I'm an owner of Himalayan 450 and i can proudly say all these problems are base less except that tyre section. If you can't face the heat buy 100 cc bike. And i easily takes turns with this bike
I done 2000km and never felt as he is complaining, don’t create video for publicity by spreading wrong things, tell me which engine above 350 cc is not throwing heat, if standstill for long will feel slightly, but it’s always acceptable for 450cc engine, if you don’t want to feel heat, pl go for 110cc
I have already ridden 10k, my daily ride in Delhi traffic is 40 km , bike don’t just move it glides through the traffic and zooms ahead , yeah initially the handle felt heavy but you drive a heavy bike by shoulder not by wrist, it is actually an advantage to have this bike as I am a regular in long rides
Day before yesterday I completed 6days ride with pillion on this motorcycle 2116km total ride. This included 5-6 ghats (extreme heights of 2460mtr altitude ) , 5 wildlife senchuries , many city stretches And many off roads without tar too Believe me this bike climbs like lizard 🦎 This bike corners like any sports bike This bike has a force like an elephant , after air cushions ride is extremely comfortable. Weight is there but balanced in such a way that I take it to crowded market everyday to bring vegetables and fish 31 mileage Easy 90-100 cruise speed (I was not aggressive on ride) This was my first ever ride though and I can recommend this bike to anyone with short height too.
Hi brother, I am looking to purchase this bike, but due the chassis issue news taking a back step, did you fell any issue on your bike regarding chassis ?
@@rachaconda no brother not at all, even i rode it on worst road conditons that too with pillion. but it is fact that aftermarket products are not designed well, they just give good looks but it is not made taking into consideration the study of bikes design. so avoid after market crash guard. and also with @mototorque radiator grill i faced engine heating issues which is not with stock radiator grill.
I have a Himalayan 450 and everything he said is right except the handling part , at first I felt like it’s a big motorcycle and since I’m not used to these bikes it would be difficult but then I found the handling to be pretty good and it’s a very nimble bike compared to its size . Heating is a problem in traffic especially in summer . Seats are comfortable for a short ride but I’ve also done 400 km in a day in Uttarakhand and felt the need to upgrade my seats at the end of the day . Yes the mirrors are really bad , it’s so hard to get a decent view in them . And the tyres are also not tubeless and that’s always a problem . But it’s a great bike if you are into touring and wanting to upgrade in a few years to a bigger bike like Tiger or BMW .
Even a smaller cc engines which are also liquid cooled produces a lot of heat and I don’t hear them complain and also how do you expect a high torque motorcycle to not have any vibrations at all also I have no complaints about the weight I think it’s more of a skill issue with you buddy
I don't see foreign reviewers complaining about vibrations, heating issues(even Australian ones where the weather is similar to ours) and heaviness. . . . Dude you are buying a 450cc single cylinder bike. Expect vibrations, heating and heaviness. If you want an easy bike then get a 150cc.
What other reviewers say might have various reasons behind it. 1. Which bikes have they ridden before. 2. If it's sponsored 3. Are they reviewing someone else's bike. N many other Yes you are right... That it's a 450 cc single clyndr motorcycle.. So it will have vibrations. If the vibration is bearable or not that's a question.. You can find the answers for it yourself after 90kmph with vibrating side mirrors with no visibility of what's behind you. Regarding heat.. I was expecting it to heat up less due to the liquid cooling they came up with... But it's still too much so I had to highlight. Heaviness.. It is completely an engineering thing.. How you weight balance the machine. Try some premium motorcycles, you will be able to hold a 250+kg motorcycle with a fingertip. Easy 150cc Bike? I have many in my garage already. 😅😅
Hi brother, I am looking to purchase this bike, but due the chassis issue news taking a back step, did you fell any issue on your bike regarding chassis ?
I own a Himi 450 too bro…chassi break down was only due to usage of crash guard used from brand callled “ moto torque” as it is connected to main chassi where engine mount is located
Did anyone else find the suspension not upto the mark? I mean i heard they really have good suspension, but i don’t know mine doesn’t feel that good. Small bumps really hit hard.
It has been 7 days, i have bought and brought home my re 450 Himalayan post delivery. The issues described are trivial except heat which is for sure and inevitable given 452 cc stroke volume. But one real issue i am facing is the speed. As claimed by many vloggers the top speed is nearly 150-160 kmph, but i have barely touched 106 kmph in 6th gear, though city ride. Please tell how can i test top speed this bike
Shit, don't do it before the first service man! Gotta ride the bike under 4500 rpm before the break in period. Don't blindly go by these vloggers... They use test ride vehicles that have been abused!
Just had a test ride and faced all these issues. Without shoes it’s not possible to ride cuz of heat, very heavy handle Bar and lots of vibration as soon as you start the bike, won’t be able to ride for 200+ km continuously
Bakwaas....I don't own it but have ridden it in Bengaluru traffic...which is indeed the best in India 😂...but it doesn't heat...kudos to Sherpa 450 engineering.
Hey.. just wanted to tell abt the 1st 2 points.. dude its a 450cc engine.. obviously it will throw a lot more heat that a 100-125 cc engine.. Like ur literally burning almost 3 times the petrol in the combustion chamber.. Second point, its an ADV.. its a BIG touring bike.. if u arent going to get used to that idea, i dont think this bike is for u.. also the rest of the issues which u have mentioned are soo easily fixed.. like it isnt even worth complaining about.. The Himalayan is literally the best ADV off road/on road tourer on the market in india right now, and the only other competiton for it is the KTM Adventure, and even that is not as capable off road.. So please, before u tell stuff like " O its throwing heat" , dude, ride a 600-900 cc bike and then come back to how much heat this is throwing... smh
Few things.... U cannot ride without shoes... Mid high shoes are better, headlight is crap... Low and high beam both are useless...even in city... After 1 or 2 drops handlebar shows bend, clutch and brake levers are non adjustable, side stand is poorly designed resulting in considerable effort to lift up while seated for even 5ft 7 inch riders .... And mirrors are of course bad as they do not have even the basic adjustibility... Seems designed to force u to buy upgraded mirrors 😂
Why do Indians expect so much with a single cyclinder bike bought with 2/4 lakhs rupees.....this aint a super bike and if you really expect more get a super bike with 15lakhs+ and make a review after that🤡🙂
When you buy such bikes you only focus on the engine to know of it pulls or not and man this engine pulls and pulls and pulls...also What kind of RE it is jiske nakhre na ho... Ye drawback nhi he USP he uske...
