Hey John - Glad you find the videos helpful! Thanks for your comment and good luck with your truck and trailer. Just holler back if you have any questions. Scott
Scott, I was agreeing with you until you reused the cotter pin. To quote Rainman Ray, "Reusing cotter pins damages my soul." Otherwise it was a good vid. Sound is excellent and good camera angles!
Hi Hi Bulletproof ! Can you help me out with a clutch drum for my XG Jonsereds ? I live in Norway and Sweden. I need the needle bearing and space as well. I tried log on chainsaw collectors...but have som,e trouble at the moment...to log in. I check that with Magnus tomorrow ! Ok. Thx in advance ! :-)
Hi Motor Diverse - I sold my last XG with all the parts that I had. If the XG takes the same clutch drum as the XF, I may have a spare. Are you on Facebook? If so, there's a group that has some local members - facebook.com/groups/460572254485871 - also try tradera.com - there are several sellers of vintage Jonsereds parts. Please tell Magnus that I said hi. He is a good friend of mine. Scott
Never fun, always necessary! No brakes on trailer? Around these part no brakes max weight inc trailer only 3000 lbs. Gestapo will fine so much per lb over
Hi Penny - this guy (me!) does actually finish stuff. I'm working on the 7.3 cylinder heads as we speak, but I have a bit more video to shoot before I can post it. Thanks for the "encouragement"! Scott
It's so nice to see a fella do everything I'm about to do next summer to my 7.3 and my trailer! I love your videos. Keep making more!

Great info buddy! Merry Christmas! 👍👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thanks, Simple Man! Merry Christmas to you and yours!!! Scott
As per Timken, the center of the hub should be packed to 30 to 50 percent of the hub space. Bearings must have .001"- .005" end play.
Thanks for the input.

Michael - Excellent point! I have spares at the house; I should have replaced these. Thanks for your comment, Scott

Hey Randy - It has brakes on one axle. Thanks for your comment, Scott
I need help, when i took the castle nut off i saw no washer. EXPRESS enclosed utilities trailer. Do i need a washer?
In my experience, there's always been a washer between the castle nut and the bearing, but I haven't seen every single application. Scott
Does this guy ever finish anything? I'm still waiting for him to finish fixing the 7.3 engine. He jumps around too much and gets nothing done.
