I think you're doing this at the perfect time. I've really noticed a huge slowdown in NES and SNES sales on eBay. like BIG time. I have a feeling that the nostalgia wave has crested for those systems. So you're definitely ahead of that curve by doing this now.
It is really weird to think about. How much longer will rare games continue to be valuable simply because they are rare? Not that we both couldn't be completely wrong haha - I thought these games were expensive in 2019 and here we are now! Who knows what 2026 might look like😅 But yes, overall, I feel calm and confident with the decision no matter what happens from here (receiving some trade really helps with that, too.)
@@GetTheGreg Indeed. and I don't sell a ton of super high end complete in box games. Mostly loose titles. So I think those loose titles are going to people who are actually playing the carts. Well, now is certainly a great time to be selling retro games! Regarding breaking up a set, I reached that point with my USA Mega Man collection last year. Like you, the old passion wasn't there. Plus, my favor has shifted largely to my Rockman collection, so slowly breaking up my USA stuff makes me think more about fond collecting memories than missing those games.
The Nintendo 64 was always the only game console for me to find every game that I wanted in stores or conversations. F-Zero X is very hard to find in retro stores and I even found 2 sealed copies of Kid Icarus Uprising collector editions with the stands and cards. Cool video. ^_^
Congrats on figuring out where you want your life to go. As for collecting, I suppose I'm just a little crazy or odd. I've been collecting since 1997, and to this date, I own 39 complete console libraries. However, most of my libraries were completed before the awful prices of 2017 and up came along. I had almost 600 games for the SNES, and the last 176 or so cost me close to $10 grand. Keep in mind that 10 grand is and was HUGE. In all total, I've spent around $125 grand for over 12,000 games, 328 consoles and 39 complete console libraries, not including a ton of video game type related items. So spending 10 grand to finish a console was astronomical, since I had never spent 10 grand on ANY library. The next ones I completed were the the Philips CD-i (195 titles, many of which are very rare), Connor Video Smarts, the XBOX, Sega Dreamcast, etc. and lastly, I bought all of the Evercade games that have been released so far. Either way, I suppose I'm a little obsessive regarding the history of console gaming and I always will be. If you aren't though, or it just doesn't interests you, it is best to move on.
Cool well don't sell them or quit if u do atleast let me have a few. You have a Huge legendary Library then. I'm also a collector and started collecting in the mids 90s i miss 90s and early 2000s everu console and games were cheap and normal back then. I remember owning so many N64 consoles and others. Now i only haven1 of each and many games 2 Snes in box and 3 dozens Snes and wii and Switch and ps2 and Ps3 and wii u and N64 Sega games. Many controllers. I regret Selling My Sega Saturn and Saturn bomberman.
Hi Greg, wanted to say I'm 46...and I regret selling collections of stuff I was when I was in my 30s..because life changes don't sell, you will regret...just put the collection aside and don't think about it...you will be happy you did later on.
You're 28 !? I know this is a late comment ; though, thats incredible for you to collect what you collected on the Nintendo 64 platform. I don't know what you did to your N64 collection ; though for me, I would put it aside. I get it. People change as the years go by. I'm changing and seeing what more value of my time . Awesome vid

I've been casually collecting for 3 years actually I've been collecting all my life cuz I held on to all my childhood N64 games 33 CIB 163 games total most expensive loose title Gomon's Great Adventure most expensive CIB Conker's Bad Fur Day... I love the Nintendo 64 I will continue to casually collect for it but I don't see myself ever finishing the complete set but who knows I do buy sell and flip a lot locally sad to see you throw in the towel especially when you were so close to finishing it you got my sub I can't wait to see you what you traded those games for cheers !
the space is a huge problem. im struggling myself. I live in Tromsø, and my childhood room dosent have any more space left to fill up with gaming boxes, consoles etc in Oslo. its actually a better way for u if u get ridd of ur n64 collection and have a few sealed/graded games instead, and its easier to carrey a few games than 260 +. I have tried to sell a few stuff of my collection aswell
Hey i see you mention you are from Canada, I have a complete loose collection, and very interested in collecting the games I had as a kid boxed, so I would love any input or insight on how you would proceed and tbh if you happen to have any of them still for sale (long shot)
Hey! If you're in Canada, it's tough haha. I'd recommend jointing some video game collecting Canada Facebook groups and posting what you're looking to buy. Generally speaking, buying from other Canadians will be cheaper than importing from eBay or the like!
Wise decision. I see and talk to so many who are going for complete sets and sell before, or shortly after they complete. It's just not worth it. It's a waste of time, space, money, and mind, unless you truly know that the end is where you stop, and you have an excess of all the aforementioned. I know someone with complete CIB NTSC _AND_ PAL NES. He completed it long ago and that's all he ever wanted. His speedrunning channel is MegatronECS. Personally, I have always had a list of favorite games I want sealed and work on that slowly but surely, and I'm a Diablo fanatic, so I'll basically buy Diablo branded tp if I come across it.
I look forward to really narrowing down over the next few years and focusing on the items that really mean the most to me. Much more quality > quantity
I only bought one sealed game around 6 years ago, Paper Mario 64. Sadly it was a reseal. Now I'm buying sealed games and flipping graded/sealed games to finally own a clean copy of Paper Mario 64 graded. Surprisingly, through my journey, I've come across a lot of sealed games I'm keeping in my collection. I only wanted that sealed game but now I want a bunch. Hence why I still don't own Paper Mario. Collecting is tough but rewarding haha.
That rpg analogy is spot on. I'm right there with The Minish Cap. Hyrule Castle is the last dungeon I need to complete. I spent hours grinding up hearts, collecting bottles, and expanding my weapons to the fullest. I even starting trying to get all the kin stones. I'm right there and ready to fight Vaati...but I just, don't want to anymore? I can beat the game anytime I want to. I just choose not too. It's weird to explain.
Only missing Super Bowling and Sculptors cut in my full N64 Cartridge collection for the big hitters over 100 bucks each. Was fun to see all of these CIB big hitters laid out. Best of luck on your next steps!
@@GetTheGreg definitely planning to and adding to it a little at a time. I think I only own like 2-3 of the cheaper sports titles currently so I could knock out some chunks with some lot finds etc. I would love to do a CIB collection but I settled for just the carts in great shape with custom clamshells. Looks great and still protects my lovelies.
I’m currently collecting the Wii U set started 2022 your in Canada as well ? I for sure know priorities and things change in life I’m 29 you was so close though haha good video you got a new sub from me bro ✊🏽 can’t wait to see your sealed stuff
Man, I hear you about it being a passion project. Especially since I have negative passion for the N64. If I cared about the N64 at all, I'd head over to your place right now to pick up some games. But I just don't. I hate that controller so much. Careful now though, losing passion to a hobby can snowball to not caring about the hobby at all.
This is exactly how I feel, and I even have a house and have made space for everything to properly display complete playstation sets. I've been at it for 25+ years, and the last few years have been more of a chore and a grind than the other 20 combined, even though I have more income now, it does not make up for the lack of finds in the wild and the crazy prices. Filling in the holes on the wall with filler does not help the emptiness inside. Someone said to save some jewels for the endgame to keep things interesting (huntwise), but if you do that, you are stuck paying asinine prices. It's hard to win, playing the long game with trades and sitting on things until the time is right seems to be the way to go, hence the grind.
Man, part of me almost dreads the day I can say "I've been doing this for 20+ years" hahah. It really is one of those things where you ask "where does it end?". I hope to still be enjoying it for that long but part of me knows I'll probably sell off the vast majority of my stuff at some point once the love has faded😩
As like you I at a younger age collected Hotwheels. I knew my stuff and knew what was good and valuable. Like you but a bit different Hotwheels came out with new sets to collect every year. After about 10 years of collecting, I to became bored with trying to get every diecast. I needed a new hobby as I am now in my 30's and found myself bored as hell but didn't want to go to the bars and also have little free time in between work. Anyways what I'm saying is Thank you for all your videos and reminding me on how great our games were when we watched each console grow to what they are now.
At least you were being honest about and it and not saying the "I don't need Stadium Events to own a complete NES collection" that Patthenespunk was saying for years, and then shitting on the game and hobby in general just because he didn't own it. Only to all of a sudden abandon that narrative when he did eventually obtain it.
Last year, I Just tried to get almost all the N64 Games Back me and my Brother Had as a Kid. Bought a few dozen Games, some CIB, but most just the cartridges cause some of the prices are Just *INSANE* Wish I started collecting earlier Like you did man.... Damn
I'm at the final boss too with my sealed PS2-JRPG collection. I only need Xenosaga 3 and Suikoden V but I'm not too worried about those because they don''t have Holo PSN stickers lol
My current goal is a complete in box Mario collection. So any Mario game released on a Nintendo console. There’s close to 200 games all told and I’m nearly half way there and having a blast doing it. It’s like you said, do what you enjoy :)
I have a full CIB set, plus all of the console variants, of an obscure Nintendo console most people have never heard of, the Pokemon Mini! It was fun to collect for even though most all of it was eBay grabs. It seems to be very hard to put a price on it, there's not much on eBay now a days for price information, I probably wouldn't sell it off though.
@@GetTheGreg I'm not too sure what VGS is, but I've shared it in Facebook groups a few times, also my collection was used in MJRs video on the console, I had sent it to him for the video specifically.

This is what happened to me with my PS1 collection, I managed to get 873 cib (not including sports titles since I actually don't own any for the system) I have all the super expensive titles, many sealed, but after 20 years of collecting I just got so bored with it. These days I'll only buy physical games I know I will play. It's sad to see the passion fade away but even the greatest of loves don't last.
Wow man, that's a serious PS1 collection! Yea, I assume I'll be going in a completely different direction come 20 years. By that time I'll almost be 40 - who knows if I'll even want a collection of any size at that time!🤐
I was within 18% or so of having a complete Sega Saturn NTSC N American longbox collection. I was missing maybe 15 or so semi-rarish names along with a bunch of random sports and racing titles (game genres I have never been into so never had a desire to buy). Like you I thought of just gritting my teeth and doing what it took to acquire what I needed and say yay look at me! However my living arrangement is also cramped (got a lot of my collection in storage), and I just kinda lost the love of doing all that. I had a change of heart just like you, though my epiphany came many years later in life compared to you Dylan hahahahaha. So starting 2020 been breaking up the collection piece by piece and not really feeling bad about it! I also got maybe 70% of complete N American Sega Dreamcast collection but same thing once I am done selling off the Saturn I will sell off the Dreamcast too. Also (slowly) selling off my large PC big box collection.
Damn! Impressive collections man. Will you be holding onto a small collection of both Dreamcast and Saturn still once you're done selling off the rest? I plan on keeping say... 50ish games or so! All of my favourites/the Mario's/ stuff like that😎
@@GetTheGreg I might keep a small few, Saturn games are a real PITA to keep cases in nice condition. My first job out of college was working for a small game dev company so maybe I keep the few Saturn games in my collection that I worked on. I also just sent off two sealed Saturn games to Wata for grading, so maybe I hold onto them once they come back. For Dreamcast, not sure any of the games *truly* hold nostalgia value for me so likely will not hold onto any. I will be holding onto a small curation of PC big box though (Half Life, Blood, Doom, Quake, Diablo, Warcraft, Starcraft, etc)
@@GetTheGreg Pretty sure it was a straight-up trade for a CIB Yoshi's Story. I also bought a CIB copy of Smash 64 from you at the same time, I believe. I think you were the clear winner for that transaction haha.
@@kidgabula haha yea as soon as you said it I remembered the trade for Yoshi. I think the values at the time were like.. $50ish or so? I didn't realize EWJ had gone up so much until I looked the other day. I just tried looking it up on my spreadsheet but apparently I didn't record out trade 😢
Im pretty curious as to the 29 games you were missing! I currently have 1 complete in box n64 game. Its scooby doo classic creep capers. I think i have the black cart. Which kind of makes me realize that a 'complete' set is pretty arbitrary. Because do you need all the variants? I think your set is complete when YOU say its complete! Good luck with everything Greg!
As much as I can see your point and reasoning, the sweat and grind of putting that collection together is not going to be worth the money (I don’t think, that’s relative to yours financial standing etc.) I do understand the investment element, and even the “not much more to do” element. Idk, certainly an interesting discussion. I know many people who had insane collections but are selling because the money is just life changing.
My goal is to quickly cycle the money back into things I would much rather own at this point in life - that's why I also *needed* part of the deal to be in trade - because you're right. The money itself doesn't matter enough compared to the overall effort. But in transferring the value to other items, it makes it a more enjoyable experience moving forward!
Other than those few heavy ones I mentioned, a lot are random sports titles that aren't even expensive haha. Mia Hamm soccer, blades of steel, one of the QB club games - just random stuff rather than any heavy/popular stuff!
I definitely considered it! That's why I also needed to get some games in the deal as well. Feels better to trade rare games for other valuable games rather than just money!
We all reach that point where we no longer have passion for something. Usually from lack of interest, time, or money. It's tough to be in that "so close yet so far" situation because one part of you says yes continue and the other says no, just stop. I was hoping to have a full CIB NES set one day but with the prices they are at now, it's just not feasible for me. I'm not ready to give them up yet though so the ones I do have I cherish.
I’m guessing GameCube. It’s popular right now and highly speculative. Medium risk/high reward long term. You mentioned storage as a selling factor so case games makes sense. Less can go wrong with plastic.
Im dirty 30... well 31 now, glad I bought a house (i mean got a mortgage) when I was 21. I couldn’t imagine buying a house these days at these prices. That being said im at a point in life were im trying to buy back my childhood collection and damn, the video game prices are insane. When I see these out of control number The small part of responsible adult in me can’t help to look at these games and think damn, am I really going to shell out my hard earned money for a collectable piece of cardboard and plastic. I mean yeah I want them, but this can’t go on forever. Once the Economy hits hard times these games will be near worthless. I hope that day doesn’t come but that is what I feel may happen. Regardless I’m out here buying what I had as a kid or things that I really like not just Whats rare or valuable. Just do it makes you happy.
One could argue this is the deal with any collecting: no one cares about your collection but yourself. Seriously, I have friends who love to game and when they see my collection, they barely glance at it. Most of them just wonder when I’m getting get married. Yeah, my male friends are asking THAT question.
Haha yes! 100%. I feel like a lot of the Reddit/social media crowd doesn't understand that, at the end of the day, literally no one else cares and it doesn't matter haha. There are very few people in person who actually care about mine either, and even less who understand it haha. And ugh. I'm starting to get to that age too...
I understand what you're saying mate. I'm at a similar point in my PAL Dreamcast set. Six games shy. I could buy them tomorrow and be done with it. But I just find myself buying for other consoles now. It's weird. It's like Therese six left and I know I can get them, and that almost seems enough.
If they are not too expensive, go for the 6 games and then put the collection to the side. One day it will be worth even more and you can say you own every single game. That's what I would do, just finish the collection up and move on to my new hobby and one day in the future, I will look back and thank myself for saving the collection and owning every single one
Hey Greg the feelings you must be going through to let go of the collection must be a roller coaster 🎢 . I would probably not let go of my collection until I retire in my 60s lol. I own a copy of Poop 💩 slinger what do you think I should do with it ? Get it grade and hold or sell as is ?
With Poop Slinger, I would personally get it graded and sell into this current market. That game might continue to rise for sure just because it's rare, but games like Stadium Events are definitely losing flavour these days and that's one of the best "rare games" around! Not sure how long Poopy will remain keeping pace with other, more desirable games. (God, I hate typing out the name of that game even haha)
@@GetTheGreg I don’t think WATA is grading PS4 yet but does the Auction house you check out on your videos auction off VGA graded games or is it strictly WATA ? I probably have to go towards eBay .
@@richardkim1981 yes, you'd have to go VGA on that one unless you want to wait for CGC and see if they grade PS4 when they open (sometime later this year). WATA, who knows if they will get to PS4 this year or not! Oh, and no, Heritage won't auction VGA for whatever reason. They are strictly WATA for now.
Hey Greg, its really excited to see what do you get in exchange for your n64 Collection :) ...But same to me, I now only collect games, that have a Personal value for me :) mostly childhood Games with great memories 🎮😊
I'll actually be holding onto lots of the 1st part stuff and the Rareware games. Think games like Mario Party 1-3, Banjo, Dk64, etc! All of the good stuff😎
Beyond playing games... collecting is a hobby by itself, it's meant to be fun and entertaining. If something is not fun now, changing direction it totally the right choice. Go for other games or things that you enjoy more. At some point i was going for a complete GB set, cart only. But i no longer want it, i buy one from time to time if i'm interested in the game... but nothing more. I own around 250 carts between gb and gbc, including some heavy hitters... and that's enough for me.
Random story: Stunt Racer is the only game that, no matter how hard I try, I cannot seem to emulate. Not sure what the deal is but it just won’t work. Which is a shame because I’ve heard it’s one of the decent titles on the platform.
I bought it for 8 USD about six years ago and sold it recently for 400 USD+, played it for a while and though it was ok, but it's no f zero x, nor is it a wave race 64. Good game, yeah, but the rarity drives the price on that one more than anything else, I'd say.
@@danieljimenez1989 Which is exactly why I would like to emulate it. But the Gods don’t want me to so I won’t. Not exactly losing sleep over it but it’s just odd. Meanwhile, I’m rocking PS1 games on my frickin’ 3DS with no issues whatsoever. Stupid N64.

This is sensible collecting. These days too many amateur speculators trying to make money and shaming people for their collections in the market etc. Reddit is full of these people and it's gross. I collect games I like and want and games I want for my kids to enjoy when they get a little older to enjoy them.
@@CobraVice it's true haha. I'm actually going over to the parents tonight to play some N64 on our original childhood console with my brothers (Mario party maybe?) Because I now have the nostalgia bug haha

What are you saying? I know what WATA is but idk what you are referring too, I don't collect games so I am not aware if a situation with WATA is going on now
So with you moving into sealed games, I have to ask: Do you play games anymore? Like, yeah, the N64 system sucks but at least you could open them up and play them. But with going exclusively sealed, there seems to be no chance of you playing retro games every again (or do you emulate stuff… I honestly have no idea what your relationship is with games is at this point).
Haha fair question! At mom's house, we have the "childhood collection" of stuff. SNES, N64, PS1, GameCube, and a plethora of games. For the most part, those are what still get played on the most. My younger brothers also modded the Wii so we are set with that, too! I'd say we have a "game night" every 2 weeks or so where the brothers and I play some retro games. Otherwise, I play modern stuff mostly, especially if I'm gaming alone. Right now, halo infinite multiplayer has been my flavour of choice, and I'll be looking to play Elden Ring when it comes out! At this point in my life, I probably wouldn't self-describe myself as a "gamer", most just an enthusiast haha
Yeah video game collecting isn't cheap. Good luck with your sales. I would hold.unto a few of those tho. The clay fighters, UFO bowling etc. Keep the top tier stuff, sell the rest

Get the Greg games
Hi Greg, wanted to say I'm 46...and I regret selling collections of stuff I was when I was in my 30s..because life changes don't sell, you will regret...just put the collection aside and don't think about it...you will be happy you did later on.
You're 28 !? I know this is a late comment ; though, thats incredible for you to collect what you collected on the Nintendo 64 platform. I don't know what you did to your N64 collection ; though for me, I would put it aside. I get it. People change as the years go by. I'm changing and seeing what more value of my time . Awesome vid
That collection is WAY more than enough if you ask me...
I really like the videos when you talk about your personal collection
Thanks man!
if only i have the money to buy your whole collection i would and ill try to complete the n64 games. Still one of the best collection i have seen
+ i have moved to vinyl/music stuff instead. thats what im intrested in now as a 23 y/o. i have almost completed my goal, to get all the albums i love on vinyl. for instance, The dark side of the moon, X&Y, Whats the story morning glory, abbey road, american idiot, wish u were here,, the division bell, back to black etc etc. the gaming passion has dissapeard sadly, but i wouldnt mind getting a few sealed games. im thinking about grading mario all stars for the switch and a few ps3 games.
Some great taste in music there!👌
I've been casually collecting for 3 years actually I've been collecting all my life cuz I held on to all my childhood N64 games 33 CIB 163 games total most expensive loose title Gomon's Great Adventure most expensive CIB Conker's Bad Fur Day...
Congrats on your accomplishment! I'm thinking of starting a complete collection of actual good N64 games. So maybe 6 or 7 games?
Oh come on, you can stretch that collection to at least 15, 20 if you are feeling frisky
There are at least 30 good n64 games.
Goodluck Gorgeus
Hahah glad I'm not the only one! It's super weird but I do it more often than not when playing RPGs!
Only missing Super Bowling and Sculptors cut in my full N64 Cartridge collection for the big hitters over 100 bucks each. Was fun to see all of these CIB big hitters laid out. Best of luck on your next steps!
Oh wow, not too shabby at all on your own collection! Do you plan to finish it off eventually!?

Best if luck with your fullset, it's a huge grind haha!
@@GetTheGreg nice I’m in Alberta not too far i was playing basketball in a tournament over there not too long ago
I got a complete set of Mario games, all imports included. That was enough for me.
Hey! I used to do hot wheels too but I was a complete casual with them haha. They were one of my favourite things to buy growing up, though!
"WoRlD cLasS TrAcK MeEt Is ThE SaMe GaMe"
Man, people on Nintendoage used to always get so heated about that topic hahah.
Last year, I Just tried to get almost all the N64 Games Back me and my Brother Had as a Kid. Bought a few dozen Games, some CIB, but most just the cartridges cause some of the prices are Just *INSANE*
Wish I started collecting earlier Like you did man.... Damn
I'm at the final boss too with my sealed PS2-JRPG collection. I only need Xenosaga 3 and Suikoden V but I'm not too worried about those because they don''t have Holo PSN stickers lol
AGREE!!!!! LIFE DOES CHANGE.
I BEEN COLLECTING FOR 38 YEARS.
AND STILL INTERESTED.....
GOOD LUCK!
My current goal is a complete in box Mario collection. So any Mario game released on a Nintendo console. There’s close to 200 games all told and I’m nearly half way there and having a blast doing it. It’s like you said, do what you enjoy :)
That's actually a really cool collection idea! I hope you're able to finish it!
I feel like I only know what that is because you've shared it on VGS haha. (Or maybe it was someone else!?)

By that time I'll almost be 40 - who knows if I'll even want a collection of any size at that time!🤐
@@GetTheGreg oh wow, you are only like 18 years old or something dude? I thought you were around my age (29)
@@ThePeacePlant well I've been at it for over 10 years already, so after 20 years of collecting I'll be 38 or so! It was just worded confusingly😅
Very interesting video!
It would also be very interesting to see which games you kept
That's a good idea! Once I have it all narrowed down I'll do an N64 collection video!

That copy of EWJ 64 looks kind of familiar. It's also upside-down, ya goof lol.
Hahaha I noticed it was upside down too😅
And yes! I forgot that one came from you!
I just bought a huge lot of boxed N64 games super cheap from this older Canadian lady who said her son just quit collecting them yesterday!
😂
Oh man …. The table of games is just so beautiful Greg …..
WidePeepoHappy
Im pretty curious as to the 29 games you were missing! I currently have 1 complete in box n64 game. Its scooby doo classic creep capers. I think i have the black cart. Which kind of makes me realize that a 'complete' set is pretty arbitrary. Because do you need all the variants? I think your set is complete when YOU say its complete! Good luck with everything Greg!
As much as I can see your point and reasoning, the sweat and grind of putting that collection together is not going to be worth the money (I don’t think, that’s relative to yours financial standing etc.)
I do understand the investment element, and even the “not much more to do” element.
Which games are you missing in particular?
Other than those few heavy ones I mentioned, a lot are random sports titles that aren't even expensive haha. Mia Hamm soccer, blades of steel, one of the QB club games - just random stuff rather than any heavy/popular stuff!
You should hold on to the rare games. Rare things just generally go up in price over time. Keep them for investments.
I definitely considered it! That's why I also needed to get some games in the deal as well. Feels better to trade rare games for other valuable games rather than just money!
I totally would too
We all reach that point where we no longer have passion for something.
How far into the NES set are you now? Do you have any thoughts about selling it all or most of it at this point?
@@GetTheGreg Nope. By the time I do sell them they probably won't be worth as much.
@@GoodVibeCollecting while I have you here: did those NES inserts arrive yet haha? Just remembered them!
@@GetTheGreg What inserts?

Whats the name of that rockstar n64 game I got
Monster truck 64 haha?
You sound privileged; who can buy a house at 21 without help form mom and dad?
One could argue this is the deal with any collecting: no one cares about your collection but yourself. Seriously, I have friends who love to game and when they see my collection, they barely glance at it. Most of them just wonder when I’m getting get married. Yeah, my male friends are asking THAT question.
Haha yes! 100%. I feel like a lot of the Reddit/social media crowd doesn't understand that, at the end of the day, literally no one else cares and it doesn't matter haha. There are very few people in person who actually care about mine either, and even less who understand it haha.
And ugh. I'm starting to get to that age too...
Great video Greg! 🙏🏼🔥
Haha yes! It's a super weird spot to be in and real exemplifies the phrase "the hunt is greater than the kill" (I think that's the saying haha)
If they are not too expensive, go for the 6 games and then put the collection to the side. One day it will be worth even more and you can say you own every single game. That's what I would do, just finish the collection up and move on to my new hobby and one day in the future, I will look back and thank myself for saving the collection and owning every single one
I took the advice and completed the collection. Thanks!!

I bought it for 8 USD about six years ago and sold it recently for 400 USD+, played it for a while and though it was ok, but it's no f zero x, nor is it a wave race 64.

This is sensible collecting. These days too many amateur speculators trying to make money and shaming people for their collections in the market etc. Reddit is full of these people and it's gross. I collect games I like and want and games I want for my kids to enjoy when they get a little older to enjoy them.
What's happening on Reddit, can you explain? Shaming people for their collection, what exactly do you mean by that?
So, i assume you have loose playble copies to just play if you want though? i get it

Totally agree with everything you said we are all different in our motives and times change people change
