Greetings from Brantford Ontario.........ordered the Roscoe 7 in July 2020 and waited and waited............until a month ago, when I got the call!!! I've never had a "new" bike, so, for me, this thing is amazing!! I'm 65, so I'm out enjoying the trails, figuring out what this bike has to offer. I must say, I had never heard of a dropper post, but, now I know it's a God send!!!!
WAS GOING FAST DOWN TRAIL DESCENDING ON OUR TREK'S , WENT OVER ROCKS FLEW IN THE AIR AND CAME DOWN LANDED ON THE BAR CRUSHED MY BALLS AND CRASHED INTO THICKET OF THORN BUSHES. MY RIDING BUDDY WAS GOING OVER SAME ROCKS, SEAT CAME OFF AND LANDED ON THE SEAT POST UP HIS BUTT. RUINED HIS PANTS AND OUR DAY. BOTH BIKES WERE TOTALED.
Great vid! I just bought one but I'm out of town so I'll have to pick it up once I get back. It's in the Miami green colorway. I haven't ridden mountain bikes in years but started road riding a couple years and decided I want to go back to my roots!
I actually bought the Roscoe 7 a couple of weeks ago. Thought for sure it was exactly what I wanted. Nope, I took it back and brought the Roscoe 9 home with me. The 36mm stanchions on the Fox Rhythm front suspension dont flex at all and the Shimano 6000 series 4 piston brakes give indredible stopping power that doesnt fade. Also has smoother shifting Shimano XT. Plus it has the rear hub with the 108 points of engagement. More money, but waaaaay more bike that will not need any upgrades.
I bought a Roscoe 6 2022 last September. Have been loving the bike honestly. But I feel like the 7 is a wayyyy better buy. I haven’t been able to remove it from my mind. I want to upgrade my rear wheel on my 6 but am holding off till next spring to see if I’m going to decide to get the 7. I upgraded my forks but bought a used fork because again, I don’t want to spend too much in upgrades in case I swap. Now I’m thinking the brakes that come on the 7 are exactly the same as the brakes that come on the 6, which I think is too bad. The MT 200’s are ok but I’m noticing my riding is starting to outgrow my brakes already... so if you factor in the cost of the seven at 2099 here in Niagara Canada and a new set of brakes at maybe 700.00 it’s still a better buy than the 6. I’ve dissected the Roscoe line up and obviously the Best Buy is the 9 but just can’t spend that much. So the 7 with upgraded brakes is best value. The 8 has SRAM components which I’m not a fan of. Anyway LOL, thanks for the video!
I'm between this one and the specialized Fuse 27.5. I use the bike to hit the trails but also to commute, so I'm not completely sure what is the best. Personally, I like the Fuse (esthetically), but doesn't have air suspension and only is 9 speeds with 27.5 wheels
@@goodluckchrisclark What about the Fuel EX 7 Gen 6 it's on sale right now for around the same price as the Roscoe 9. Do you recommend it or just stick with the Roscoe 9 for structural strength ? I have noticed that the Fuel EX have a frame made from Alpha platinum compare to the Roscoe 9 which is made of Alpha gold. What's your thought on this ?

The Roscoe 9 is honestly a sweet part spec, nothing more needed!
Providing you like the colour... personally I don't like the black splatter it looks 80's retro... for that reason I'll go the blue 8.
I got the Roscoe 7 miami green 2023. its the best bicycle i ever had :) love it.
Getting this bike tomorrow as an upgrade from my Marlin 6. So pumped!
@marc same thing here hopefully get it Friday, coming from a 2016 marlin 6
Good review. So far I like mine. 😊
The Roscoe 7 or a Orbea Laufey H10??

Hey Chris I'm between the Roscoe 7 or a Giant Fathom 2. Same money pros and cons. What do you think? Thanks for the video bro!
Would you suggest the Roscoe 7 or 8? They are on sale right now and the 7 is selling for 1.4k and the 8 for 1.6k.
The 7 has everything you need to ride, the 8 would be better overall and worth $200 more
I'm just getting into mountain biking and getting a roscoe as a beginner.
I watch ur. Ideo i take ur advise i biught roscoe 7 thanks a lot yesterday came in

Yeah I thought about doing a comparison but the Roscoe is better value by far for money.
Just ordered one tonight 🤟🤟🤟🤟
Nice! Enjoy it!
Hey Chris do you think this model is good from someone who weight 340 lbs ? We are actually looking to buy this model for a family member.
Trek rates it to 300lbs but I personally see no issues for gentle trails. We've sold these to people that weight and more and have never had a problem
@@goodluckchrisclark ok thanks
