Hello Hunter, Great Video! I've found the best way to take out carriers is to fly low and drop bombs into their hull as close to the waterline. This will do much more damage also causing flooding. Besides, you can also target different compartments much more easily. Yes its much more risky but I've been able to survive. If you get a teamate to distract the Carriers AA defence it would be much better. Droping bombs from above just hits the armoured deck without great results. Low level attack in the Tornado with x12 1000pds is quite good. I think assult fuse is the best as the bombs will detonate in contact, meaning they won't sink and the water will absorb the damage, just pull out in time ;D . With your skills youd probably be able to destoy it in 2 sorties. Would be great to see a video of you trying it out!
Hello my friend, I wish modern jets have Torpedo, that would be interesting to try haha, thanks a lot for sharing your experience .. maybe will try it with one of the Harriers since they are easier to control than the Tornado in sim.

Very nice to watch and encourages more people to play sim or come back to war thunder like me. The problem with sim i face is the controls. I know how to do the basic stuff like you have told me before but i just can't match your controls even throught experimenting. Please can you make a video on you controls in depth for sim or a quicker solution of making a file of your controls and just having the link to download it in you description. Please consider this and keep up the amazing vids especially of sim as it helps grows the sim community leading to Gajin paying more attention to it and making them invest more of their money and time into refining it. Thank you and again please consider this.
My controls are not the best my friend, you will need a lot of practice using any type of controls .. I keep tapping pitch up button when turning, a lot of people will find it annoying but I guess I just got used to. Thanks a lot :)
@@Hunter_i86 thank you for considering my comment and i will try my best to practise/get use to my own controls but for things such as with the mouse joystick is there any way for me to keep it from not reseting to default position without constantly drag my mouse up and down and lastly when i pitch with more side mouse buttons, my pitch will be the maxium g's i can pull and i was wondering if there was anyway to turn down the sensitivety or stop it from pulling so hard. @@Hunter_i86 its been a couple of days ithibk you advice has helped me, I feel it is easier to fly and I was able to successfully attack a convoy in an a10late with mavericks. I think this is just an experience problem but I found hard to strafe the mbts with the hydras I took with. Anyway thank you for your advice it has helped alot
So do you use an X52 Professional H.O.T.A.S. or some kind of Sim flight stick? I bought one awhile back with the TrackerIR and Rudder pedals but I don't like how I have the items key bind to the game. Do you have a set up for that f you own a set up? If so do you have a place where it can be copied from or a link?
I’m leaving SIM for a while because the rewards are frustrating. Last night I played several hours, focused on objectives and base bombing, about 10k points. All I got was 34,000 RP. Months ago I would have earned 100k, but new reward system leaves a lot to be desired. Back to Tiger II’s and Sherman’s
You might be better off doing the low level attack at the water line with the gbu low level strike exploit (?)with the A6 right now and poke holes in the hull
Man, during these days it's almost impossible to play Mig-27k with the amount of anti-cas (F-16, F-14). Every match has or will have at least 2 fighters.

@Hunter_i86 There's a timer?! I just got the tram recently, tried in test flight for a while then tried in sim. Was only able to get kills with the GBUs when I dropped right over it, like a dumb bomb. I didn't even know you could change the sight to bombs, let alone, how to interpret or use it. I feel a lack of GBU tutorials for sim.
2000lb bombs work better. Approach from the front at low altitude. Drop from front to rear. Carrier will sink almost immediately.
