Do remember that the politicians' pension get added too. They get X times pension, if they have been elected X times the Member of Parliament. An MP for a week will also ensure your pension.

the future of warfare is not men vs men fighting wars with fists and guns we need to develop our weapons more the new age of warfare requires more spending on latest technology and weapons if we go to this side then our army members will be more safe remember galwan valley where we lost 20 soldiers? we could have spend some money on cutting edge weapons to prevent loss of soldier lives for this the only option left for government is to reduce pension which consumes 25 to 30% of our defence budget we can't reduce the salary factor which is nearly 30% itself so we can only reduce what's in our hands plus defence budget can't be dynamically increased we are a developing we can't spend 600 billion dollars like America does. So this move was bound to happen in the longer it will help our country as we would be able to purchase more cutting edge and automatic weapons which can save our soldier lives as future of warfare is mostly dependent of latest technology as evidenced by bayraktar drones in ukraine. my father served the nation as an army officer for 26 years and we know its not easy to get a perfectly paid and secured job after this long period of serving
*STEP SON* During my time, Short Service Commission Officers served for 5 years. After that, they could opt for 5 years extension. Some were absorbed permanently. Now the rule for SS Officers is 10 years plus 4 years extension. No pension or benefits. SS officers are left on the road. They have no where to go. Imagine an officer who is 36-38 years old, with a wife and 2 kids…just standing on the road…lost. The struggle SS officers face is unimaginable. Today, I am financially comfortable. 23 years back, I decided not to identify myself as Major Gaurav Arya. For sake of anonymity, I dropped my rank. I took my LML Vespa scooter and went from shop to shop in Noida, asking shopkeepers to take a look at velvet samples and buy it from me. I understood that this work was not what was expected of me, and so I hid myself from the world. I did odd jobs. Today, the Major Gaurav Arya you see on TV and social media is the result of a long and terrible struggle. The confidence is a result of a hundred failures and a thousand humiliations. I came out stronger. I survived. I remember taking a morning bus to Bhikaji Cama place and Nehru Place. Handing over my CV to numerous consultants, hoping for a job, I would return in the evening. Imagine if the officers(ss) who are paid more money after retirement(than the soldiers)+ plus life time canteen facilities+ plus life time medical facilities for himself and his family has to go through this. What will happen to these newly recruit soldiers,who will not have either medical facility or canteen facility or the same as money as officer after retirement,how will they manage their life,how will they support their family financially after their term of sevice is over. If consider only money...... an officer under short service commission can easily earn apprx officer 1.8 crore rs for 12 yrs of service.... & this amount of money is good enough to have atleast basic initial need as (a) have own home🏠 & (b) live good lifestyle in day to day life in normal city of India 🇮🇳 & the most important point is that there is no only provision of short service commission for recruitment of officers👮 , it's the choice of an individual while applying as an officer👮

Mr Rathee you say that politicians get pension. This is an understatement. The normal term of a politician in State or Centre is 5 years. But even if he goes there for a single day, he is entitled to full pension. Further, politicians get multiple pensions - every time they are elected, a new pension is added to the earlier pensions For example, a veteran politician was getting 5 pensions, more than Rs 5 lakh per month. Now the new APP Govt in Punjab has reduced it to one pension only. But it is there in all other States as well as the Centre.

Joining the armed forces is one of the most difficult decisions a person can make. He is sacrificing his life for a greater cause, not knowing whether he will come back or not. He is willing to be away from family for such long periods of time, because he is serving the nation. But having said that, he still goes ahead with it because it secures his family forever, in life or death. Without this security, what will make anyone agree to risk their lives?
Brother if you listen to press conference today, the army person said that insurance of Agniveera will be above 1 crore which means if anything happens to them then govt will. Spend more than 1 cr but if by gods grace they are safe then they go withh 11 lakh after 4 years

Motivation of country, and a surety that their families are well taken care of. If you take the second one away, the first one will not be able to power a person to take the decision to make the ultimate sacrifice.
You are perfectly on point about the pension scheme for MPs and MLAs. That should be revised - Pension should be given only to those MPs and MLAs who complete 4 consecutive 5 year terms as MLA or MP.
And also one time pension Currently if you are an MP and before that you were MLA then you will get pension of MLA and in multiple times of how many times you were MLA
Disadvantages of agneeveer- 1,No medical facilities to you and your family, 2,No pension, 3,no relation certificate to your child and brother, 4,Just 30 days holiday in 1 year, 5, No job guarantee after 4 year 10% reservation given but not job guaranteei Capf 6, Only 25% will be recruited as permanent, 7 ,Just 6 months training, 8 ,Fixed salary will be given in hand 70% only and 30 % will be aded and given you as nidhi yojna 9, Discrimination was done in the army by making sure someone and leaving someone out 10, 10% reservation will be available only when the vacancy comes, whether in 2 years comes or 4 year even 3 year.

Sir I am a airforce aspirant I almost cleared all test and waiting joining form 1.5 years Gov gave lolipop to us on last date of every month that there are some administrative reasons But on 14 June gov cancelled all pending requirements in airforce and army So the main reason of this protest is cancelling this recruitment but the गोदी मिडिया don't want to raise this issue instead of that गोदी मिडिया एंड बीजेपी आईटी सेल portrait these students as a terrorist.

@@SQUID12 All the army personnels will not be recruited through this scheme, this is just a voluntary scheme. You can yourself check, only 45000 soldiers will be recruited through agnipath. Rest will be recruited normally and will get the same training and pensions they used to get earlier.
The bonding among soldiers is of utmost importance in peace as well as war. The Agniveers will be unable to attach themselves to the regular ones. This will create a gap in the forces. Moreover, some Agniveers will pretend to be a patriot for the 4 years. After becoming permanent, most of them will come in passive mode and become a burden to the defence. . I am a retired one and knew the mental and physical stress in the environment.

My father was in the army for 17 years, when he took retirement in 2006(37 years old), he struggled a lot to find a job, he didn't have any degree to join a formal job. Finally, He took the job as an armed gunman at a Govt bank. After years of working at the bank as the armed gunman, he completed a degree along the way, then applied for bank employee, which my father got on the second try(only general category person who got selected), in his first try all positions went to reversed guys, On Today's date he is working as a chief cashier at the same bank. This is the story of every army person who gets retried after years of service, some find a job, and some won't find one. Now, this new scheme will cause more of this problem. I am sure most of these won't able to find jobs after four years.
There are two concerns here: (1) Future of recruits (2) Structure of army. There is no clarity about both. Retired personnel are speaking against this as they think this will devalue the army. Aspirants feel their is no guarantee for their future. Armed forces can not be treated as an employment. It is more than that, or at least in perception the kind of respect these jobs attract is higher than other jobs. Instead, the government could have implemented such scheme in some other sector along with opportunity to learn or get educated. Something like 'earn while you learn'.

The more focus is being given to agniveer's rehabilitation after 4 years of army service, which is good to some extent but on the other hand the focus on the credibility of Indian army with these agniveer's, in case of ops of war, with their little training/experience, will defeat the very purpose of this decision in a long terms of service requirement & may lead to defeat in any war and loss to our country. After 10 & more service in the army by these agniveer's, how country will cope up with the present requirement of modern army with digitisation, technology & modernisation with these agniveer's who are not trained with the latest technologies which is most essential to win any ops of war. The scheme needs re-thought/reconsideration.

Similar scheme was launched by LIC of India in 2010 known as SME scheme .I am Agniveer from LIC after 6 yrs service .Govt played well and we lost our age of getting entry into any other govt job

The the concept of Agnipath is made for war like emergency as in my opinion in the near future we are going to have a war and hence they are recruiting Agniveers for 4 years as the government suspects that within these 4 years we may have war with China as the border tension is slowly increasing.... China is recruiting more and more army personnel and are deploying them in ladakh region..... This is same as *_Indian Conscription_* where Agniveers will be classified as Réservéd Personnels... They along with other Reserved Army personnel will be later deployed in ladakh and other Conflicted areas if the war like situation happens..... The solution could be 1. Stop pension to ministers and use that fund on our soldiers and let them continue in army OR 2. After 4 years the Govt. should take initiative to provide them jobs in Govt. sectors OR 3. In Pvt. companies there should be reserved seats for Agniveers where some % of salary should be paid by the Govt. OR 4. During Agniveer duty the Govt. should ensure to educate them for higher studies so that once they are out they should be to crack the interviews OR 5. They should be appointed in SRPF/RAF or other state police services in their state OR 6. Schooling should be free for their children till 12th and they must be provided with a ration of 6 people every month so that even if they didn't find a job on time they should be able to survive along with family OR Govt. must go and find Infinity stones and half the population of India with just a snap like Thanos to solve unemployment and other issues in India. No doubt we are facing this issue bcz the population is higher than available resources. Agnipath scheme is not that good what Govt. thinks. Since my father is also in army so I can tell that most of the jobs after retirement will of security guards. And people talking about clearing NDA, most of the recruited army soldiers are from very humble background for example my father, he came in army just because my grandparents were not able to feed both him and my uncle so he chose to take financial responsibility by joining this service,Completing school was also a challenge let alone cracking NDA where one have to compete with candidates getting quality guidance from start. In my 20 years of life almost 80% of the soldiers I have seen have very humble background for them NDA is just a dream. Kindly know facts before commenting here. And secondly if is not generating employment then Army should clearly mention this rather than giving shallow reasons. Soldiers are never asked before this type of decisions it's discussed only among the high ranking officers most of who have never seen hardships in life, they don't want to compromise with their pensions and serving years but cutting the pension and service years of the needy,literally these army officers are the worst thing that I have ever seen.
Bhai my father is a ex-servicemen.. He was in IAF in JWO post... And right now he is a senior clerk in SBI.. And like him, more than 90% of his friends are in good position in banks and other government sectors... As you know the ex-servicemen quota is 10% in almost every government job, so if someone works hard, then he/she will surely get a good job.

17-21 are important years for an individual to acquire skills that would help them earn for a lifetime. It is a crucial phase of career development. If Government is bringing in such a scheme, they need to also take care that by the end of the work duration, Agniveers would be having appropriate skills at least that would enable them to find jobs later.

the future of warfare is not men vs men fighting wars with fists and guns we need to develop our weapons more the new age of warfare requires more spending on latest technology and weapons if we go to this side then our army members will be more safe remember galwan valley where we lost 20 soldiers? we could have spend some money on cutting edge weapons to prevent loss of soldier lives for this the only option left for government is to reduce pension which consumes 25 to 30% of our defence budget we can't reduce the salary factor which is nearly 30% itself so we can only reduce what's in our hands plus defence budget can't be dynamically increased we are a developing we can't spend 600 billion dollars like America does. So this move was bound to happen in the longer it will help our country as we would be able to purchase more cutting edge and automatic weapons which can save our soldier lives as future of warfare is mostly dependent of latest technology as evidenced by bayraktar drones in ukraine.

During my time, Short Service Commission Officers served for 5 years. After that, they could opt for 5 years extension. Some were absorbed permanently. Now the rule for SS Officers is 10 years plus 4 years extension.
No pension or benefits.
SS officers are left on the road. They have no where to go. Imagine an officer who is 36-38 years old, with a wife and 2 kids…just standing on the road…lost. The struggle SS officers face is unimaginable.
Today, I am financially comfortable. 23 years back, I decided not to identify myself as Major Gaurav Arya. For sake of anonymity, I dropped my rank. I took my LML Vespa scooter and went from shop to shop in Noida, asking shopkeepers to take a look at velvet samples and buy it from me. I understood that this work was not what was expected of me, and so I hid myself from the world.
I did odd jobs.

Mr Rathee you say that politicians get pension. This is an understatement. The normal term of a politician in State or Centre is 5 years. But even if he goes there for a single day, he is entitled to full pension. Further, politicians get multiple pensions - every time they are elected, a new pension is added to the earlier pensions For example, a veteran politician was getting 5 pensions, more than Rs 5 lakh per month. Now the new APP Govt in Punjab has reduced it to one pension only. But it is there in all other States as well as the Centre.

You are perfectly on point about the pension scheme for MPs and MLAs. That should be revised - Pension should be given only to those MPs and MLAs who complete 4 consecutive 5 year terms as MLA or MP.
And also one time pension
Currently if you are an MP and before that you were MLA then you will get pension of MLA and in multiple times of how many times you were MLA

The bonding among soldiers is of utmost importance in peace as well as war. The Agniveers will be unable to attach themselves to the regular ones. This will create a gap in the forces. Moreover, some Agniveers will pretend to be a patriot for the 4 years. After becoming permanent, most of them will come in passive mode and become a burden to the defence.

My father was in the army for 17 years, when he took retirement in 2006(37 years old), he struggled a lot to find a job, he didn't have any degree to join a formal job. Finally, He took the job as an armed gunman at a Govt bank. After years of working at the bank as the armed gunman, he completed a degree along the way, then applied for bank employee, which my father got on the second try(only general category person who got selected), in his first try all positions went to reversed guys, On Today's date he is working as a chief cashier at the same bank.
This is the story of every army person who gets retried after years of service, some find a job, and some won't find one.
Now, this new scheme will cause more of this problem. I am sure most of these won't able to find jobs after four years.

There are two concerns here: (1) Future of recruits (2) Structure of army. There is no clarity about both. Retired personnel are speaking against this as they think this will devalue the army. Aspirants feel their is no guarantee for their future. Armed forces can not be treated as an employment. It is more than that, or at least in perception the kind of respect these jobs attract is higher than other jobs.
Instead, the government could have implemented such scheme in some other sector along with opportunity to learn or get educated. Something like 'earn while you learn'.

The more focus is being given to agniveer's rehabilitation after 4 years of army service, which is good to some extent but on the other hand the focus on the credibility of Indian army with these agniveer's, in case of ops of war, with their little training/experience, will defeat the very purpose of this decision in a long terms of service requirement & may lead to defeat in any war and loss to our country. After 10 & more service in the army by these agniveer's, how country will cope up with the present requirement of modern army with digitisation, technology & modernisation with these agniveer's who are not trained with the latest technologies which is most essential to win any ops of war. The scheme needs re-thought/reconsideration.

The primary concern is the reemployment of those 75% Agniveers after four years...I think the government should not interfere within the Defence System
If you think logically there are many available options for employment after retirement from service
Main reason is most soldiers are from lower middle class and ruler farmers family. So modi government don't want to give any pension to our soldiers. But all the civil servant and officers are from upper cast and they are from city, modi government like to pay them high pension to them
Are they so useless that after getting seva nidhi of 11lakh plus whater they have done saving from their salary cannot complete their graduation plus they can study for gov exam and their retirememt age is 25 and here in allahabad student of age 35 to 40 years havenot got any job they are doing studying for upsc or other exam

I'm against this Scheme
I have my reasons like millions of others out there but it's also a fact that violence can't be Justified in any manner.
The the concept of Agnipath is made for war like emergency as in my opinion in the near future we are going to have a war and hence they are recruiting Agniveers for 4 years as the government suspects that within these 4 years we may have war with China as the border tension is slowly increasing....
China is recruiting more and more army personnel and are deploying them in ladakh region.....
This is same as *_Indian Conscription_* where Agniveers will be classified as Réservéd Personnels...
They along with other Reserved Army personnel will be later deployed in ladakh and other Conflicted areas if the war like situation happens.....
The scheme AGNIPATH itself is a big word which may symbolises a big and a heavy duty to protect our motherland in case of war like emergency....There was no need to name the scheme with such a heavy word which symbolise the great penance of what I suspect is true
As this scheme was isued by Indian government on the plea of NSA and Indian Army General
Why should we love this country if the government cannot guarantee the basic livelihood of its citizens?
I justify this why let me tell you
They are not killing people
They are not destroying private property
They are just destroying government things so i am totally satisfied with this way of protest

The solution could be
1. Stop pension to ministers and use that fund on our soldiers and let them continue in army
OR
2. After 4 years the Govt. should take initiative to provide them jobs in Govt. sectors
OR
3. In Pvt. companies there should be reserved seats for Agniveers where some % of salary should be paid by the Govt.
OR
4. During Agniveer duty the Govt. should ensure to educate them for higher studies so that once they are out they should be to crack the interviews
OR
5. They should be appointed in SRPF/RAF or other state police services in their state
OR
6. Schooling should be free for their children till 12th and they must be provided with a ration of 6 people every month so that even if they didn't find a job on time they should be able to survive along with family
OR
Govt. must go and find Infinity stones and half the population of India with just a snap like Thanos to solve unemployment and other issues in India. No doubt we are facing this issue bcz the population is higher than available resources.
Agnipath scheme is not that good what Govt. thinks. Can you make a scheme that no MP/MLA can buy a ticket if he served this position once in his lifetime? Then why such a scheme for our soldiers?

Since my father is also in army so I can tell that most of the jobs after retirement will of security guards. And people talking about clearing NDA, most of the recruited army soldiers are from very humble background for example my father, he came in army just because my grandparents were not able to feed both him and my uncle so he chose to take financial responsibility by joining this service,Completing school was also a challenge let alone cracking NDA where one have to compete with candidates getting quality guidance from start. In my 20 years of life almost 80% of the soldiers I have seen have very humble background for them NDA is just a dream. Kindly know facts before commenting here. And secondly if is not generating employment then Army should clearly mention this rather than giving shallow reasons. Soldiers are never asked before this type of decisions it's discussed only among the high ranking officers most of who have never seen hardships in life, they don't want to compromise with their pensions and serving years but cutting the pension and service years of the needy,literally these army officers are the worst thing that I have ever seen.

Bhai my father is a ex-servicemen.. He was in IAF in JWO post... And right now he is a senior clerk in SBI.. And like him, more than 90% of his friends are in good position in banks and other government sectors... As you know the ex-servicemen quota is 10% in almost every government job, so if someone works hard, then he/she will surely get a good job.
This is absolutely correct that if we stop the pension of politicians , savings will be there , but this will result in more corruption because still having a good salary and pension to Indian politicians they used to do corruption , if we cut their pensions then what will happen???

17-21 are important years for an individual to acquire skills that would help them earn for a lifetime. It is a crucial phase of career development. If Government is bringing in such a scheme, they need to also take care that by the end of the work duration, Agniveers would be having appropriate skills at least that would enable them to find jobs later.
