I am used to the rain and ride my bike in any conditions except snow. I wish the ak550 had the traction control. It is crazy to find so many people without helmet...
Happens alot here when the weather is good, but with those conditions not wearing a helmet... and those that have it with them and not wearing them.... crazy
I have a 2016 TMax iron max have done close to 28k on it purely urban commuting. Test rode the Ak a few months ago very similar to ride Ak has better sound,better mirrors,I liked the display also, performance wise very close hard to say which is quicker. TMax feels slightly better in the suspension department build quality maybe Yamaha screwed together bit better but over all for the money here think the price difference is about 2k in Australia if I had to choose would be hard choice which one to get very close. Like your content I'm off to Kythira in August maybe I'll hire a scooter there.

Sorry Adam but true is truth u can't change the true AK550 is much better vs Tmax and engine is balance all bike 50:50 and every turn right or left in extreme road AK550 is better or touring.

Εγώ το πρώτο ταξίδι με μηχανή το έκανα με μισό εξοπλισμό, ...Απρίλιο... Και με έπιασε βροχή στην αρχή και χιόνι -2 στην Τρίπολη... τα είδα όλα μούσκεμα να με φυσάει ο αέρας στους-2 με το χιόνι. Κι εδώ είχε ένα test drive μου έγραψαν στα σχόλια και ότι ενθουσιάστηκε με τον ήχο από την εξάτμιση.

I wouldn't ride my AK 550 in the rain without covering the vent below the windshield. There's a lot of electrical connections behind that front vent that's going to get wet . Also bugs and dirt will get in there.
Biketrips yes please do so. Plus I would like to hear your exhaust, and give info of both where ypu bought, how much it costed and so on :-) i bought new ak 550, so I am about to add exhaust and still thinking of type.
hey man, just received my ak 550. I really like the wind shield, and actualy on mine he wind shield its very big, i think its good to drive for the long drives, but actually, to the city its very big. Ps.: the original sound its great :) i just love it. Let me know for the wind shield.
Do you feel any difference in fuel consumption using rain mode or full power mode? Just trying to understand if make sense use rain mode in city and let the full power mode to be used during travel. I saw the the power curve is very similar in low rotation... but I would like to hear your oppinion.
Rain mode consumes more fuel, strange but was the same in all AK550 I saw, and the difference in power is unnoticeable. I was never actually used rain mode, it doesn't have so much power anyway, easy to handle with normal mode.
Πρωτη μερα που πηρα το μηχανακι απο σαλονικη εφαγα τοση βροχη μεχρι τη Ναουσα που με ηρθε να βαλω τα κλαματα..,ζελατινα μηχανακι και το ξεπαρθενιαζω με βροχη..παρολα αυτα,με αδιαβροχα πανω κατω και rain mode δεν καταλαβα τπτ..ουτε μεσα σαλονικη ουτε εθνικη οδο..δε φοβηθηκα ουτε να φρεναρω ουτε να επιταχυνω αποτομα..ακομα και να πλαγιασω
Καλησπέρα biketrips πάρε ένα κερί ελαφρώς τριψε στη κάμερα στο φακό τζαμιού και φυσά το με το πιστολάκι να σφίξει απορρόφησε καλά και βροχή απλά θα γλιστράει θα το δεις κάντο και αυτό ισχύει για όλα αμάξι παπούτσι δεν περνάει το νερό μέσα. Καλή συνέχεια βγάλε κιάλια βίντεκια με ήχο λίγο δεν ακούς καλά.

Με το kymco έχω παρατηρήσει ότι οδηγώ πολύ πιο άνετα και χωρίς φόβο να χάσω πρόσφυση.

Ί have exhaust sound on my walk around and exhaust video,I am satisfied with the stock sound so I will leave it like it is for the moment!

Όπως είδες είναι πολύ σταθερό,τα λάστιχα έχουν πολύ καλή πρόσφυση. Επίσης με το Abs 9.1 της bosh έχεις μια παραπάνω εμπιστοσύνη.

Δεν το έχω οδηγήσει,Αλλά πιστεύω θα έχει τεράστια διαφορά γιατί έχουν δώσει πολύ προσοχή στην Ευσταθία του πλαισίου και στον χειρισμο στο Ak550

Δεν πειράζει το μαθαίνεις από την αρχή στα δύσκολα και γίνεται πιο σκληρό! Αλλά η αλήθεια είναι ότι δεν μασάει στην βροχή,προστατεύει και εσένα

Δεν είμαι σίγουρος να σου απαντήσω 100% Αλλά πιστεύω κοντά στα 80.000 με 100.000 θα θέλει πραγματάκια αλλαγή
