  • Row Focus Row-N-Ride Workout
    In this Row-N-Ride Row-focused workout, Sunny trainer Matt guides you through 2 unique ways you can target the muscles in your back, posterior shoulders, and arms. While this workout is designed to give your back some extra attention, you can use this workout to strengthen a variety of muscles. When selecting your resistance for this workout, be sure to pick a resistance that’s appropriate for your fitness level. If you’ve never used the Row-N-Ride machine, we recommend starting with one resistance band. If you find you’re ready to increase the difficulty of your workout, feel free to add more resistance bands when you’re ready. When stabilizing the machine with your front foot during the single arm bent over rows, make sure to place the middle of your foot on the rear frame. If you are rowing with your left arm you should be stabilizing the machine with your left foot. Switch arms and feet to perform the right side.
    Workout Details:
    100 Squats and Row reps
    REST 30 SECONDS
    15 Single arm bent over rows (right)
    15 Single arm bent over rows (left)
    REST 30 SECONDS
    Completed a second set of single arm rows.
    REST 30 SECONDS
    100 Squats with Row reps
    15 Single arm squat and rows (right)
    15 Single arm squats and rows (left)
    REST 30 SECONDS
    Completed a second set of single arm rows.
    REST 30 SECONDS
    100 Squats with Row reps

    I was very skeptical about this machine, even first day I tried it. Until I tried this workout. I must say I'm very impressed and looks can be deceiving. Great workout ,great machine 🙂💪👍👌

      Do your hands or fingers get sore from the grips?
      What do you recommend to avoid repetitive use injury in my fingers if doing longer 30 minute sessions?

    This is great! I recently purchased this machine and have been working out for 3 days with it. I would love to get my honey into it and hope to see more vids from Matt. Not that I don't love working out with Sofee and Sydney. I think it might be more motivation if honey saw that this machine is as useful to men workouts, and not just for women looking to grow their glutes.

    Wow! I couldn’t make it thru the last 100, so I marched in place til my heart rate came down!
    Apple Watch Stats:
    Warm up 1 min
    Fat Burn 12 min
    Cardio 7 min
    Peak 5 min! Including marching in place 5 min until heart rate came back to normal!

      Are you able to get your heart rate above 160 on this machine and get completely out of breath?
      Does it work well for threshold steady state training at 140-160 for 30+ minutes non-stop?

    His workout sessions are the best! Does he have the seat set all the way to the lowest squat length? I'm 5'10, 170lbs any suggestions on the postures for me?

    I mainly feel it in my quads, maybe a bit of my back and arms.

      It is possible that the discomfort you are experiencing could be from improper posture. When using the row-n-rider, your back should not round forward during each squat. This means that your back should be straight from hips to head and your shoulders should not be rounded forward. If you cannot maintain this position during each squat, you must decrease the depth and/or resistance bands while squatting until you can maintain good form with each rep.

    Maybe I am doing something wrong but with all 3 resistance bands for 20 minutes my HR barely hit 140. No heart medications.
    Am I doing something wrong? Can more resistance be added?

      Thank you for reaching out. We do not recommend adding more than the 3 resistance bands that come with our Row-N-Ride. We do however offer the Row-N-Ride Plus model which does have more bands for more challenging workout!       Thank you for reaching out! Each resistance band provides approximately 22LBs of resistance, and it comes with 3 resistance bands. Our fitness trainers who regularly lift weights still find it challenging when used for longer periods of exercise, or high intensity cardio. To monitor heart rate while using this machine, we recommend using your own heart monitor or fitness watch.       What lol. He's working out.. how would you expect him to breath? Would show me that the machine isn't too good if it doesn't get him breathing heavily.
