? You weren't event there. And the reviewer himself said pixel goes for overcontrasty coloured images
@@ashtonsequeira9757 I am talking about my overall experience, being that I have one and have done a video on the camera as well.
@@ashtonsequeira9757 - Other reviewers are showing that the Pixel 6 Pro produced the more desirable images and videos. I can't help but think this reviewer either received a defective Pixel or he didn't update the phone.
You do pay 200 more for far better battery, build quality etc. So for some,it is justifiable.
The S21 is the best, but I just love the Pixel Pro, it's just so unpretentious and responsive, it's like having your old pal with you...
What I find strange is that your Pixel has a yellow tint across all of the photos. I have only seen this yellow tint on yours but not on other TH-camr's Pixel 6 Pro. I wonder if it is a software setting or something else that is throwing off the color balance on your pixel?
S21 Ultra had better quality and more natural looking pictures/videos. The s22 is going to be godly.
Wait for s22 series

I am a TH-camr, which is the best camera phone for my use? could you give advice?
Is it just me or at 5:50 when he's talking about how the pixel 3x zoom is bad is it not actually smoking the other two?
I came to make this comment. It's so much clearer than the other two. I was genuinely confused by his comment.
I had the same doubts about what he said.
What abut the selfie??? Actually i have an iphone 11 right now but now actually i want to upgrade.. so should i go for s21 ultra ?? Or should i go for i phone 12 pro max ?? I'm so confuse right now , plz suggest me ???
20x zoom? 30x? 30x on the Galaxy S21 Ultra is useful to some people, but it's not as much of a usable option on the other phones, especially Apple's.
It's extremely useful for the non-simple people.
Thanks so much for this! Very informative. I'm looking for the best camera phone and this was really helpful.
90% are non photographers, casuals. For them, it looks bad.
It's so frustrating to watch videos that don't present things accurately. I just bought the S21 Ultra and the Pixel 6 pro. After some comparisons, I returned the Pixel. The S21ultra takes better photos. Plus, I prefer the interface of the phone.
Key points on the S21 Ultra camera;
All the phones can use an external microphone
True. Pixels can do so. Also, the S21 Ultra has zoom-in microphone, so it reduces surrounding sounds while enhancing the one you want.
When u buy iPhone but u know u bought only the logo 🤣
Pls refrain from using flat and use natural colours. Pixel doesn't capture flat boring images. It captures natural looking images.
I will wait and hope that Google makes a phone the size of my Pixel 5 next time out. The 6 Pro and 6 are just too large. IMHO
Pixel's zoom quality is really great. Had to admit it.
If you decide to buy a phone, which of them will you suggest it to me among 1_ Huawei p50pro 2_ vivox70 3_ Google pixel 6 4_ Xiaomi mi 11
Yeah, probably the only thing at which that Pixel 6 wins. Just buy an iPhone and you’ll see the difference. The feel of the phone is on another level.

@@jessiebirax9152 He just said that the iPhone makes the best pictures and videos, and it ALWAYS did for that matter, unlike ANY OTHER phone. Do you recommend pixel 6 pro for filming TH-cam videos… please reply ¿.
Exactly, the user's think because they have the last flagship their camera do a miracles
Pls help me what to get in these 3 phones.. I'm really having a hard time which phone is best
people keep saying they'll improve the pixel 6's camera with software updates, but does that actually happen? I heard they never really did that for the previous Pixel phones.
Shooting in Varna, Bulgaria makes every phone and picture look good :)
Just reading the script. It's always funny when techies say "we". Remember when samsung had the macro mode or portrait mode and it's wasn't a thing? Also Tensor and android 12 is just like 4 days old now. Let them optimize that camera like the other 2 have had numerous software updates then do this test again.
If Apple introduced a thing called ishitt, Apple fanboys would eat it
@@mystery1521 yeah but I’m pretty sure you don’t own any of these phones🤣🤣
It's still not a thing for most people.
Sir,What is the meaning of form factor in this phone detail. It is written differently in all the phone details. Bar, Smartphone, Slider, ETC
Google pixel is the good
Great review,
Wait, the pixel uses 3x digital zoom and doesn't look nearly as good? It's the best among the 3!!! 6:00
So which is the best after the test?
Great review, thank you. They all have their pros and cons. There's no clear winner for me. I've always been an Android user and have had Samsung and Google phones and have always liked them and the cameras. I'm finally considering an iPhone though because I want a phone with optical zoom and macro capabilities (even if it's using the telephoto as a work around) that isn't a giant brick with an awkward curved screen. The 6 pro and the s21 ultra are just massive. The size of the 13 pro and the great battery life might finally pull me over to the iPhone world.
You wont regret it i think.
@@pman4411 The 13 Pro Max has the best battery life, just amazing.

Yeah. If you just simply said. For $900 you can have this camera. Now, pay another $100 you get this other one. Or pay $200 extra and you get this one. Most will be content with the first
The night selfie of any of the phones is better than my phone's main camera😭😭
5:55 ?
The pixel has the best image or am i tripping?
And I'm not looking at this from my phone
Yeah I thought the same thing. At first I was like "did he mix up the photos?"...I feel like the iPhone didn't switch to the telephoto and instead did digital zoom from the main camera. I know that happens from time to time on a lot of phones with telephoto cameras...because the iPhone photo on that one is horrible, and has all the classic tell-tale signs of digital zoom (IE: looks like a watercolor painting). The 3x photos from the iPhone on all the other shots looked fine.
I actually liked the Pixel's sound at the beach the best but again it is probably the TH-cam video versus the actual video sound from here.
I am not particularly impressed with my 6 pro's cameras. The wide is fully useless. The main sensor is pretty good but the zoom always gives me over processed looking images. Honestly super hit or miss.
On the contrary for me, my Pixel 6 has been taking amazing photos better than my Pixel 4 XL better than the s21
So how about stop being a media puppet and take off your mask genius

When I hear this rubbish about how cheaper the pixel 6 pro is still not learnt anything? The pixel had only one software update and there will be plenty more to come the s21 ultra was not that great at the start so chill . It will get better I time the iPhone had 10 years of practice with the same sensors .only now started to be a top notch camera . So give the pixel a chance its new hardware that needs to be refined some more
It feels like Pixel 5 does a much better job than Pixel 6. Google has a lot of work to do in order to optimize the new sensors they have now
@@vervetech9395 the pixel 6 will get there. And when it does, it'll be glorious.
No one will care about the pixel 6 in a month. No one with any amount of intelligence is going to pick the pixel over the galaxy or iPhone
Samsung has always been over saturated for colours in their cameras. IPhone just isn't quite up to scratch when it comes to flagship cameras. For me Google has the best, it's natural colours, pretty much as the eye sees. No over saturation
Actually you do have a screen light option on pixel 6 pro for low light selfie you have to click settings Tab

Most people love iPhones when it comes to talking pictures with their cameras, but here it looks like I will prefer that pixel 6 ❤️
Very nice video look so clear for comparision 🎉🎉🎉
Well I think all the phones have their disadvantages especially in the camera department, the iPhone and the Galaxy may be consistent in some shots but consistency does not mean great, while the Pixel tries to give you an overall shift from that and tried to adapt to the environment you are in instead of keeping things the same and like the other does and mess up the image. In videos both the Galaxy and Pixel still have a long way to go especially with noise reduction and stabilization, and well as the white balance, and the iPhone still needs to improve on its zoom range in videos and skin colors, well I think they all have to improve on that.
Consistency is key, unless you want to play photo quality roulette. I’ll take slightly worse but consistent over occasionally good.
Consistency is everything my dear. Trust me u don't want an inconsistent phone..
