How do you connect analog controller to ez command plus since it’s missing the port needed for analog ?

Do both of these work with Bachmann’s On30 locos?

Are these plug and play on EZ Track? Or do I have to wire my track up like i would have to with NCE powercab?

They just plug right in to your terminal track. I have a booster on my layout, but you don’t really need it if your layout is relatively small. I really like the Bachmann DCC and it has no trouble running 4-5 locomotives at one time. I’m more limited by the number of trains that I can mentally/ physically use as I only have a single main line with passing sidings.

@@tommys_trucks_trains_tractors If they plug into the terminal track do they still work with DC locomotives?

Yeah I accidentally plugged in the power cord before the track cord and now it no longer provides power to the track.

Are these compatible with other model brands like broadway limited or Walthers?

Yes. I run a Rivarossi with it. I think they all come preprogrammed for F3, but don’t hold me to it. Thank You for watching

Don't waste your money on this Controller and Switches or Bachmann EZ Track or the controller. They are expensive garbage made in China. I bought 19 of the switches, 80 to 90 feet of the track. Six of switches have quit working and will not even switch manually. The dealer will not exchange them after 30 days and Bachmann will ignore you. I have a little over $684.oo invested in just the switches. I really don't have any option but to buy atlas track, roadbed and looking into Peco switches, with tortoise switch machines.. I bought the EZ Command controller too and had to return it for a replacement, that I had to send right back to the dealer too. I also wasted money on the 5 amp Bachmann booster. The controllers are $200.oo a pop and the Booster was $365.oo That was over $1,600.oo wasted. It really pisses me off the time I took planning, laying and ballasting that garbage. NOW I HAVE TO RIP IT ALL UP AND REPLACE IT. This craps going to cost me over $3000.oo to fix. I bought a Digitrax Zephyr express for a DCC controller.

i’m sorry this has happened to you. i too bought the 5a booster and reverse loop dcc module for my HO layout. i didn’t buy any dcc switches, but i did sell every stick of n scale ez track in favor of kato. it’s tough to find a good starter set anymore and you almost have to custom build a set from scratch which is very costly. thank you for watching

It is important if I plug the track before the power cord or vice versa? Ridiculous and embarassing for Bachmann.
In general US-american DCC-manufactures are unbelievable primitive at least as the user interface is concerned. Only NCE or the Digitrax Zephyr might compete with German or Austrian manufactures - a bit.
Try e.g. a Trix mobile station which comes in a wired or a wifi version. The mobile station from Märklin is identical and supports DCC as well, but its defaults are orientated at their proprietary protocol. As far as I know it is the most cost effective variant, but there are multiple better, but more expensive systems arround.
