- This is a short video review of the Bachmann E-Z Command Digital Command Train Control System that I bought on Ebay for use on my Finwick Quay N-Gauge model railway layout.
During this video we will take a brief look at the box contents and then use of the unit, including reassigning a locomotive address.
I can anybody tell me about ez if i had a train and it was set to address 30 will it work if i put in 3 and 0 on the buttons or do i have to change the address to 1-9
I got mine and it was 10/10
:)
What make of decoder do you use with your controller? Thanks.
Whatever comes with the loco normally.
AWESOME!!!😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁🎈😁
Thanks! 😄
I am thinking of buying this product. on a scale of 1-10 , how good does it work and does it come with sound?
I'd go with something more expensive if I were you.
Question I have three engines that I purchased from someone who had programed them for 3 digit operations and I'm having trouble reprogramming them for the selections on the ez Command.
The best I can get out of them is the hum without moving and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong any ideas?
Sorry, I would not know. I would suggest getting some proper advice for your local model shop.
Tried my new bachmann today! But for some reason my loco only works on program 10 ? The loco is dcc ready ??
It needs to be DCC Equipped. DCC Ready means you still need to chip it
Plus,If you use it on DCC and it's still running on dc,Hope you like to use melted motors.

another thing to keep in mind is the lack of power. Only has a 1amp transformer in it. Use more than 3 engines and u are in trouble
actually I have run four engines with no problems at all
Useful to know. thank you for the comment.
Interesting thought.
I would save ur money for something better. I bought this junk and a month into it it blew up. Had to send it back to Bachmann and ur are responsible for all the shipping and handling back to them. So save ur money and buy something better
I really wish that I had. If I had been continuing with the project, I would have invested in a better controller.
