  • A less than 5 minute review of my 2007 KTM 200 XC that I regrettably sold. It had a full FMF Exhaust, Rekluse clutch upgraded foot pegs, Tusk levers, and Acerbis hand guards.
    It was very light and fun to ride with surprising low end power. Great bikes!

    I always ran the chain blocks the longest I could and forks up in the triple clamp all the way. Just too make it as long as possible. And a Scott’s is a must 👍🏻

    I’ve got an 08’ , looks like the same steering stabilizer. I love the bike. Point it at any hill or rock garden in 2nd or 3rd and you can tackle it. Don’t see my self ever getting a different bike. Can’t find something that mimics the light weight feel

      Agreed 100%. I sold it and got a 250 XCF. Fun bike but no comparison. I had a lot of friends tell me how well I could ride tech terrain when I had it and I realized later that it wasnt me, it was all the 200 XC. Best bike for the tricky stuff ever made.

    I've got an 08 ktm 200 XC. Awesome bike and thanks for the review. This is what convinced me to buy one. By the way- coolest graphics ever man!!

      Thanks! They are killer bikes. I sold mine (big mistake) and got a 2013 250 XCFW. I realized quickly that I didnt have great technical riding talent, and it was all the 200 XC’s capabilities. They really are amazing bikes. Enjoy.

    Sold my 99. Later I got a 2012 150. Big mistake selling the 99. The 150 was fine but nothing's better than the 200

      It does seem crazy they quit making them. Thanks for commenting.

      @@FunGoingFast I'm thinking it might have been an economic decision as the 150 platform could be sold worldwide whereas the 200 was a North America only bike. It certainly wasn't a performance or rideability decision. I'm on a 350 4-stroke now but I'm looking to add a vintage 200 to the stable

    I just picked one up for my stepson. It’s awesome. I gave 3k for it and after seeing this I think I got a pretty good deal. Great video!

      Hello. If its in good shape with no major issues I would consider that a very fair price.

      We paid $2500 for our 2008 200 XC. Best money spent!

    which is better for forest and hill climb kx250f 2010 or ktm exc 200 2007?

    • @FunGoingFast
      @FunGoingFast  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the question. The KX is a motocross bike and is built for the track. The suspension will be really firm and it will be geared for high revs and more top end power. The KTM 200 is made for trail riding so it will have much smoother suspension for the trail and can manage more technical terrain while still having a fun top end as a 2 stroke. The Kawasaki is a great machine for the track but the KTM will be much easier to ride on the trail.

    What oil do you use? the ktm threads all say different shit should I just got with the motorex 10w50 as the manual says?

      For gear oil? Yeah I always go with the manufacturer recommendations. I figure if they made it they know best to maintain it.

      @@zxr-me6dk Thats awesome. The bikes are an absolute blast. Very light and can kill in low speed tech stuff and they also rip. I put a Rekluse on mine and it was pretty much unstoppable. There really is no other bike like a 200. Enjoy!
