    First of all, just a brief explanation... When we started the channel we were also very beginners in the world of 3D printing, nowadays we give credits in the video and also in the subtitles to all the artists, unfortunately with beginners we don't do it, so some links we missed 😕
    I'll include all the links I have saved, but on ThingiVerse you will certainly find pieces similar to all the ones we make here by searching by name. Thanks for understanding, if you know of any STL that isn't here, send it to us, I'll be happy to add it to the list 🙏🏻
    Now, links below 😁(reply to this comment)

    I just started printing 2 weeks ago and it's really a step-by-step learning on how to do it. A lot of wasted time and filament hehehe...but it is a learning journey for now and I hope I can print someday just like what I am watching now. Very inspiring and motivating video that made me more excited to delve into this craft. I thank Jesus Christ for awakening again the talent he gave me that I had forgotten for so many years. Thank you, Lord, for your continued abidance and graces to all of us our children.

    I've watched a few of your videos now, we have the same printer, essentially, so it's nice to see some cool prints coming out et al.
    ABS REQUIRES a controlled heat environment - you need to get an enclosure if you want ABS to properly stick and not split like you see it so often on yours.
    Get a PEI magnetic plate - you will LOVE the results and ease of removing prints from the plate.
    If you want to print with a super smooth surface. Use a glass plate, and to remove the parts, put the plate and part in the freezer for about 5 minutes. The part will fall right off without any effort, and the surface on the build plate will be mirror smooth.
    Other than that, hope to keep seeing these wonderful time lapse videos! They're great ASMR to go to sleep to, as well as just watch in general.

      Thank you very much for your comment! We face challenges and we recognize them, sometimes I receive criticism (not so nice 😅) on TH-cam, but it's great to receive advice that adds to our channel and is as kind as yours!
      It's a good printer, the ideal would be a structure around it to actually use ABS, Brim has been our alternative against detachment but it doesn't always prevent cracking... We're investing more in PLA, here in our country it's not as affordable but that's what makes up for the ABS headache right 😂
      I also like watching timelapses to sleep, especially those of plants growing hahahah I'm glad our videos are relaxing too!! Thanks for the tips about plates, have a great day and week 😊🙏🏻

      @@mrkennedy3d Hey no problem! Love to see a hobby of mine growing so much as it is. My wife has enjoyed watching your videos as well. I don't know what country you're in, but I know in several countries VoxelPLA is one of the least expensive good brands of PLA - get PLA+, it has small additives that help with some of the downsides of PLA in general. If you want ABS quality (ALMOST) without a LOT of the ABS headache, PETG is amazing, though it is a stringy pain - I try to print one part at a time with it.
      The whole thing about ABS is that it needs the entire part to maintain similar temperatures so that the new layer being laid down sticks properly to the last layer and so on. having it cool in an open print environment keeps ABS from sticking which is why you get the warping and cracks.
      Keep Printing!

    And which filament used to make that type of products ?

    • @mrkennedy3d
      @mrkennedy3d  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hey! How are you?
      Look, we've only had one printer so far, so we're actually not the best person to suggest anything haha About our printer, it's an entry-level model, it's good value for money and everything we learned from it, but it has its challenges Because it is quite "manual", it has few automations compared to other more recent printers, so when a problem happens it's just you and her 😂😂😂
      Regarding the materials, we mostly use PLA and ABS (this works better in closed printers but the price is more affordable so you can make a structure to close the ender), but there are several others, the one they most recommend to us here on TH-cam is the PETG...
      I recommend that you watch printer reviews, we watch this type of content a lot, there are very good channels that will help you!! Have a nice day 1, have a great week 😁😁

    You shouldn’t need brims on your prints. I use the same printer slightly modified and only use brims on tiny objects. Use a skirt of 3 lines just to ensure full filament flow. It saves time and wasted filament.

    • @mrkennedy3d
      @mrkennedy3d  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'll be honest that because we use ABS in an open printer we often had problems with detachment, brim has been our ally, but we are learning how to make prints without it! We appreciate your comment and advice, have a nice day 🙏🏻😊

      I found out after making this video 🤣 We were warned a few times haha Thanks for the comment!

    You dont need to use that scraper, you're gonna destroy your surface. Wait for it to cool and it'll pop off or use a capful of 99% isopropyl alcohol where the print meets the build plate if you're in a hurry....

      Hi! As this is a compilation of all our videos from last year, our first mistakes are at the beginning of the video hahaha in our current videos we no longer do this, we even have a new printer with a flexible table that helps us a lot! But in any case, we appreciate the comment, it was with tips like yours that we were able to evolve at the time and we still evolve today, have a nice day! 🙌🏻😁

    Sorry, but I don't think it's ideal for the printer to hit the mat when taking off the printout

      It's really not correct! As this is a compilation of all videos some of them are older, at first we did it wrong but we were advised in the comments and now we don't do it anymore.
      Have a great New Year's Eve!! 😁🤩

    So sorry for being THAT guy but quality of some of these prints (well most of them) is not best. Also brim brim and more brim. NOT NEEDED for prints like that at all. I went through quite few printers and you just waste time and filament. Also some printer things looks crap just because your filament is so shiny :/

      Hey! This was a compilation from 2023, it really doesn't have that much quality, nowadays we have a Neptune 4 Pro, our impressions have improved a lot with a new printer and a little more experience! We still have a lot to learn, I invite you to follow the evolution of our channel! Thank you for feedback 🙏🏼 Have a nice day 😁

      @@mrkennedy3dwould you recommend the neptune 4 series? I’m thinking about getting a neptune 4 plus but I’m new to 3d printing and I don’t really know how to compare
