STOP BREAKING WITH PEOPLE LIKE THIS! These people are con artists. We have to start standing up as a community and demanding better. These people have NO business in the hobby!
There may be something fishy about the pack he opened. I've opened a lot of these, and the leaders cards seem to be packed together. This one had a couple leaders cards together, then a random one at the end. Maybe this is just an outlier, or a "bad packing day at the factory," the way some of these have been explained.
Not to mention that the pack he opened in the 'redo' was still not the original pack. This one opened much differently than the one in the other video, which makes is seem like at a minimum one of these packs is a little fishy. Also, the jam he cited as the reason for swapping packs certainly didn't seem to impact even a single corner of any card in the pack. One way or the other, something shady went down here, probably twice
@@BaseballCardIllustrated Thanks for your reflections; I totally agree, all three parts of this episode stink. And I commend you on your excellent command of syntax and sentence structure. I run a small break page on Facebook. I would NEVER take any product off camera once we’ve gone live. Every single box and pack stays on camera and in view for all to see until I open and expose every card for the camera. Period. I am extremely careful with this as to avoid the appearance of something nefarious.
Even if it were true he swapped the pack because the pack appeared damaged, anyone with any decency would state thats what they are doing. VB needs to cut this guy loose.
I find it hard to believe that Leighton is OK with this. I've spent a lot of money years ago through vintage breaks and never had an issue. He needs to be fired before he ruins the vintage breaks name. Clearly without a doubt it was a pack swap.
Says multiple times how "this is the pack, if you look you can see, this is the pack" clearly that is not the pack. Dude is shady, and thinks the rest of us are stupid. He just keeps digging himself deeper in the hole.
At this point even if they do eventually open a pack on camera that *could* have been the original pack there is a zero percent chance that it actually is the original pack.

They really think you card ppl are stupid. If small timers are doing shady scams like this, imagine what the bigger players are doing. ..It’s not hard to shrink wrap and “reseal”
There are shrink wrapping machines you can buy online. Unfortunately people buying into the breaks are too trustworthy, while there are some really good honest breakers, they are plenty of bad shady ones. The part I never get is people will still buy into these breaks regardless of reputation or questionable prior history.
Keep up the great work. These scamming breakers make the hobby suck. So glad I will never deal with people who don't show the whole table and keep everything in front of them. They set the cameras up just so you can see what they want you to see.
i got back into the hobby within the last year because of the nostalgia. buying 88 fleer basketball. i was getting my packs from bbce and i will now never buy old packs unless i am there in person with who i am buying from... too much shady crap going on with this stuff.
Funny that he’s confusing Jim Paxton, who never played with MJ’s Bulls, with his brother John Paxton who played the Steve Kerr role for the Bulls before Steve Kerr.
You are right, I posted earlier and forgot that..like you said John played for Bulls, role player. His bro was not too known. John’s card while I have not looked can’t be too much being a role player for the Bulls MJ era. If I was Ted, I would be doing a dispute in charges if he paid Cc.
He even started loud conversation as a diversion in the swapping video and slid it down the right to exchange. He is playing his people for suckers and it of course will work on some.
The dude kept his hand like 6 inches below the camera lol.... How could u possibly misplace a pack of cards in that small gap. You'd have to go out of your way to misplace a pack.
Question: what are the influencers that have interviewed vintage have to say? What about the other breakers? Does anyone else care or is it business as usual? I wouldn’t trust these guys at ALL
Aka he saw a good card on the back and switched it out. I just don’t understand 🤦🏻♂️ . I was a full time breaker and choose honesty over making money and now I’m down to part time. Even if I could go back two years ago I just couldn’t allow myself to do it any other way. Such is life. I’m sure I could have made tens of thousands doing sneaky stuff.
I know the guys fat. But he needs to have 3 -4 camera angles. The only reason for not showing everything around him is so it’s easier to hide and conceal things when he needs to.
Vintage breaks sucks for a clear and present swap. Is it that hard to see the different wrapper. Thank you again SCR for not backing down. VB needs to be held accountable for thier fraud.

Yep! First thing I noticed, not even a little bit of dust to be wiped off...and he exposed that card back first to the camera for all to see. Resealed pack
The problem is these scam breakers are keeping a portion of their fanbase after they get caught scamming. Someone's gotta keep calling them out and the community needs to stop breaking with them. Otherwise, there will be continue to be more scam breakers!
We need accountability in this business. I started collecting baseball cards in the late 70's. My favorite player was Reggie "Mr. October" Jackson. I stopped collecting cards in the mid 90's because of the reprints of the Fleer Jordan rookie card and stickers. When companies, trading cards stores and dealers feel it is their duty to scam people out of their hard-earned money with these shenanigans. Houston, we have a problem!.

And thank you for what you do 💯
We appreciate you
STOP BREAKING WITH PEOPLE LIKE THIS!
Many commenters have intelligent things to say that get lost in their horrible writing. (Can you tell I was once an English teacher back in the day?)
He is a crook! More people need to stop using these breakers and break your own packs. If you cannot afford the pack, then wait until you can. Crooks will always band together to support their scam!!!!!
I love that attempt at misdirection with the “aw shucks” commentary (in the original switch video). Then the victim card gets played later. Sheesh
I run a small break page on Facebook. I would NEVER take any product off camera once we’ve gone live. Every single box and pack stays on camera and in view for all to see until I open and expose every card for the camera. Period. I am extremely careful with this as to avoid the appearance of something nefarious.
If it was “damaged” he should have explained that in the original video before swapping. So shady
Even if it were true he swapped the pack because the pack appeared damaged, anyone with any decency would state thats what they are doing. VB needs to cut this guy loose.
Vintage Breaks…that guy is a scammer. What a piece of work. Thanks for calling this joker out!
His fan boys that comment on his feed are either the biggest idiots on the face of the earth or are in on it with him..
At this point even if they do eventually open a pack on camera that *could* have been the original pack there is a zero percent chance that it actually is the original pack.
They wouldn’t address me in their comment section…. Unfortunately it wasn’t this guy…. But the guy ripping said they were looking for a sidekick
The pack/box should always stay on Camera. PERIOD....
Great job exposing the ones who are trashing this awesome hobby. Haters gonna hate, keep doing you! Nice work
Keep up the great work. Love these videos exposeing everyone
He might as well say Brandon Cooks to /99
Ty bro for the 411 on these scumbags…just got back into the hobby after 10 years out of it. God prices are sick.I’m from south Philly and these Yokels think
They are slick….Their great great great granddaddy’s probably snake oil salesmen. Lol.
This is pretty damning lmao. I can still picture hundreds of sheep throwing money his way regardless lmao
Keep exposing these scoundrels...your doing gods work.
Probably ate the pack off camera
Nice work, SCR. Inexcusable
Thank you for exposing stuff like this.
Keep up the great work. These scamming breakers make the hobby suck. So glad I will never deal with people who don't show the whole table and keep everything in front of them. They set the cameras up just so you can see what they want you to see.
Nice work once again, boys! Keep it coming...
Bullshit beakers strike again, thank you for taking the time to crate this video
i got back into the hobby within the last year because of the nostalgia. buying 88 fleer basketball. i was getting my packs from bbce and i will now never buy old packs unless i am there in person with who i am buying from... too much shady crap going on with this stuff.
He still swapped it out faster than dipping with Daniel & eating cheeseburgers. Pretty funny how he gets all mad in his new fake pack break 🤣
Dude knows he's in the wrong !! What a scammer
The dude kept his hand like 6 inches below the camera lol.... How could u possibly misplace a pack of cards in that small gap. You'd have to go out of your way to misplace a pack.
Gilmore gotta go!
That was some shady shit he did. I will be avoiding breaks because of people like him. Scammers ruin everything.
I'm sure you're exactly right.... he saw something he wanted and he didn't give a shit his customer already bought that pack
Thanks for trying to keep people honest and accountable but good luck with that. The modo in America seems to be me first and who cares who you have to screw over. It’s sad!
Too many dirtbags out there scamming there customers and they should be prosecuted, this is theft, keep up the great content and have a great day
The hobby is beyond crazy at this point! Not only can you not trust breakers, grading companies consistency and their autograph authentication, we can’t even trust the card companies anymore as they have fake auto’s. Very sad!
So true
You can clearly see the original first pack was also in great shape no dinged corners
JRI who does similar breaks is not cheap, but they run a great show and bust open graded packs daily along with sealed product. Lots of vintage. Even if you do not buy, it is a fun show to watch and they pull some nice stuff.
Sports Card Radio flipping the haters one by one. A few months back, I made a comment about the shady characters that this hobby attracts, always has always will. Some dad replied, Thanks for ruining it for him and his sons that want to start collecting. You wear rose colored glasses too long, ya gonna end up with black eyes.
Most people think everyone is honest and dishonest people fleecing them. I think it is hilarious people actually trust other people to open up their eventual high end cards lol. You might as well give em your bank account info or credit card number along exp date and 3 digit pin.
His comments are a hoot, Daniel why do you dip? You hear the crisp, this a fresh pack lol. Jim Paxon not bad in Bulls era lol, I am shocked he even knows who he is. Jim was hardly good. A good role player nothing more but worthless.
There was zero damage to the card that the gum contacted for over 40 years! Absolutely no residue was transferred! Amazing!
Yep! First thing I noticed, not even a little bit of dust to be wiped off...and he exposed that card back first to the camera for all to see. Resealed pack
@@Oz1976, Absolutely a resealed pack. For that very reason is why he stressed hearing a “pop”. He’s not trustworthy according to his actions.
His comment how crisp it opened lol, granted I am no vintage collector but like you said there would be some residual..they lost all credibility.
The problem is these scam breakers are keeping a portion of their fanbase after they get caught scamming. Someone's gotta keep calling them out and the community needs to stop breaking with them. Otherwise, there will be continue to be more scam breakers!
A scammer can see an unsuspecting person a mile away... and new people to the hobby don't know all the scams.
Time for another video...especially the jokers that were on and his response..again good job. Appreciate you.
Yammed? What kind of yams? Garnet? Jewel? Purple? Will we be having marshmallows with the yams?
Dude if that's you online now...sweet..good job
We need accountability in this business. I started collecting baseball cards in the late 70's. My favorite player was Reggie "Mr. October" Jackson. I stopped collecting cards in the mid 90's because of the reprints of the Fleer Jordan rookie card and stickers. When companies, trading cards stores and dealers feel it is their duty to scam people out of their hard-earned money with these shenanigans. Houston, we have a problem!.
I’d love to get back into the hobby of collecting cards like when I was a kid, but I’m a little wary of being scammed. What are the safest options to go about buying packs, boxes, etc..
Appreciate advice from anyone.
Thanks!
The only people opening my boxes are me. Haven't opened any since 2019 Heritage.
These guys just make matters worse with their lies.
