    Great video. One question - If you stack the filters, is there some order rules, that first nd then pro-mist or reverse?

  • @VerriCarlos
    @VerriCarlos 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    I was considering one of these ones, I had the Variable ND from NISI the True Color one, and I love it! I will go for the nisi mist also after looking the results of the video, just because I like the softer blooming ans spreader blooming effetc.

      Hiya, how is it? Does it vignette much? I am on the fence about getting one to go with the true colour cpl as well. Then I started looking through their website and saw these mist ones too🤣

    • @VerriCarlos
      @VerriCarlos 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@MaxCherry4170 mine doesn’t vignette at all! I have two of Vario ND True Color, one 67mm and other 77mm. I use the 67mm on the tamron 17-28 and 28-75 and I get no vignette! The color casting is ridiculously noticeable, barely nothing!

      @@JorisHermans Hi again Joris, I always re-watch your videos and wanted to know if there is a great difference between the Tiffen Pro Mist filters and the Tiffen Black Pro Mist filters in the 1/8 subtle ones, I noticed that you previously were using the regular pro mist ones and later the black pro mist on the newer videos, do you choose the black ones because they keep the black tones better? What is the most important difference between them? Thank you very much!

    I bought the Tiffen 1/8 Black Pro MIst, but shortly after I had bought the Variable ND Filter swift system from Nisi. Would you recommend I return the Tiffen 1/8 to grab the Nisi Swift 1/8 black mist? I don't have experience applying mist and Variable ND filters together but I feel like it'd probly be smarter to have the same eco system of VND Filter / Black mist if I plan to combine em. I cant find any videos where the NIsi and Tiffen are combined for looks but i'd imagine its not that uncommon.

    I really liked your video, I haven't been able to do something like that, except for an article. Before, I didn't see the point of a glass in front of my glasses.
    I have studied each filter during the pandemic and for me Tiffen is the best by far, along with his brothers from Schneider (Ira Tiffen).
    I use the ones in the list and I can only say that each filter has its use and characteristics. From Peaky Blinders to Barry Lyndon. I'm still researching and testing. I am a professional photographer turned to video (DVR).
    If I had to mount one it would only be a 1/4 BPM (Glimmer Glass 1 is fine but can't shoot in direct light).
    Thanks and regards.
