@@antoniochicas6503 no chip on my current key because previous owner bypassed the ignition with the original one instead of doing the resitors mod, literally the original key is connected underneath the steering column all the time and the key that starts the car well I carry that one. I did do the bypass module to delete vats completely but no luck It all indicates either my injectors are all clogged or my optispark went bad, I will be cleaning my fuel injectors first.
I have a 1995 Corvette exact same problem I've tried everything except for the bypassing you did I will be doing this first thing tomorrow morning thankyou I've spent countless hours try to find out why it only runs for 3 seconds
@@jeffmill3455 the fuel enable wire is a dark blue color. You can find it at the vats module behind the radio and glove compartment area. Or you can look online for your year pcm to find the fuel enable wire since the pcm is on passenger side of the engine bay by the firewall. You just splice into the fuel enable wire with the vats bypass chip and the chip will send a signal to the pcm instead of the vats module sending out the signal
I asked for info on a 1995 3800 series V6 the color code on the wires are different . so does any one have any helpful info on the V6 setup same problem
There should be a bolt on the driver side like in front of your left knee if youre sitting in the driver seat, bottom dash towards the door. There should be a couple ground wires there. Instead of having all those grounds running on your seat bolts, you could run them like through the dash to the driver side, and terminate them all on that bolt. I have a 94 Z im fixing up, so idk o guess the V6 cars should have the same bolt or maybe one on the same place on the passenger side. Good job though! I had a 96 RS when i was prolly 19 and had to do everything you did with this one plus rebuild the engine and trans lol!
Eventually I moved the grounds to that location on the passenger side. It got to a point where if I had a passenger in the car and they put their foot in the wrong spot the car didn’t start so I had to fix it haha

Do you have a chip in your key or no chip?

It’s very likely the vats system. Let me know if you have troubles bypassing it. I know the vats system inside and out lol

How did you get off the harness clip for the tdm? lol
That is the same condition I got my 1995 Pontiac firebird project car it is now running and road legal

the wire colors are the same for the TDR and VATS between the all engines for the 4th gen Camaros
