- Grey Muzzle Rescue was owned and operated for the last 10 years by Thayne and Chris Hamilton, until Chris tragically passed away in their home on 2/27/13. They specialized their rescue by adopting un-adoptable and/or severely abused Dogs. They took in the worst of the worst abuse cases from all over the Nation. Grey Muzzle Rescue gives them their "Forever Home". It was Chris's dying wish that Thayne continue the rescue work they lived and loved to do together and Thayne has done just that! Wait until you see what we lined up for Thayne to help him with his life mission.

when people look up to kim kardashian their dream goal is to have a body that would get them guys (which is actually what's happening right now, everything revolves around body image)
but if we had someone like this beautiful woman in the spotlight imagine how wise the next generation will be !
They are just famous with equally shallow crassy materialistic people like them. Which unfortunately many Americans are. Nothing is more proof than the popularity of Hollywood celebrities or celebrity politicians like Hillary or Obama. Full of air nothing in substance.

I got about 3 minutes into the video and was bawling! The past 2 dogs we have owned were resuce dogs. The first a Keshound was abused my men beating her with a hose and yet....after my son was born she laid in our doorway from when he went to sleep and wouldn't buge an inch until he woke up! She helped my son with walking would let him pull on her fur to get up and she walked beside him. She would let me lay all over her (I have many pics where I have my head on her back and she's just chillin there smiling at the camera!) Sadly she passed away 6 years ago, now we have another mutt who loves to play! Ruby loves my son just as much as Cheyenne did couldn't think about my life without them!

And that incredibly depressing story of his wife slowly bleeding to death is why America needs universal health care, paid through tax dollars, especially, taxing the rich & large corporations. What an incredible, humble, kind and selfless couple they were - she died to guarantee the dogs would be safe, with no medical bills, denying debt collectors the ability sell their property. Amazing. Thank you so much for saving the most desperate, voiceless dogs in your country. I have a little rescue shih tzu myself, lover her to bits!

Talk It Up TV Absolutely, thank you so much for putting this together, giving him such a generous donation (and then, going to the local pet store to inform the owner of the rescue, what a great little pet shop too), letting him share his story and the legacy his wife has left him and the dogs, he seemed to find it very therapeutic to talk about the past, the impact the dogs have on him and the kindness and selflessness of his late wife. And thank you so much to the lady who interviewed him (she was so sweet and empathetic) for asking her lawyer friend to help the rescue set up a 501C, to become a charity and accept donations. Lovely story, great work by the whole team!
Skulls Ain't Dead : Taxing the rich and corporations? Do you understand what you are saying? IFTHE RICH AND CORPORATIONS GET A TAX INCREASE, THEY WILL RAISE THE PRICES OF THE SERVICES AND PRODUCTS THEY SELL, TO WHOM? TO US!!!. We will be paying those tax increases.
LS I live in Australia dude, we have universal healthcare, taxes work! I don't have to pay to see a doctor (most people don't, so a GP visit is free; it's cheaper than emergency visits to the ER from the Government's perspective), I get 'free' medical treatment, I just rock up to the public hospitals if I've got a broken leg or whatever and it's all paid for through taxes (taxing the rich in particular, we have a tax-free threshold for low income earners, so they don't pay income tax up to a certain point, about $20,000 year).
Our medication cots are much lower, as the buying power of the entire country is able to negotiate for a fair price on new drugs through the government, versus in America, where the whole system is build on profit and maximising shareholders earnings, so the little guy (you) gets screwed (you alone don't have any purchasing power when talking to a multi-national pharmaceutical company, or when buying your healthcare policy, they will charge you more because you have to buy private insurance and expensive drugs, you'll get sick and even die without it, you have no influence to lower the prices).
Also, don't be so foolhardy to believe corporations have the interests of the public and their employees at heart, their sole purpose is profit, so they don't care if 100,000 jobs go overseas, it's cheaper for their bottom line. They don't care if their workers get sick, they'll just replace them. They don't care if your working longer hours for less pay, they'll just replace you with someone who will work for less than your already low wage. They don't care if they pollute your backyard and cause lead poisoning in your water. This is why it's so important for government's to implement tough laws against anti-competitive behavior, consumer rights, pollution and tax avoidance. Yes, some of the taxes incurred by big business will be passed onto consumers, but we tend to tax profit above revenue, and these businesses should pay their fare share - I'm paying mine! I'd much prefer to pay higher taxes and have some taxes passed-on by businesses, than to live in a society where I would be unable to afford basic healthcare and medication.

Wow I love him. We need more people like him. Thank you so much for helping him. There are so very many dogs out there that need places like this and not enough people to love them all. I am adopting a senior dog as soon as I can, it just fills me with joy and love to see all these dogs living out the rest of their lives in this little slice of heaven on earth. What a wonderful man. I am so sorry he lost his beautiful wife, she was an angel. They NEVER should have had to choose between medical care and their rescue! The health care situation in this country is just shameful. God bless this wonderful man and his dogs and you for doing such amazing things for people:)

How anyone could not be touched by what these two beautiful souls have done and what Thayne continues to do so selflessly is remarkable and gives such a beautiful feeling to know there are such amazing people in this world. What an honor it would had been to shake his hand. Well done for not only a heart touching story but an amazing demonstration of compassion for our fur friends. May his beautiful wife rest peacefully knowing that her passion goes on. I pray support continues to flourish for this wonderful man.

Awesome job helping this guy and his dogs. We need more people like him in this world to help the animals. It's been a dream of my wife and I to have a dog rescue for many years, hoping that one day we will be financially able to do it. We have a name already as we dream about it. Many Mutts Rescue. How come some people had the heart of not liking this video? This man has one of the biggest hearts I've heard of. He and his wife made the biggest sacrifice to save them... I wish people have a kinder heart and stop abusing these animals, they gave feelings too! Please spay and neuter them so we can stop this issue of unwanted and homeless babies (dogs) ... Is the beginning of letting them fall into the wrong hands

Yep. I cried. I cried a lot. From about 2 minutes in. And still teary eyed after the clip. What an amazing thing to do for a dog rescuer and the dogs that are there. Kudos to that small business owner for contributing his merchandise to the cause and support of the dogs and dog rescuer. Nice to see something good come to dogs that were mistreated and the like. I think the next dog I adopt will be an elderly one or one with that needs some TLC. They really don't get the chance they deserve.

As a former LEO, I saw so many useless people on Gov't handouts that did NOTHING all day and cause problems All night. Then we have a man like this that survives of what he can. Our priorities are NOT in the right place. God bless these young man for what he does. I will be looking him up and donate to his 501. You should too.

I really needed to sit down to watch this video on what this man and his wife do for the dogs and for what the woman did by visiting the gray muzzle and his friends also was there to see what Anna did by giving him that check for the helpless dogs and for the pet shop did for the dogs was great again thank you for your story and I know if his wife was still on this earth she would be so happy to see the dogs wasn't forgotten. The American healthcare system sickens me... his wife would still be alive if healthcare was free like almost every other first world country... I can't imagine what it must be like to think that you'd have to make a choice between your wife or your home and the livelihood you've built...
This man deserved this. I watch this video to remind me that there is good in the world... that there are amazing people, not just the man running the shelter for the dogs, but the local business owners and the TalkItUp-TV staff too... this video is heartwarming.
+Mamamew TheRani When I heard it I could not believe it, and to hear that people die simply for not being able to receive medical care. It is so incredible that people in US do not have free healtcare, like many countries do. Apsolutely unbelievable!
Fun fact, the only place on American soil that ever received free healthcare was Guantanamo Bay. The terrorists, serial killers and rapists actually have better healthcare than the regular hard-working citizens.
I really recommend to anyone to watch Michael Moore's documentary on the subject, where you see people with cancer having to give up their homes to pay for treatment and people having to choose between surgeries as they couldn't afford them all. A woman actually tried to get herself arrested for declining people's request for healthcare benefits because she felt she was murdering people. Hillary Clinton had been silenced for years by people paying millions to try to hide all of the statistics about an NHS system.
It really sickens me how Americans are treated by their own government.
The only thing good to come out of this maltreatment is the show "Breaking bad" which is entirely centred around people doing terrible things just to pay for health insurance.
You know life is bad when people find relatable moments in a show about a guy making meth so he can pay for cancer treatment.
People who abuse animals need to be sent to me. I can take very good care of such people.

I cryed it touched my heart
This is the Greatest sight on U Tube, Although this actually made me tear up! When I saw the dog that had to be wheeled,It is very hard for me to see.I have always been an animal lover, I learned throughout my life, that they give unconditional love. I have mentioned this sight to so many of my friends, of course animal lovers too. I was volunteering at an animal clinic, and there was this 4 month old kitten, loose that the clinic was keeping, I asked why, then i found out that due to he being the runt of the litter, no none wanted him due to him having only, born with 3 Paws, he was so under developed, and was literally shunned, so I did adopt him. 18 years later, and he is just as frisky as he was when I brought him home, and the most lovable cat I have ever had. He is my PUNKIN" Any way God Bess you all, and the wonderful work you are doing. Will always be watching!

I'm glad that you got him the legal help to keep the rescue going and funded, and assuring that this great work will continue even after he is gone, as i'm sure he worries about what will happen. how terribly the medical community failed them. However, now their dream will live on.
