I loved it! as this being my first mod and all, it wasn't top tier or anything lol, now that I look back on it, theres ALOT that could use some fixing, I guess my senior modding OCD is kicking in lol and I'm sure JPH Legends will do it some justice, but like I said, fantastic job and I loved the way you introduced the dinosaurs, a great nod to JWTG.

Saurian Target I've always wanted to implement my own story element into the Jurassic Park universe, and with this mod and its sequels, I'd say I've achieved that, also nice Park pun lol as for JPHL, Tormer is doing a really great job with the maps and the animations. The soft reboot part of JPHL consists of slightly changing the dates of when the previous events took place, for example, The first time the agents hunt on the islands,it takes place in 1995, 2 years after The first Nublar incident, in order to secure Hammond's dream of making a Park and not letting Peter Ludlow take over, since this is a success, the events of the Lost World never happened, which would change Jurassic Park's time line quite a bit. The Polar Expansion part would take place in 1997, after the second park is up and running and in 1999, the Ultimasaurus would have been created, destroying a section of the park, leading up to its and Ingen's downfall. At this point in time, Masrani would have bought the rights to Ingen and Jurassic Park. The events of Jurassic Park 3 would take place however, leading up to the point at which the Pteranodons would escape,in turn would make Ingen have Hoskins capture and kill them. the events would pretty much stay the same, Jurassic World opens in 2005, however, Ingen kickstarts the "Jurassic Park Hunter" tour in 2012 and becomes world wide in 2013 (which is when JPHL takes place) and of course the events of Jurassic World take place in 2015. thats about it really, at this point JPH's timeline blends in with the original timeline. Thats the entire revamped story in a nutshell.

It didn't have the box, but it was barely used, and it was cool having a full physical copy of the game I didn't have in my childhood.

I'd love to see some cinematic hunts across all the offical games and mods, it would definitely add a sense of realism and being able to walk in the shoes of a hunter as they bag dinosaurs and other prehistoric beasts.

Another fantastic showcase! I'm very tempted to download this mod, but I might just wait until the Legends version comes out, which looks AMAZING! I actually remember mentioning map-specific ambients, and its so great to see this is actually possible! Also seeing the JPOG models being used will definitely make this a unique Carnivores experience. Perhaps just because I don't play the i-phone/facebook JP games, but I actually don't recognize a lot of the skins from the two packs shown (also I'm sad that the JPOG Acro won't be used, at least for now maybe, really loved that one). Anyway, back to the showcase. You really know how to sell a mod, and I agree that the first map in particular looks like a lot of fun to hunt on, providing a real Lost World experience with all the abandoned facilities (one of my favorite aspects of the setting). I also love the John Hammond quote you used at the beginning from Trespasser. It's always great to see references to lesser known games within the JP series (perhaps that remnant of an ancient settlement may also be a reference to Trespasser). So much goodness in this one. I love the concept behind this mod and how it can be seen as a precursor to JPOG. I highly recommend the DLC models to this mod especially the Trex it is much much better quality than the one seen here great video as per usual saurian ☺️
"Red and Green are the colors I associate with Carnotaurus." ...My man, I think we just bonded. xD Keegz did a wonderful job, even for the 1.0 version it looks great, and even Jurassic Park hunter legends looks amazing, and seeing the non-hunt-able map specific Ambient creatures has given me a form of hope that I can someday make my mod a reality with animate static ambient creatures, the likes of which we talked about, Saurian. I look forward to Jurassic Park Hunter: Legends with gusto, and wish Keegz and his partner in crime good luck with it. ^_^ Though that doesn't mean that I won't play this mod in its current build at some point. With Models, ambient creatures and a back story like that? I am inclined to believe you. And yeah, though Red is my primary color for the Carnotaur, Green in some cases (hanks to The Lost World JP arcade game) I've never really pictured the Carnotaur in any color but red or green. Though Primal Carnage has opened my mind up to red and black Carnotaurs. By the way, I've finally come up with an idea for an Ice Age map and a few new creatures for said map.
Ah yes, the good old Lost World arcade game. Spent so much money on that as a kid... That's great to hear about the Ice Age elements! What have you come up with?
Pretty much a large mix of Icy Mountain range, open grassy plains (based on the area the Smilodon would stalk pray in Walking with Mammals (I think that's what it's called)) and to the south east corner of the map, there's a large redwood arctic forest, no snow, but there is a chill that runs through its Terror Bird infested trunks. The plains have downed tree's littering the place, signs that herbivorous Mammels have come and devoured all of the green that was once very vibrant. Smilodon stalk hungry Megatherium, a mammal quite common to this plains region of the Arctic sector of FMM-UV32, meanwhile the northern and northeastern mountain range is home to large ice caves that house Yeti and on other occasions Cave Lions. However, this mountainous region is largely devoid of life, minus the occasional wandering Animal. The forest redwoods are of course the perfect place for Terror birds and other Mammals looking to avoid the most skilled of hunters. It takes up a portion of the lower map with the Plains dominating the middle. There is a river running through it, coming from the maps corner slithering its way into a small plains marsh. Animals on this map would Procoptodon (giant Kangaroo) Megatherium, Gigantopithecus, Cryolophosaurus, nothing was ever said about including Antarctic Dinosaurs, Thylacine and lastly, if I may be so bold, large winged bat-like creatures with scarce any hair. Based around those creatures from Peter Jackson's King Kong remake, although I may change that. About the only new ambient I can think of adding would be the Dodo.

Another great video Saurian 😊 this mod got me thinking about jurassic Park trespasser I think it would be be really cool if you did a video showcase on trespasser or some of the mods for it I would love hear your thoughts on that ambitious but very flawed game

I háve a couple of questions. On reborn do the dinosaurs fight eachother. When you go into the car file how do you make an ambient a hunt able animal. How do you make your own skin. And I'm working on a creepy pasta about carnivores.
On Reborn, I don't think the dinosaurs actually "fight" each other, per se, but the Carnivores can kill herbivores. Turning an ambient into a huntable is tricky. I'm not even 100% sure how to do it. To make your own skin, check out my How to Mod Carnivores video. Also, a Carnivores creepy pasta sounds terrifying. I hope to check it out once it's completed!

Hey saurian, I just wanted to give you an update on my carnivores project made using unreal engine. So, I have finished the animations and all but I do need some advice on the sounds of the dinosaurs. Also I must say I thought my own carnivores game would be real hard but, it was really fun! Anyway if you are thinking it's gonna be one of those cheap games, it not( surprised me too when I found out how good it looked) anyway I am still making it flawless and it should be out this time next year. Hopefully

I really wanna see that mod and I also sorta had this idea that maybe in each mod review you could also show off any death animations that is in the mod and all three possible calls each dinosaur/animal can make. Also there’s a huge amount of dlc for Triassic now as well to look at as well as new models in the mod
I think the "shotgun" is a rifle. Double rifles are really popular in dangerous game hunting for their ability to provide an insurance shot. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Double_rifle
Saurian Target It was a Top 5 or 10 list having the best or worst creatures in the Carnivores series unique to mobile like the Igunaodon or Gigantoraptor. You could also try making a list of Top 10 list of best mods or best creatures in mods like maybe Postasuchus from the Triassic sector.

I've tried the three different video settings for it, and one makes the sky incredibly buggy and the other two make the game really pixely. It's on '98 compatibility btw. Also how do you record carnivores? I'm not sure how to get the Windows game recording thingy to work as i need my mouse the enable recording on hunts, as it is a separate window.

Saurian Target I think I've managed to get Genesis to work! I'm not sure, maybe I thought the game was less pixely than it actually is, but when I look at your videos, it actually looks fine :) And no, Triassic (the only other mod I have) seems to be working fine, except for the fact that I can't seem to find most of the dinosaurs... when I go hunting, I look around for quite a while and don't find any! Are they supposed to be rare or is it a glitch? As for Bandicam, I've never used it, so I'll give it a go, but isn't there a watermark? I'm guessing you can remove it - do you know how much that would be?
Emperor of Toons & Beasts the 3.5 version of Middle Islands has animated Tylosaurs now, but they dont move around,I'm learning how to make the models do that with only one animation for a map ambient creature for Beta 4.
Man I love the updated Carnivores models - they are exactly what i think Carnivores should have! Although i understand the inaccuracy in the dinosaurs, and very much like the feel of some like the Allosaurus and Spinosaurus, I always disliked the Stegosaurus and Triceratops models, and the Pachycephalosaurus stance was annoying too, so i absolutely adore these models! Shame there's no updated Ankylosaurus in this... Although, some of the textures aren't very good. The Stegosaurus is fine in my opinion, but the Triceratops is a bit boring. I love the model and texture of the Velociraptor, and the same applies for the Carnotaurus, although i am absolutely in love with the model, it's a shame parts of it keep disappearing. I also dislike the Spinosaurus, it doesn't look very good, and the Rex feels... tacky. I must say I really don't like it's texture, and because of that I struggle to judge the model. I also despise the Parasaurolophus... it just looks horrible. As for the others, i think they're OK, not that bad but not great either. The Cetiosaurus confuses me... the Brachiosaurus just seems like a better pick. And as much as I like the idea and looks of the secret ambients, they don't work for me due to their lack of movement.
I agree with you when it comes to maps... they are OK, but some are definitely better than others, but overall they need some improving and aren't as good as some other maps
And for weapons, I like most of the choices, except the abundance of semi-automatic/automatic weapons, but some of the models and textures aren't the best, and some weapons feel rather 'square' to me.
I'm not sure but I feel like those updated Carnivores models are a part of a set of updated models for each dinosaur... I could be wrong, though. I'd have to double check. Yeah, I feel ya with the textures. Some of them are a little generic, and I think the models for the Rex and Spino just feel a little too floppy and fragile to me, but the Raptor and Carno are pretty spot on. Hopefully I'll get that download link up soon! xD
Lemme guess. Carnivores Migration basically happens after the catastrophic event (Meteorite) that wiped out the dinosaurs. Here's my reasons: 1. It's snowing 2. Dead dinosaur corpses 3. And that feeling of emptyness in the map. its like theres nothing around. Extinction Confirmed?
Am I the only one disappointed that its almost impossible to get the Classic Carnivores: Dinosaur Hunter or Ice age. I mean like seriously how do I get games in 2017 if they were made in 1999. Atleast I have Reborn and Mobile Carnivores games :3
Saurian Target spined lizards yeah, but why not concaveovenator or maybe a different spinosaur? There are I believe 2 species of "spinosaurus." Aegypyicus and some other one. Idk its a personal quirk. Keep up the good content though, I found u recently and my love for carnivores resurfaced once again

Smilodon stalk hungry Megatherium, a mammal quite common to this plains region of the Arctic sector of FMM-UV32, meanwhile the northern and northeastern mountain range is home to large ice caves that house Yeti and on other occasions Cave Lions. However, this mountainous region is largely devoid of life, minus the occasional wandering Animal.
The forest redwoods are of course the perfect place for Terror birds and other Mammals looking to avoid the most skilled of hunters. It takes up a portion of the lower map with the Plains dominating the middle. There is a river running through it, coming from the maps corner slithering its way into a small plains marsh.
Animals on this map would Procoptodon (giant Kangaroo) Megatherium, Gigantopithecus, Cryolophosaurus, nothing was ever said about including Antarctic Dinosaurs, Thylacine and lastly, if I may be so bold, large winged bat-like creatures with scarce any hair. Based around those creatures from Peter Jackson's King Kong remake, although I may change that.
About the only new ambient I can think of adding would be the Dodo.
That sounds like a very cool idea, kind of like a frozen mix between prehistoric South America and Australia. I'm down with that!

I háve a couple of questions. On reborn do the dinosaurs fight eachother. When you go into the car file how do you make an ambient a hunt able animal. How do you make your own skin. And I'm working on a creepy pasta about carnivores.
On Reborn, I don't think the dinosaurs actually "fight" each other, per se, but the Carnivores can kill herbivores.
Turning an ambient into a huntable is tricky. I'm not even 100% sure how to do it.
To make your own skin, check out my How to Mod Carnivores video. Also, a Carnivores creepy pasta sounds terrifying. I hope to check it out once it's completed!

Hey saurian, I just wanted to give you an update on my carnivores project made using unreal engine. So, I have finished the animations and all but I do need some advice on the sounds of the dinosaurs. Also I must say I thought my own carnivores game would be real hard but, it was really fun! Anyway if you are thinking it's gonna be one of those cheap games, it not( surprised me too when I found out how good it looked) anyway I am still making it flawless and it should be out this time next year. Hopefully

I really wanna see that mod and I also sorta had this idea that maybe in each mod review you could also show off any death animations that is in the mod and all three possible calls each dinosaur/animal can make. Also there’s a huge amount of dlc for Triassic now as well to look at as well as new models in the mod
I think the "shotgun" is a rifle. Double rifles are really popular in dangerous game hunting for their ability to provide an insurance shot.

I've tried the three different video settings for it, and one makes the sky incredibly buggy and the other two make the game really pixely. It's on '98 compatibility btw. Also how do you record carnivores? I'm not sure how to get the Windows game recording thingy to work as i need my mouse the enable recording on hunts, as it is a separate window.

And no, Triassic (the only other mod I have) seems to be working fine, except for the fact that I can't seem to find most of the dinosaurs... when I go hunting, I look around for quite a while and don't find any! Are they supposed to be rare or is it a glitch?
As for Bandicam, I've never used it, so I'll give it a go, but isn't there a watermark? I'm guessing you can remove it - do you know how much that would be?

Hey, anybody notice the Apatosaurus doesn't move? Same problem with the Tylosaurus from the Middle Islands. Somebody needs to fix that, y'all.
Emperor of Toons & Beasts the 3.5 version of Middle Islands has animated Tylosaurs now, but they dont move around,I'm learning how to make the models do that with only one animation for a map ambient creature for Beta 4.

Man I love the updated Carnivores models - they are exactly what i think Carnivores should have! Although i understand the inaccuracy in the dinosaurs, and very much like the feel of some like the Allosaurus and Spinosaurus, I always disliked the Stegosaurus and Triceratops models, and the Pachycephalosaurus stance was annoying too, so i absolutely adore these models! Shame there's no updated Ankylosaurus in this...
Although, some of the textures aren't very good. The Stegosaurus is fine in my opinion, but the Triceratops is a bit boring. I love the model and texture of the Velociraptor, and the same applies for the Carnotaurus, although i am absolutely in love with the model, it's a shame parts of it keep disappearing. I also dislike the Spinosaurus, it doesn't look very good, and the Rex feels... tacky. I must say I really don't like it's texture, and because of that I struggle to judge the model. I also despise the Parasaurolophus... it just looks horrible. As for the others, i think they're OK, not that bad but not great either.
The Cetiosaurus confuses me... the Brachiosaurus just seems like a better pick.
And as much as I like the idea and looks of the secret ambients, they don't work for me due to their lack of movement.
I agree with you when it comes to maps... they are OK, but some are definitely better than others, but overall they need some improving and aren't as good as some other maps
And for weapons, I like most of the choices, except the abundance of semi-automatic/automatic weapons, but some of the models and textures aren't the best, and some weapons feel rather 'square' to me.
But overall i like the look of the mod, and will most likely enjoy playing it :)
I'm not sure but I feel like those updated Carnivores models are a part of a set of updated models for each dinosaur... I could be wrong, though. I'd have to double check.
Yeah, I feel ya with the textures. Some of them are a little generic, and I think the models for the Rex and Spino just feel a little too floppy and fragile to me, but the Raptor and Carno are pretty spot on.

Lemme guess. Carnivores Migration basically happens after the catastrophic event (Meteorite) that wiped out the dinosaurs.
Here's my reasons:
1. It's snowing
2. Dead dinosaur corpses
3. And that feeling of emptyness in the map. its like theres nothing around.

Saurian Target spined lizards yeah, but why not concaveovenator or maybe a different spinosaur? There are I believe 2 species of "spinosaurus." Aegypyicus and some other one. Idk its a personal quirk. Keep up the good content though, I found u recently and my love for carnivores resurfaced once again
