- In this video I'm going to be doing an unboxing of the Invidia Gemini exhaust and removal of the stock exhaust and install of the new exhaust with sound clips of the new exhaust. Let me know what you think of the video/ what could be improved. What should the next mod be? Subscribe to find out. Thanks :)
The x-pipe section looks good, like the siamesed x-pipe design on mine.
I went with a Fast Intentions true dual x-pipe CBE. It differs in that the pipes are shorter with gentler bends and having only a couple of resonators for mufflers. With the Stillen Gen 3 long tube CAI and an Ecutek tune done on a Dynojet chassis dyno, we got 321 peak rwhp, about 382 at the crank. Your exhaust does sound very good.
Video was good all the way around and very explainable will watch this when I put a new exhaust on my 4 banger fusion... 👍🏽
Hahaha love u
Nice, doesn't seem too loud - which I prefer. Also, it's definitely stainless steel.. likely 304 grade stainless. A titanium CBE would set you back at least double the price.
Yeah, just the tips are titanium
I think this one is my favorite. Love that it’s fairly quiet, but much deeper. Sounds awesome and polished. We have the same head unit too! Well I did put a wifi iPad above it though for full screen music videos with Alpine 8’s and a 12.
WD40 silicone for hanger slides like butter
You killed it again... as always. Keep it up, I’m so proud of you. Love you bubba!
Dude, are you going underneath a car raised on a Harbor Freight floor jack with no jackstand supports? Spend the few bucks and get a couple of jack stands and a couple of wheel chocks; your young life is worth it.
i just bought the tomei for my 370z cant wait till it get here
Awesome man that’s awesome to hear I really like the tomei too. If you’d like to keep up the build and like my videos I’d love to have you as a subscriber to the channel and maybe you can get some similar mods! Thanks again for your support!
@@chrisgotham4321 for sure
Awesome! Good luck on the exhaust install!
Just purchased this for my stock 2014 Q50s
Uniden gang 💪
Has saved my life plenty of times! Hahaha stay tuned by subscribing to the channel and we will bring you plenty of speed content in the near future 😆
Tell me what you think of the exhaust! Which exhaust do you have or do you plan on buying for your 370z or equivalent. Thank you for your support, it means the world!
Nice bro! I was considering the same one. Quick question, which stereo is that and were you able to keep steering wheel button functions?
@@LuckyNotes it depends on the wire adapter you use, I can’t use the radio controls on my steering wheel but the cruise control still works. A good brand to look at for wiring is Maestro and if you get a good head unit it’ll give you a lot more functions than stock and also you can have digital gauges on the screen if the head unit is capable.
I love The sound
Nice ride bro
yes sounds great
It will get louder after bout 6 months but its so beautiful sounding in the cabin but i also have Berks hfc.
When I bought my Z it already had a injen intake and invidia high flow cats and an n1 catback, however they also welded in a couple of extra resonators in the pipe. It has zero drone and sounds great, minimal trumpet vq noise but I can hear it really muffle any crackles I'd be getting with my uprev tune... thinking of getting the gemini or just getting a shop to cut out the resonators and weld pipe back in, but I don't want it to sound super obnoxious
I put the same exhaust on my 08 350z...be prepared for it to get a bit more vocal, with slight pops n bangs after a few thousand miles
Hell yeah, thanks!
I thought about getting the Invidia exhaust on my 2014 370 touring but when with the Greddy instead
So cool!
Sound System overview next?
Nice bro , did feel any gains compared to stock exhaust
Yeah it gave it a pretty good amount of pep when you get on it 4K rpm and above!
@@chrisgotham4321 nice bro
I do plan on tuning the car if you’d wanna subscribe and catch the power output if you’re interested in the build I’d really appreciate the support and have you as a subscriber!
@@chrisgotham4321 yes bro I would love too and all the wishes to ur bill
Great video! I’m thinking about getting one since I’m hearing from others that it’s not obnoxiously loud. Is there any drone from the exhaust?
Hey! :) is this V1 or V2?
Sounds great.
Great video! Did you get all the gaskets with the exhaust included?
Mine did
Power before power after?
Are the invidias lighter then stock? Any check engine lights?
I dont think your gonna have to worry about a check engine light until you start messing with Catalyetic converters/ test pipes
marginally lighter than stock
Have u gotten your car tune as yet bro
Had this exhaust on my 370 with art pipes , it was too quiet so I ended up selling it and getting and isr single
Yeah I can see how someone would want something with less restriction and more sound output. That’s why I just put on test pipes if you’d wanna check out that video. Love to have you as a subscriber if you like the content and I intend on making this a fully built car in the future.
@@chrisgotham4321 sounds good I subscribed 👍
Thanks man I love the support!!!!
How many gaskets are required for this install? I'm counting 8 mating points but I only have 6. Haven't installed yet.
Yeah I think 6
@@chrisgotham4321 thanks for the reply ! I only installed 6. Think it needed 8. Where the exhaust meets the cats it seems to have a small leak regardless of how tight it is
Some wd40 would go a long way. My hangers come off without issues with some
How long do you think it took you install that exhaust?
2-3 hours
You add hi flow cats yet ?
I did catless test pipes, but yeah I’ve had it for awhile now. Will try to upload video tonight if more sounds of it
anyone know the purpose of the springs on the Y pipes?
keeping tension during the high heat and cooldowns over and over again
Where did you get these at?
Amazon!
Horse power difference?
Not enough to matter
too quiet
