Thanks for the video, a lot of important information. When I first broke out in acne as a teen, my mom thought it was because I wasn’t washing my face hard enough. She encouraged me to scrub it harder and harder with soap and a facecloth. You can imagine how that exacerbated things! I think it’s currently very confusing out there for your average consumer - so many products , especially the actives, and they don’t know how they all fit together. I have figured out my routine through research and trial and error. That way I can also check if a brand is cruelty free 🐰🐰
I am in my 70’s and have been lazy with my skin care particularly removing my makeup! The makeup wipes at bedside is a good tip. I enjoy your videos Dr Dustin and admire your clinics for the underserved.
This is a great video. Now that I'm in my 50s, my skin is intermittently splotchy red I've never had this issue. I also see so many spider veins. Is there any benefit to treating this with topical ivermectin?
For exfoliating, I’m trying out a gentle PHA + LHA toner that I can use daily rather than a stronger AHA and/or BHA. So far, so good. But my main focus is overall skin (barrier) health and hydration, so that’s already helping with turnover.
as a teen I use to plaster my acne face with super strong hair peroxyde for bleach...it worked tho 😂😏 We would use hemorroid cream under our eyes (worked extremely well lol)
Thank you for this. One thing I'm not sure is how much is too much for the skin? For example, I'm 36. I cleanse, use vitamin c, moisturizer and SPF in the morning. Then double cleanse, use glycolic (5%) toner, moisturizer and retinol at night. Is that considered too much or just fine. My skin looks fine, though. I'm thinking about making more simple routine, but I'm concerned if I'm going to miss anything from skipping one of these.

You are working hard but the main motive to reach an exact audience is not fulfilled. You are working for your audience if the video can't reach them. That's a waste of your energy and time also. I will show the problem in your video and share how to fix it. Only say ‘yes’ if you want to grow your channel.

As A teen and in my 20's saliciclic acid was my worst mistake. It only made my skin awful. AHA and tretinoin worked.

I think toner is useless especially with your strict routine.
