    Using drags more and more,time saver when making sets and have never had to look far at all most cases hardly move the drag in the thick cover I'm used to trapping.Thanks and safe travels.

    Good information Dale. I need to get away from using the disposable Berkshire stakes. The set is always destroyed and they are a pain to get out of ground

      Your exactly right Dale I’ve come to use lots of drags preserve the set without the burn ring and fast to get more traps in the ground only down side is Mr sticky fingers has no problem walking away with the traps

    Can you use cable to attach your drag?

    • @billingsleybrandtrappinglu1531

      You can Bill but I suggest you use 1/8 inch and I personally would like to see you go out to 12-15 ft in length , just to insure the drag stays in the ground. I'm afraid at 10 ft you might get some bouncing and skipping of the drag . Just my thoughts. Thank you for watching

    Thank you for sharing the knowledge! Does the amount of brush in the area determine how long the chain should be? There are very little open spaces where I trap, with lots of brush and trees. Thanks again Dale!

      lol never mind my dumb question. On my second view I caught the answer! That’s what happens when someone talks to me when I’m trying to watch your videos! Thanks again Dale

    I'm utilizing drags for first time this year in western WV .In MD i used disposable stakes . Too rocky here so I'm precuttin 4" -6" 10' trees at my sets ,long chain,2 heavy fence staples .

    Why are you using a mb550. I thought you had a video where you say the mb trap pans throw the animals foot?

    • @billingsleybrandtrappinglu1531
      @billingsleybrandtrappinglu1531  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a Duke 550 PA and it's what I had handy 😂. I took the drag back off after I shot the video. Thank you for watching

      @billingsleybrandtrappinglu1531 o I thought I heard mb sorry. Lol I was gonna say I bought a dozen Duke 550s after watching your video on the mb traps

      @@patrappingandoutdoors2210 yea so the MB 650 pan is 50 % dead. The folcrum is on a 90 degree angle instead of a 45. Makes only the front 1/2 of the pan viable. The back half is dead
