Cadian kids who don't live up to being soldiers usually become second line personnels and despite not directly fighting most of the time they are still supposed to know how to fight If one of them refused to even use weapons and even more fight for the emperor, he would be beaten and despised by everyone, perhaps even executed if he was suspected to do so as a form of rebellion against the emperor or sympathy for his ennemies, in short he would have a terrible childhood and could only get away with it by compensating by being a courageous medic or doctor Now i can imagine that a veteran could be so traumatized and disillusionised that they would refuse to keep fighting but the imperium would never accept such a thing

Big fan of the channel and your D&D series. If you considered doing a series on the world of Eberron I'd be over the moon!
40k suits you perfectly! It's a duo
Whenever that 40K movie happens. The story of Cadia should definitely be a companion series.
It's not a movie it was a live action series.
@@ezonplays2260 The project with Henry Cavill attached is supposed to be both a movie and series.
Happy to see new content
listened to nearly all the SCP videos now. Defo looking forward to 40K since im quite new to it.
That last line was pretty awesome.
Ah yes, Cadia. Site of Abaddon’s temper tantrum…
Everyone's gangsta till Trazyn the Infinite shows ups with his pokeballs
The humble lasgun does well.
Even a lasgun can kill a god if you’ve got 40 billion of them 🤣
Would like to add, the eye of terror is also known as the birth womb of Slaaanesh, it was created during the fall of Eldar when they created a new chaos god by their emotions.
Just fyi
Im so glad we are getting more 40k videos i missed these
An interesting move to not directly mention blackstone fortresses in the destruction of cadia, but given the rabbit hole that represents, i don't blame you.
Your channel is a staple of my youtube watchin just for your SCP vids..... Warhammer is my other other jam!!
The Eye of Terror was form by the birth of Slanesh
I'd wonder what happened if a Pacifist managed to come up on Cadia without having had that beaten out of them in one way or another, but... well, I suspect that they wouldn't last long. Then again, I also don't know how easy it is to transfer worlds. Maybe they'd be able to get sent to an agriworld or something...
A pacifist? In the Imperium? That's why commissars carry sidearms.
@@counterfeitsaint7479 Yeah, that's about what I was suspecting, haha.
Most likely such a person would be converted into a servitor.
@@grandotaku2501 *googles Servitors* And that's the sort of nightmare fuel I was afraid of... things like that are why I've never followed 40k before TES started back into it...
Cadian kids who don't live up to being soldiers usually become second line personnels and despite not directly fighting most of the time they are still supposed to know how to fight
If one of them refused to even use weapons and even more fight for the emperor, he would be beaten and despised by everyone, perhaps even executed if he was suspected to do so as a form of rebellion against the emperor or sympathy for his ennemies, in short he would have a terrible childhood and could only get away with it by compensating by being a courageous medic or doctor
Now i can imagine that a veteran could be so traumatized and disillusionised that they would refuse to keep fighting but the imperium would never accept such a thing
We need a video of the 13 Black Cruzade. The Imperador demands!
*Enjoys Slaanesh grade soda and chips as this video plays*
Same
Do you ever plan on doing videos on Warhammer fantasy? This is great, been enjoying it!
2:08 Mechanicus, not mechanicum. Mechanicum was pre horus heresy name for the mechcanicus.
1. Cadia
2. Stands
Cadia is to Warhammer like Reach is to Halo.
Wh40k die in cadia
Cadia is Reach if Reach managed to fend off 12 large Covenant invasions and only lost to the 13th because the Covenant slammed a Keyship into it.
Started witching your videos bc scp World but 40k is also very welcome, i suggest a video about the state of the galaxy so far
Love this story even when the world broke in half lazgun fire could be seen still fireing even as the world was blown apart right to the last man
I’m a proud Cadia stan
Cadia Stan...ds
Cadia Stans!
The experiment with Pseudo Pataphysical latent space entanglement nareme fields are working better than those SCP researchers dared hope.
"The Planet broke before the Guardsmen"
You can be sure they did.
I'm looking forward to all your videos on 40k.
BIG FAN.
I am very happy that you are doing 40k stuff. You are the only one I ever listened for SCP ever! And now you got even better. God bless you😊
Loving both the 40k and scp stuff
CADIA STANDS! THE PLANET BROKE BEFORE THE GUARD DID!
I remember reading that there was a Blackstone fortress in orbit around Cadia that Abbadon took over and used its engines to plummet it into the planet, destroying it. Was there a rewrite?
I was one of the people who requested this on twitter! So glad to see you cover Cadia
Really love this Warhammer 40k lore 🗿
Abbaddon and his 13th crusade really did a number on Cadia.
Hearing you talk about 40k is surreal.
The planet broke before the guard did.
Love the 40k content along with the SCP stories. Honestly wouldn’t mind more 40k with the occasional SCP story for a while. I would really love to hear where 40k got it’s start and how the universe has built up over time. There must have been so many big reveals and developments. I am getting into 40k but it’s hard to know where to start. I know that is asking a lot but I think that would be a fun journey to go on as a listener.
15:50 Not the **Navy!**
Please keep doing 40k, it’s great.
"The Empire of Mankind certainly aren't the good guys"
To be precise, the empire is the most evil force in 40k
Dat's y I luv me sum Ork engineerin boyz, hahahah dum 'umi, y'll nevah git us Orks. Shootas, Blood, N Teef WRRRRRRAAAGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!
The most evil? Hardly, that’s more chaos.
Id realy like to hear your take on Ralynors last stand. I love this story.
Good Video!
Cadia gives off mad Legends Mandalore vibes
I liked your SCP content but I LOVE your warhammer content. Thank you! ❤
Cadia broke before the guard did! Always remember that!
Cadia wasn't merely a planet, it was an ideal, an ideal that so long as the staunch Cadian Guardsman lives, Cadia will stand!
Cadia fights, the Emperor protects, and even in death Cadia now fights alongside the Emperor against the countless, nameless horrors of the warp..Cadia stands, the Emperor protects and our enemies shall know fear.
CADIA STANDS!!!
*Guardsman joe proceeds to shrug off a rail gun shot*
