- When I bought this Jeep Gladiator over 2 years ago and planned to turn it into my home on wheels for full time travel, I could have only dreamed of having it as it sits today. But it has been a long road. This video was fun to reminisce on those times, as well as give you an update on my interior systems and upgrades to prepare for the camper, and of course, a date you can expect to see it on the truck, which is right around the corner! I'm jealous.. I am turning 56 this year and it would be so cool to do something let this while I am still healthy enough to go out and do the hiking and exploring let this.
Hahaha..me too at 55. Been a great life. ...outdoor adventures from my teens, 20s-30s then married, kids, farm, yada yada yada, ..looking forward to the "back 9" with my love of my life who also enjoys the outdoors and keeps me moving ... lol

If that Jeep has the 3.6 liter Chrysler engine make sure you tighten your oil filter plastic canister to 18 foot/lbs (or make sure the techs do if you go to an oil change place)
In the last month I have dealt with 9 customers whose oil filter housing base cracks where it meets the engine (plastic into metal) and it's a $1,000 repair. Just a heads up, excellent videos my dude.
According to my local ambo fleet guys (80 rigs) that the dodge promaster has something similar occurring.

Thank you and great question. It will be a bit tight at times but we can all sit around the table and work/eat, then convert it to an almost queen size bed for sleeping, it should work great!

That water tank and auxiliary fuel tank weigh well over 300 lbs when full! Add the weight of your empty camper and you’re already approaching your total CCC, before adding you, your dog and all of your cargo and gear😬
I hold a similar concern.
The frame and components are engineered for the GVWR... and within a certain triangle of axles and height.
Adding equipment outside that triangle... well, let's just say I think Clodd might be getting close to test-pilot territory.
