i live in australia and make these every few mornings very quick and easy and i add milk if taste better i reckon.
Same I put milk cause that’s what my mum puts she usually does it for me but today I was feeling pancakes for dinner but I was craving and I cooked the pancakes and it was golden brown but the inside is raw

Can I ask. I did mixed water in the bottle but decided not to finish it all. I placed it in the pantry and to my surprise, the batter exploded (?) out of the bottle and spilt all over the pantry. is there a specific way to store the batter? and why did it explode in the first place?
It would be better to use it up at once, but if you must store it, you should keep it in the refrigerator. The batter has a raising agent (such as baking soda/ bicarbonate of soda), which would have caused it to explode. Hope this helps.

It's exploded caused by gas made by bacteria, you're not supposed to put it on a pantry especially if it's wet & opened. Just like milk, once opened you need to refrigerate or it'll grow bacteria fast in room temperature
If you mix water or milk how long can you store it in the fridge?
Joy I think maybe 1 day or 2 most. These mixes are quick fixes so typically you wanna use them once off.
