The fact that the Therizinosaurs learned that humans are dangerous, and how to protect themselves by covering their mortal zone, makes me wonder if maybe, just maybe, the Ancients, the planet's former sentient-race, were perhaps closely related... perhaps, Beipiaosaurus-people? (Just some imagination fuel for any future modders out there...)
This was a fantastic reward to end an exhausting week on! Honestly, it was great to hear your feelings and rankings of the legacy dinosaurs, and your rankings as a whole were really unorthodox and definitely subverted my expectations going into this, and kept me guessing all the way. I mean, who saw the Compy earning first place? Seems the adorably cute triumph over the terrifyingly monstrous... Also, that Dilophosaurus segment spat humor at us unsuspecting hunters in the best ways imaginable!
I don't know why people don't like the Carnivores' T-rex when I was a kid I hated the t rex design in games, books and other dino media but when I saw the Carnivores' T-rex, It became my favourite By the way, great video the only compliant is that it came too late (as with all your videos) but watching your videos after been uploaded feels very rewarding to me :)

This video was great Saurian, and I enjoy seeing your opinion when making these ranked lists. Carnivores+ is my favorite mod as it is the closest to and feels very much like the original game but yet has so much more to offer and expand upon. I can't wait to see what other aspects of the planet's lore and story telling is added and what new creatures are yet to be discovered and what new secretes are waiting to be revealed. I mentioned in your ambient countdown video, what I would love to see added is Deinosuchus, where it can swim and float at the surface of the water, lay at the bottom or close to shore waiting to ambush any prey or even unwary hunters, and even bask out along the shore banks and also swim out in the oceans.
I remember playing Carnivores Mobile for the first time, and my trophy room was filled with Parasaurolophus cause I was too scared to hunt anything else XD
My biggest issue with the Seismosaurus is the fact that it’s just a retextured Brachiosaurus and does nothing new or interesting with the skin or texture....it feels very much like the old age of modding

I have an idea for an ambient aquatic creature. When the claws of Therizinosaurus were first discovered, scientists believed it to be a giant turtle, so maybe it could be implemented into Carnivores+ as 'Therizinochelys', the scythe turtle
Another great review, the dinosaurs in this game are really something else, and I have to agree with most of your list, a lot of the new additions really do surpass the originals in many ways.

When I first saw the majungasaurus I thought of a new idea, it would be standing up like Godzilla but it’s head is going to look like majungasaurus, when it’s horns going to light up it’s powers is going to be electrical shock wave and the name of the kaiju is going to be called “raga” the primeval creature, in the Cretaceous period a ragasaurus went inside a mutagen volcano and got infected by it and it grows bigger and forming into a monster and others got infected by it
I would also suspect that the crest on dilophosaurus ( in carnivores plus ) could be also for attraction of a mate as well as regulating body temperature just like the earth variant.
About Dimorphodon not standing out, the thing is Saurian, Dimorphodon is not supposed to stand out. It's like saying saying I don't like butterflies or ants because they aren't cool, but like, they aren't supposed to be. It's an ambient animal, it's not supposed to stand out, it's there in the background, and so small ambient animals like it don't really belong on a list like this.
Now I’m pretty sure that those Therizinosaurus sounds are made by myself. Those were old ones that I’ve made years ago, but I don’t remember much. I do recognize the mule bray and the crow sound (which is used by ZT2 Stego/Kentro) even if the modders altered their speed. I appreciate the use but next time, be sure to give credit to me. ~ Ryan S.

I've just got an old HP desktop from Walmart. In my experience, I've found that Carnivores runs better on older, crappier machines and worse on new, high-end machines... xD
Seismosaurus should be a huntable ambient animal that doesn't appear on radar (like Iguanodon but it doesn't show on the map). It should also be extremely rare. This would make it more of a secret, paying homage to the original legend.
I gotta get this mod, but whenever I try downloading Carnivores 1, the sound doesn't exist. Just silence, so I don't know if it will happen to this mod too.
It shouldn't happen with this mod. I believe that sound problem is attributed to the C1 engine, and this mod uses the C2 engine, so you should be good!
I keep finding carnivores glitches were when the dinosaur attacks me but insted of it eating me i just see the running animation to the dinosaur freezed
I know it’s not about this video but..... I’m having problems with the sniper. I can not use the number key for it. So i can not use it when i have other weapons equiped.
Bring back carnivores challenges. My is the “Not Triassic Challenge” Creatures : Edaphosaurus, Estomentosuchus, Scutosaurus, and Goronops, and Megalosaurus Gojirasaurus is optional and the map for the challenge is Tatem Wastes
Not necessarily! The animals you select are what you have a license to hunt for full score, but it is meant to replicate a living world, so other animals you didn’t select may still appear on the maps

It's an ambient animal, it's not supposed to stand out, it's there in the background, and so small ambient animals like it don't really belong on a list like this.

Now I’m pretty sure that those Therizinosaurus sounds are made by myself. Those were old ones that I’ve made years ago, but I don’t remember much. I do recognize the mule bray and the crow sound (which is used by ZT2 Stego/Kentro) even if the modders altered their speed.

I've just got an old HP desktop from Walmart. In my experience, I've found that Carnivores runs better on older, crappier machines and worse on new, high-end machines... xD
Seismosaurus should be a huntable ambient animal that doesn't appear on radar (like Iguanodon but it doesn't show on the map). It should also be extremely rare. This would make it more of a secret, paying homage to the original legend.

I gotta get this mod, but whenever I try downloading Carnivores 1, the sound doesn't exist. Just silence, so I don't know if it will happen to this mod too.
It shouldn't happen with this mod. I believe that sound problem is attributed to the C1 engine, and this mod uses the C2 engine, so you should be good!
I keep finding carnivores glitches were when the dinosaur attacks me but insted of it eating me i just see the running animation to the dinosaur freezed

Not necessarily! The animals you select are what you have a license to hunt for full score, but it is meant to replicate a living world, so other animals you didn’t select may still appear on the maps

Um Saurian I tried getting far north but it doesn't have An RES. file.
Did you extract everything from the zip file? Sometimes the .res file won't extract all the way, but it should be in there!
