I tried sim today with A10A Early and Mav 65 D. Target image won’t render proper unless I was 3km or closer to target. Meanwhile, convoys are protected with Laser Aiming Gapard. I died 7 times trying to kill the same convoy. It felt like like the opening Scene of Terminator Salvation, where A-10’s are shot down by skynet AA’s
@@aLm0e nobody really knows, the Missles just go stupid the longer the match goes on. Air to Air Missles stop flying straight and just wobble around and air to ground missiles just miss their Targets completely

Good to see the A-6E's thermal quality still is high, I still don't think it was intentional judging from the game files but can't complain, don't have it either. I feel they will fix it tho when a tech tree indruder is added however, so that'd suck.

When I lock my mavs on a target, launch it, and then go back into the TV to lock another target, my TV sight is reset back to pointing straight forward out of the aircraft making me have to drag my mouse all the way down again and relocate targets. Thanks!!
Dear Hunter, thanks for the video. I need your guidance (pun intended) about GBUs. In realistic I use third person crosshair to know when to drop them. How do you know the right time to drop them in sim? I'm always scared to overshoot or have them fall short... Thanks!

Hello my friend, I believe it is possible with flight stick, you need to bind "Gunner Aiming Control X\Y Axis" buttons to your stick hat buttons and try both Relative ON\OFF to see which one is better for you, give it a try. Thanks a lot :)
They nerfed SPAA in air sim, they still can kill you but their accuracy is not OP anymore, if you were slow and flying in straight line you will still be shot.

@@Hunter_i86 I would keep my secondary weapon for more armored target (especially the Mavs') and use canon for open/non-armored target. Personnal opinion obviously and I'm not sure it's relevant.
Ideally you are right, in a pure PVE environment .. but in PVP you want to drop all secondary armament as fast as possible and be lighter to be prepared for any enemy interceptor. Also if you check the map there was no tanks left when I was using Mav on infantry, all enemy armored units were destroyed. @@smash79

Hello, hmmm .. a jet with SAS Damping, IFF radar and you feel comfortable when flying it .. watch out for friendly fire and be patient before pressing the launch button. Good Luck :)
if you're relatively close enough and you have speed, the bomb will simply glide to your target, alternatively you could drop on top of the target or you can use CCRP to drop it in level flight
@@Boris_The_Turtle it is terrible in DCS because mouse is only for free look, while in WT you can use mouse to do slight adjustments when aiming or maneuvering, I use WASDQE mainly for wide turns with planes and helicopters .. trimming and virtual joystick in DCS is better than in WT though.
@@Hunter_i86 after controls reset it worked but i cant really figure out what's causing it both are relative control modes i will try to copy my controls one by one in a new file 😢

I can’t get my “set target for squad” to work. It only appears when I’m on the runway for some reason.
It works up to a certain distance I think. Try pointing closer to your aircraft

Try SAS Damping for both jets and helicopters (not all of them have this technology)

why don't you use the 30 mm on the antitank canon M40 ?
I do when I spot them .. also I usually start using cannon after consuming all secondary weapons.

Watch for "point" word next to GBUs. It is a good indication that your approach is correct and it is time to drop the bomb.

When you switch to TV you still can use pitch, roll and yaw keyboard buttons.
it doesn't work with me for both a10 versions of Agm
