- Lets drive the 2020 BMW M4 CS and see what makes it so special! Check out this stripped out version of the legendary 2020 BMW M4!! In today's video we check out the 2020 BMW M4 CS! This model is in between the standard M4 Competition and the GTS so it's the most comfortable street car with all of the track capabilities!
It has carbon fiber everywhere including the roof for a lower center of gravity and stripped door panels to help reduce weight! The hood is completely carbon fiber and weighs nothing! So crazy how light weight it was to open and close. The twin turbo engine has more power than the standard M4 Competition and has a beautiful carbon fiber strut brace. It's a very comfortable car to drive and obviously handles incredibly well! This really had that old school mechanical feeling where you can just feel everything the M4 CS is doing while driving. The interior materials are very nice and the back seats are even functional! They fold down to making this a practical daily driver as well as the track car it is!
I loved driving the 2020 M4 CS because it just felt so pure! BMW makes amazing drivers cars and this new 2020 M4 CS was a blast to drive!!

I used to own one of those cars but it was a Comp, but now I sold it for a 2005 M3 CSL which is more expensive then the M4 and pretty rare so that’s why I bought it

Tbh I can’t imagine a car that beautiful costing any less.. like when you see that car go down the road it looks more than 100k. If you think about it the interior is not bad for a Super sports car.
Still a beautiful interior! They made the design very timeless if you have m sport + technology package on a 3 series

Yeah good point. And it looks more exotic minus the exotic price tag.
But eventually there will be a abundant of c8 and it wont have that exclusively. But that's ok cause more people can own a fun car

Corvette c8- that comments rubbish, what happens if you live in UK and you want 2 usable back seats. Also it’s a mid engine sports car. So again just not relevant.

A 4-seater and 2-seater isn't a direct comparison really as a 2-seater is even closer built for purpose of sport. M4 is essentially a 4-series built to a sports car. C8 is simply originated from a sports car from the start.

You can do anything you want lol! A door panel probably wouldn't be too hard depending on how much you wanted to change. But for a price, anything is possible.

I've seen a few wide body kits on this car, and lowering it just a bit, gives it a crazy aggressive look!
It's a nice car, but I don't understand how BMW can justify an 100k sticker price for a car like this, when a Lexus car (a top luxury brand) sells it's vehicles for less than half the price of this, a little bit over 40k. And a Lexus truly seems and feels luxurious
While it might have a luxurious interior, that’s not all you are paying for. A Lexus that cost half as much as this BMW won’t have the same power, performance or handling characteristics. You are paying for that performance as well. Not even the same type of vehicles to compare.

Where do you know that from because standard M4 lease is about $779 with 5K due at signing. Seems unlikely that the CS would cost only a bit more.
Daniel G most m4 cs cost less than 900 in New York due to them not sellin well. If you put 5-6k down they almost always cost 800-900
this, toyota corolla, audi r8 and nissan gtr are my dream cars😩😩

I'd buy a used GTR for 50k and use 10k in mods.
You can even buy a used m4 and just mod it will be just as fast.. and a Redesign is coming soon so there’s no point in spending 100 K on an old design car.......
engine is underrated. between the tailights, additional carbon fiber, and CCB and upgraded exhaust.
Used and old GT-R has lits of issues and their value dropped like shit. Hell, you can get a used lambo at that price

Shew, that's 35K more than I paid for my M4.... Not sure how much you really gain for 35K! Oh well, if I had more $$ I would probably consider it too but the regular M4 was already near my limit. Which BTW has been a very good purchase ;)
Glad you're enjoying the M4! These are great cars overall for sure! The CS has a very mechanical feeling over the standard car and there is definitely a big difference. But you can do a lot to your car for $35k lol

@@BrosFOURRSpeed In most ways better for the boy racer, but in terms of luxury- maybe not which is fine with me. On the track yes the CS is better than the Comp for sure. Keep up the great content and details that you have in your reviews, your video highlighted a couple features I did not even know about=)
Can the M4 comp be driven daily. And still be comfortable over bumps and such.

This is an outgoing model to be replaced soon with the 2021/2022. People complaining about the price and buying one used etc, that could be said about any car. I personally do not want a used M car, as I know they are pushed to the max all the time. I have owned 3 M4s; 2015 2016 and now this 2020. It is fun to drive. It is loud and aggressive and while it wasn't cheap, it'll do until the new X5M comes out or I trade up to a 992.

And although that bmw is pretty sporty, I'm suprised they haven't updated the interior for the 2020 model.
I assume some will wait for the 2021 model. But the fugly pig nose grill is a problem.
Oh and the Corona, who knows if we will any new cars coming in anytime soon

Beautiful car, I always loved the curves and silhouette on the f32/82 cars. This is definetly not a daily though lol my f32 n55 is the best of both worlds in my opinion, I know my back wouldn't last long in those seats(although they look cool and sporty) I also store my wallet. Masks, glasses etc in the door panel. I know my wife wouldn't be a fan of the door handle on the inside, plus this thing probably wouldn't do well in the snow but I get it.
This isn't meant to be a daily the first place, next car will be a used f92 (since they discontinued the 2door coupe for MY 2021). With all that being said this would have been my dream car this go around since I def won't be getting the G22 or G82(whatever chassis code is the new m4)
Yeah this M4 CS was a blast to drive! Pretty raw for a daily. But very special car! BMW is making some killer M cars!
@@BrosFOURRSpeed hmm, I "may" have to disagree. I have a regular M4 that I have used as a daily for 5 years and I find it to be one of the most comfortable cars I have owned. Even drop my daughter off in school in it (yes she rides in back). It's been lowered so it's a bit stiffer than stock but when your driving that doesn't bother most (I notice it more when I ride as passenger). The biggest problem I have is making sure my front lip doesn't impact curbs, dips, debris, etc. Is the CS that much harsher? BTW, i get the door handle thing. I think they could have left that like the regular M4...

How do the seats in the M4 compare to the 370 Nismo Recaros? The Recaro in the 370 Nismo is my favorite seat. I liked it so much, I put a Recaro Sportster GT seat in my Audi TTS.
They are both super comfortable seats! The Nismo Recaro are also one of my favorite seats ever! These have a bit more padding and are just as comfortable.

Not all cars are about power. It packs a punch tho and can always be tuned. The balance and raw feeling is what you're paying for! Fun car ;)

You forgot to mention the reason it has the “lesser” heating system interface and no auto temperature controls....
I’ll mention it, ridiculous weight reduction.
I think that’s a 2019 because the UI looks old and in the 2020 the m1/2 buttons are red behind the steering wheel (like the paddles)

Personally I'd chose the M4 just because its more of a drivers cars. I can tell it has the enthusiast in mind. C63 is more geared towards luxury. C63 is better looking on the inside, but M4 is more sporty. But I really like the C63, just not quite my kind of car.

Boy do I love the CS, but for over 100k !!! Seriously wtf bmw. One could easily find a Gtr, or a nice deal on a used R8 at that price point. SMFH !
Don't care for this color but great review man, this is really what the original M4 should've been all along, and with a manual option, but they would rather charge a premium to give you less lol. At least throw in the water cooling from the GTS since we're at 100k.

I'm so confused lol. I don't know whether I should switch from my 428 to an m4, a m235 or a m3 e92 😅. No kids yet so that's why I would want a coupe. I'm not gonna have kids for at least 6 years.

Yeah the old M4 CS was such a good car!
No doubt the hood is light, but the reason you can lift it with one finger is because it's hydraulically assisted lol
but still, normally you can still feel the weight of the hood resining those. It's hard to convey weightlessness on camera. But I've never felt a hood like this. And I've messed with the normal M4 enough to notice the huge difference

the real hp rating from the crank is around 510

@@SaiKrishna-yq1ho The interior is going to look dated considering it's based off a F82 M4 first offered in 2015. The interior was actually first available in the 2012 335i, so it's a 8 year old interior now.
Keenan Evans I appreciate this m4 for what it is. To me it’s not enough car to justify the price tag but that’s just me. I’m sure some will disagree.
