I was stopped by police and he asked me do I know why he pulled me over. I pointed at box in my passenger seat and told him because he smelled my donuts. He laughed and only gave me warning to stay under speed limit. Lol I was nervous from hearing about bad police and was just trying to calm my anxiety down. I'm glad he had a sense of humor about it.

My nephew loved Krispy Kreme Donuts. There was one in our city. He vowed when he was old enough he was going to work there.
I never saw anyone so devastated when the company closed. You would have thought he lost his best friend. So, on my way back from Florida, I noticed a Krispy Kreme at the Detroit airport. I purchased (the flat box) 6 for him and proudly and protectively carried the box in my hands from and through the Detroit airport, on the plane, through the Toronto airport and home to my nephew.
I'm less sad than I was before I watched this. And I want a donut. Ok, 4 donuts.
Jim's tone and the way he delivers his joke so silly without seeming like he's trying to appeal to children is a truly unique comedy it makes me feel the same way because it's so simple and complex at the same time

My grandmother grew up in Kentucky and knew how to make home-style cake donuts. They were really great until they cooled down. After that, we could use them as hockey pucks. Perhaps I should have made a painting of them.

I’m visiting Portland and looked up iconic foods here-a big one is Voodoo Doughnuts. Since I’m flying out in the morning, I got my brother and half his sales team to go at the end of the night when they finished work. We were each going to buy one donut and were taking a while to choose, bc half the flavors we asked for were gone since it was so late. Then the worker was like, “We’re about to close, just buy a dozen and I’ll give you a good deal and make sure you get good ones.” So we paid $20, and did she ever pull through! Not one box (stuffed with more than 12, btw), but 2 large stuffed boxes and a frickin BUCKET full of donuts!!! Not a small bucket either; it’s like 3 gallons! 😂 I’ve never seen so many donuts before! Haha we tipped her an extra $10, but now I think she probably deserved more!

Had a similar experience with TSA while flying to Hawaii. Had 2 dozen raspberry filled, powder sugar covered (angel donuts) and had to try to explain how there are NONE in Hawaii and its for uhm... gifts...

Freshly made, hand-dipped to order, with more toppings than you could imagine (NOT a challenge). I've never done that, but I have definitely brought boxes of donuts home from vacation by car (the only way I travel). There used to be a local place where I grew up south of Los Angeles called Donut Master. If you came close to closing and bought a dozen, the owner would just throw in 2-4 extra donuts (whatever he could just squeeze into the box). I know he was just getting rid of them for the day's cleanup, but he didn't have to. Good memories.
